I’ve been harsh on Westerners. Not sorry, but let me elaborate on the nuance.

The Western mind is not built to run the Chinese software. Full stop. You are not designed to process that level of embedded ruthlessness. You can't compute the idea of shaking hands with someone you handpicked as a senior leader in your own business, who then turns around and ignores your rules, lifts your IP, and laughs at your naivety. You still believe in meritocracy, equal opportunity, democracy, liberty. You can’t even compute someone playing by entirely different rules behind your back (or in your face).

Ironically, if anyone could save you from yourselves, it’d be the educated Balkan elites - the real ones, I mean. Preferably women, because we can't get distracted by p*ssy (not sorry).

Our brains - and our languages, fyi - wire us to read both East and West without getting high on either story. Put me up as barrister for Brussels or Beijing and I can prosecute or defend both, equally convincingly. Not because we’re special or smarter. Because we don’t buy fairytales, whether they’re sung in Eurocrat or Mandarin. And when required, yes - we can be just as ruthless, if not more.

Will you ever let that happen? No. Pride > survival. So the battle’s already lost. We’ll watch you moralize yourselves into a ditch while the other side counts the spoils.

The biggest irony is that we’ll outlast you both, lol. If Balkaners are good at something, it's walking through the ashes of empires.

Yes, it should be possible to move Ukrainian production to other European countries. There shouldn't be a shortage of space or machinery after all the manufacturing that has moved to China. Skilled workers are surely available as well, and financing can be arranged from the oligarch money.

Exactly. The threat that the Russians can disrupt production in Ukraine seems to be ignored by everyone. The Russians are not stupid, of course their intelligence in Ukraine does everything they can to find valuable targets.

Regarding the relative security that CB500four addresses above, and considering that together we are strong, as Johan mentions in his response.

Europe would with a fraction of the effort compared to what a wait-and-see approach could entail be able to act effectively for a halt to the Russians' advancement in Ukraine. Whether it's about separated border surveillance, a no-fly zone, or troops to the front.

Zelenskyy, in a statement on November 8, said that Ukraine could acquire Tomahawk cruise missiles if former U.S. President Donald Trump gives the green light.

He noted that discussions with defense partners were ongoing and that manufacturers were ready to supply not only Tomahawks but also other advanced long-range weapons systems.

“Producers are ready to sell. We also discussed other systems, not just Tomahawks, that offer strong long-range capabilities. We’re interested in a full package of options,” the Ukrainian President said.

While responding to a report by the Wall Street Journal stating that the Pentagon has been quietly blocking Kyiv from using US-made long-range missiles to strike targets inside Russia, Zelenskyy said Ukraine has been using its own weapons to hit targets deep inside Russia and does not consult with Washington on this.

He has been pushing for the missiles to more effectively target oil and energy facilities deep inside Russia. Tomahawks have a range of around 1,000 miles.
