I upgraded from the free version to the cheapest version of ChatGPT and I think there was quite a big difference even though there is a lot of nonsense, of course.

I haven’t talked much with AI. A few times with MS Copilot. It behaves a bit like a person who doesn’t want to admit flaws. Below are a couple of exchanges from memory.

I ask something and get an answer.
Me
– But I’ve read that it’s like this

Copilot
– I’ll check. Will get back to you shortly.

Copilot never got back.

Another time, I had a question about how to interpret a notation in a table with results from a regression analysis. I asked specifically about an interpretation that I saw as possible.

I received an answer of the nature of it could be this or that (as I had suggested). It mostly seemed like a repetition of my question. I definitely didn’t feel convinced of any knowledge behind the answer.
