Giving Putin advantages that Trump has been pursuing lately only makes Putin demand more. Trump knows this because he is the same himself.

Trump doesn’t care about the midterm elections; either he imagines that he will win, or he simply doesn’t care. He will not accept any result where he does not win and will rule by decree until someone stops him.

You are probably right in your thought. Those who are kind always risk being exploited.

We in the Western world have indeed been exploited, but we have also built a good society for ourselves, and also for many others who have come here seeking a better life. Unfortunately, many who have come have exploited us, and we should be tough enough to ensure that they do not get away with destabilizing the society we have built for ourselves and our children.

Trump and his supporters believe that everything that has gone wrong in the USA in the last 50 years is because they have been too kind to “the others,” and are now trying to correct this by being mean to everyone who is kind. We must fight not to become the same.

Bamse usually says that if you are strong, you must be kind, but the reverse also applies. If you are kind, you must be strong.
