S + M we have in the municipality. It is the worst of two worlds. S increases the expenses and M lowers the tax. The municipality’s debt has gone from 0 to large in four years. Now it looks like they will get 4 more years, yuck.

Loans are in my world just future taxes or future cutbacks. Better to admit that the painful decisions need to be made now and not by someone else in the future.

The Reinfeldt government sounds like the least harmful. The question, however, is whether it is reasonable for a government to have the support of 99/349 parts of the parliament? It will probably be 4 bourgeois budgets in that case, fun to govern on others’ budgets, that is the greatest societal impact one can have.

A pure S government where S draws support from the other parties might be the best option right now. That way, we avoid red lines and prolonged negotiations. And the threat of a snap election. We are in troubled times, so there is no room for bickering back and forth.
