Yes, of course there are (many) Trump supporters who vote for him no matter what lies and nonsense he utters. But I believe that among those who still cast their vote for him, there are many who would have voted democratically if they had perceived that there was a good alternative.

Of course, there is an alternative that Sweden could welcome all who want to come here, but that would have very significant consequences.

And that is, in my opinion, obvious. So one must probably choose or at least find some balance. Which then must be open to discussion.

Most of that is just Trump’s core supporters within MAGA who are concerned because they have learned to hate everything that is woke (many of them are racists and prefer to see women at home by the stove) but they would never vote for the Democrats anyway.
All they said was that they would raise taxes for the richest, but raising taxes is taboo in the US regardless of who is affected.

The problem is probably not the issues themselves, but that they don’t have much more to offer. They have not been able to explain how they will fix the US economy and how they will improve the situation and the economy for ordinary people. 

Trump had some simple messages, for example, he promised that tariffs would bring in so much money that it would solve all economic problems. A simple message that was easy to grasp. The fact that he failed to explain how it would happen but only promised how beautiful it would be was enough for most people. 

Tax cuts were another point (but it was clear that it was the richest who would benefit).

Pointing out immigrants as a common enemy as the cause of almost all evil is unfortunately also a tactic that seems to resonate nowadays, not only in the USA. It’s so nice when everything is someone else’s fault.

The Democrats tried to win by talking about how bad it would be with Trump. A strategy similar to what the Social Democrats have tried. 

It almost worked all the way, it wasn’t like Trump won a landslide victory directly but it will probably take more in the next election.

Not having a plan when everyone else does, and moreover is against you, feels a bit risky.

Somewhere in the Kharkiv region, our aerial reconnaissance discovered an enemy concentration in a large strip of forest. Around 5 o’clock in the morning, the landing was attacked at close range by a tank and two BTR-4 “Bucephalus” with soldiers. At the same time, another tank was “pouring” grenades from a distance.

The enemy was prepared – they had laid minefields – and put up resistance. The tank and armored personnel carrier drove over unknown explosive charges, but it went without serious problems. Additionally, a Russian FPV drone flew into the tank, but the protective net saved it.

After the “armor” had functioned, the stormtroopers entered and completed the enemy’s clearance.
