Since last spring, I have been driving an electric car; before that, I drove diesel. I drive around 20,000 km/year and save about €100/month with electricity. Diesel here in Finland has become very expensive.

Previously, it was significantly cheaper than gasoline, but we pay an annual so-called fuel tax, about €400/year for a Tiguan, so it benefited those who drove longer distances. The price increase started during the corona years, and rose further after the Ukraine invasion in '22, and now after the Iran attack, so it is now about 10 cents more expensive than gasoline, but the fuel tax is the same.

It is also the case that the price rises during the day if the oil price rises, but falls very slowly. We now have about €2.2/l for diesel.

He knows he is driving the US into ruin, but profits so much from it that he doesn't care about the consequences.

He has allied himself with Putin and wants to take control of the strait to control the oil price so that it benefits both American and Russian producers, and so that he can blackmail especially Europe when needed.

Visited Haparanda recently. The queues at the pumps were worse than in Moscow! But I want to give the Finns that. It’s Finland that will sweep the Russians away for us when our one-week defense gives up. Now maybe I was a bit silly. Also visited Vidsel and the defense security guards there, even though they consisted of beautiful blondes who weigh in at lightweight, they commanded respect at the restaurant. They were serious, no doubt about it. The Russians will be stunned and become an easy target when they see such beauties with batons and handcuffs. Now I was probably silly again. It’s nice up there, go and visit.
