In the direction of Oleksandrivskij, the enemy attempted to break through our defenders' defense 31 times in the areas around the settlements of Zelenij Gaj, Ivanivka, Piddubne, Sichneve, Oleksandrograd, Vorone, Sosnivka, Stepove, Verbove, Pryvilne, Novohryhorivka, and Pershotravneve. Battles are ongoing at seven locations. Railgun shots can reach speeds of 7,200 km/h, making them a highly sought-after military gadget and an ideal defense against the world's fastest hypersonic missiles.

The railgun concept is nothing short of a science fiction idea, as the weapon essentially charges itself by absorbing a huge amount of electricity, storing it as a pulse, and then using it to accelerate a projectile up to Mach 6 speeds. Japan is one of the few countries continuing to research railgun technology.
