Denmark first ordered 27 units of F35. In October, they ordered an additional 16 units. They were probably hesitant about continuing with the F35 or choosing another aircraft, most likely the Gripen.
The reason for the decision was probably to appease Trump, but as everyone knows, it didn’t succeed at all.
