Resistance in the west and east as well as south and north

Various types of resistance actions are increasing in Russia and now affecting all parts of the country. Some actions are violent and are directed, among other things, against the illegal war of aggression in Ukraine, but many other actions are taken for a better environment, a better economy, and many other more “down-to-earth” issues. For example, the resistance group “United Resistance Front” (OFS), together with environmental groups such as “SOS SPb Demolition” and “SOS VNIIB,” have carried out a number of public actions in St. Petersburg.

In their Telegram channel (https://t.me/s/united_front_of_resistance/), OFS has written that they have carried out a total of 28 actions in 2025, including against the Russian railway, the power system, Russian Internet, and other infrastructure in the country. They also claim to have obtained a number of important documents that the group has sent to Ukraine’s security service SBU. Finally, they write that “The Year of Resistance has shown that the partisan network is active, growing, and expanding. Every action is a crack in the system. Every step is proof that the regime is not omnipotent. The OFS is alive, and its work is growing.”

Russian anti-war movement
More and more anti-war groups have also emerged. Considering the draconian measures carried out by the Russian state, this must be considered extremely courageous. Many instead resort to more covert methods, such as acting anonymously to distribute flyers secretly, for example, on store shelves, phone booths, and other places where flyers can be left without showing their faces. In Estonia, the Russian group “Wake up!” has established a platform – https://linktr.ee/ochnis. They are also on Telegram: https://t.me/s/wakeup_russia. They describe themselves as a “Russian Anti-War Public Movement.”

Many Russians in Ukraine
The number of Russians in Ukraine fighting against Putin has also increased in 2025. Today, there are at least four Russian volunteer units in Ukraine, probably more, doing their best to crush the Russian forces:

Additionally, there are at least another 20 Russian organizations that are trying to combat the central power in Moscow in various ways, using non-military means.

Ethnic opposition
Of Russia’s 140 million inhabitants, around 40 million are non-Russians. Many of them are opponents of Vladimir Putin and Moscow. Among the peoples in the southern and western parts of Russia, there are a large number of opposition groups that I hope to be able to write more about in the future. Many of them hate Putin because the Russian military mainly sends their sons to slaughter in Ukraine.

Tens of thousands dead
In addition to his personal responsibility for the deaths of tens of thousands of Russian soldiers in Ukraine, Putin is also responsible for a large number of other deaths. Of course, we must not forget, for example, the heinous poisoning of former FSB lieutenant colonel Aleksandr Valterovitj Litvinenko in November 2006, who suffered for over three weeks after criticizing the corruption and murders within the FSB security service.

Even worse are the murders of over 800 civilian Russians that Putin ordered as FSB chief in 1999. He ordered the bombing of 4 residential buildings with hundreds of ordinary Russians to be able to blame Chechen terrorists and deceive Russia into going to war against the breakaway republic of Chechnya. This was 100% disinformation! When one sees these appalling examples, it is not difficult to understand the core message of the group “Diagnos Putina”.

They should well participate in the exercise Arctic Endurance, as the opposing side (wearing blue and white armbands).
