According to sociological polls, two-thirds of Russians have no idea when the elections are taking place. And, judging by the election campaign, no one particularly intended to tell them about it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"exmediatt-transcript__turn exmediatt-transcript__turn--speaker-unknown\">\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speaker\">Unknown speaker<\/p>\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speech\">That,<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"exmediatt-transcript__turn exmediatt-transcript__turn--speaker-01\">\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speaker\">Speaker 1<\/p>\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speech\">It has long been known that the political and electoral process in Russia is dead. But this corpse has never stunk as badly as it does now. For now, the so-called elections are no longer needed not only by the voters, but by the parties themselves. This year, Russian political forces collected and spent much less money on pre-election campaigns than before. In media comments, campaign representatives unofficially say that there is no point in this due to censorship. Instead of normal advertising and campaigning, they can only make promises detached from reality, which even the regular viewers of Evening Solovyov will not believe.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"exmediatt-transcript__turn exmediatt-transcript__turn--speaker-02\">\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speaker\">Speaker 2<\/p>\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speech\">Down with the rotten capitalist system of nepotism and corruptibility! Therefore, the campaigning looks like an advertisement for a new shawarma stand. The next broadcast is planned for tomorrow. Party representatives ignore the possibility of public appearances so that they do not have to justify their position. Lest it suddenly contradict the position of the current authorities, for which these politicians were supposedly meant to fight in the elections. The fact is that the position of the Russian authorities is a fluid thing. Today it is one thing, and tomorrow another, so that, God forbid, no one adapts. The savages who do come to the debates show why their colleagues do not. After all, simply not coming is less shameful than saying what they say.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"exmediatt-transcript__turn exmediatt-transcript__turn--speaker-02\">\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speaker\">Speaker 2<\/p>\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speech\">For<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"exmediatt-transcript__turn exmediatt-transcript__turn--speaker-01\">\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speaker\">Speaker 1<\/p>\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speech\">Years of Putin&#039;s rule, Russian politicians have degraded so much that they have forgotten how to think, speak, and simply conduct at least some public activity. Therefore, when an opportunity arises, they do it like this.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"exmediatt-transcript__turn exmediatt-transcript__turn--speaker-02\">\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speaker\">Speaker 2<\/p>\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speech\">Communists of Russia are a close-knit family,<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"exmediatt-transcript__turn exmediatt-transcript__turn--speaker-01\">\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speaker\">Speaker 1<\/p>\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speech\">Russian Communists are loyal friends. Against this backdrop, the attempts of propagandists to somehow restore and stimulate political discussion look particularly ridiculous. They literally have to force the guests to say anything at all. But indeed, these tough nuts simply cannot be cracked. Politicians are ready for such traps from the presenters, so they do not fall for provocations and continue to demonstrate complete submission. What did this communist old man spend the rest of his time on, about which he was so worried that he would not have enough of it? The representative of Russia&#039;s Second Largest party simply dedicated his minute to the fallen SVO-fighters and remained stupidly silent for most of the allotted time. The only brave soul at the debates turned out to be an unknown man from the province. He became an oppositionist by accident, simply because, out of habit, he started arguing like a drunken Russian in front of the TV.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"exmediatt-transcript__turn exmediatt-transcript__turn--speaker-10\">\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speaker\">Speaker 10<\/p>\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speech\">Shitty! Just say so!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"exmediatt-transcript__turn exmediatt-transcript__turn--speaker-01\">\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speaker\">Speaker 1<\/p>\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speech\">No other opposition was found in Russia. The only so-called opposition party, &quot;Yabloko,&quot; which opposed the war, was disqualified by a court decision. But no one lost anything because of this. In response to the party&#039;s removal, its supporters suggested eating apples at polling stations and giving them to other voters. And also bringing apples to Russian embassies abroad. Although opposition Russians still decided to go out for normal street protests. True, again abroad.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"exmediatt-transcript__turn exmediatt-transcript__turn--speaker-11\">\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speaker\">Speaker 11<\/p>\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speech\">However, even such a worthless<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"exmediatt-transcript__turn exmediatt-transcript__turn--speaker-01\">\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speaker\">Speaker 1<\/p>\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speech\">The Kremlin decided not to keep the opposition on the ballots just for show. They found a funny life-hack on how to remove candidates from the elections who didn&#039;t make the cut. They are accused of copyright infringement. Yes, candidates were removed from the elections for using AI-generated images, graphics by Banksy, quotes from Soviet films, and photographs of Academician Sakharov in their videos. This situation with the candidates did not prevent the self-proclaimed leader of the Russian opposition from continuing to call on Russians to go to the polls. Traditionally, the elite of the Russian opposition applies the same foolish logic at every election. Namely, any vote not for the party of power is a vote against the regime. And it doesn&#039;t matter to them that these parties have public rhetoric no less bloodthirsty than United Russia. Navalnaya presents this idea as some revolutionary and universal method of fighting the Kremlin. Therefore, she repeats it again and again. She even recorded a separate video in which she promised to explain how to fight the regime during elections.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"exmediatt-transcript__turn exmediatt-transcript__turn--speaker-12\">\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speaker\">Speaker 12<\/p>\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speech\">To whom<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"exmediatt-transcript__turn exmediatt-transcript__turn--speaker-01\">\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speaker\">Speaker 1<\/p>\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speech\">And why are these elections even needed under conditions of the Kremlin&#039;s total control over everything? Well, first of all, the SVO-ers and their relatives will benefit from them. According to the calculations of the CEC of Russia, over one and a half thousand participants of the war against Ukraine are registered for elections of various levels. Also, some parents of fallen occupiers have secured high positions on the lists. All of this fits into Putin&#039;s promises to make the SVO-ers the new elite of Russia.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"exmediatt-transcript__turn exmediatt-transcript__turn--speaker-03\">\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speaker\">Speaker 3<\/p>\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speech\">They are not afraid to hand it over to the old man.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"exmediatt-transcript__turn exmediatt-transcript__turn--speaker-01\">\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speaker\">Speaker 1<\/p>\n<p class=\"exmediatt-transcript__speech\">But, of course, the main necrophile who still needs elections is Putin himself. The Moscow dictator is obsessed with the people&#039;s love, at least in the reports of the CEC. Because of this, he even went on such a typical pre-election tour, the kind he used to do back in the 2000s. Of course, to the regions where Ukrainian drones cannot yet reach. There, he visited various enterprises, dressed up as a submariner, kicked a ball with children, and sort of spontaneously met with the people on the street.
