The likely targets were oil refineries in the area, but it is still unclear if they were hit. According to Kyiv Independent, there are videos showing Russian air defense being activated, followed by a powerful explosion and a bright glow lighting up the night sky. Other videos appear to show flames and thick smoke rising from the area.<br>The governor of the region has confirmed that a massive drone attack took place during the night and that fires broke out at industrial facilities in the city. It is also reported that power lines were damaged, leading to power outages, and that homes and a school had their windows shattered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ryazan refinery, operated by oil giant Rosneft, is one of Russia&#8217;s larger refineries with an annual capacity of about 17 million tons of crude oil. The facility is located about 500 kilometers from Ukraine and produces gasoline, diesel, aviation fuel, and other petroleum products and has been attacked several times before by Ukraine. <a href=\"https:\/\/kyivindependent.com\/russian-oil-refinery-in-ryazan-reportedly-targeted-in-drone-attack\/\">Read more at Kyiv Independent<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Russian drone attacks on Dnipropetrovsk and the Kyiv region injured at least four people and triggered fires at critical and logistical infrastructure facilities. Russia attacked the cities of Dnipro and Samara in Dnipropetrovsk oblast, injuring three people, and fires broke out in a house and several garages. In the Kyiv region, a building materials warehouse was attacked and caught fire, injuring one man. Additionally, one tank, three armored fighting vehicles, 23 artillery systems, two rocket artillery systems, five air defense systems, five ground-based missile systems, 1,163 unmanned aerial vehicles, 375 vehicles, and two units of special equipment were neutralized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A total of <strong>184 combat engagements<\/strong> were recorded over the past day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yesterday, enemy aircraft conducted <strong>89 airstrikes<\/strong>, including with <strong>289 guided aerial bombs<\/strong>. Additionally, the attackers used <strong>7,045 kamikaze drones<\/strong> and carried out <strong>2,449 shellings<\/strong> against communities and our troops&#8217; positions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The communities of Ulanove, Yunakivka, Khrapivshchyna, Bachivsk, Pysarivka, Khotin, and Marine in the Sumy region, as well as Berylivka in the Chernihiv region, were subjected to artillery shelling. Moreover, the areas around Mohrytsia, Luzhky, Marine, Sinne, Ivolzhanske, and Sumy were targeted by airstrikes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over the past day, the defense forces&#8217; aviation, missile units, and artillery struck an area with a concentration of enemy personnel and two command posts for unmanned aerial vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the northern Slobozhansky front, the attackers launched two assaults near Pokrovka and Boiaro-Lezhachi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the southern Slobozhansky front, Ukrainian units repelled six enemy attacks. The occupiers attempted to advance in the areas around Ternova, Starytsia, Rybalchyne, and Ambarne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the Kupyansk front, the enemy conducted no storming operations over the past day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the Lyman front, our defenders repelled six attacks in the areas around Novoserhiivka, Stavky, Lyman, and Zarichne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the Sloviansk front, the attackers launched two attacks near Nykonorivka and Mykolaivka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the Kramatorsk front, the enemy conducted no active operations over the past day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the Kostyantynivka front, ten attacks were recorded. The occupiers conducted storming operations in the areas around Kostyantynivka and Druzhkivka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the Pokrovsk front, our defenders stopped 17 attacks. The enemy attacked in the areas around Serhiivka, Molodetske, and Novopavlivka and conducted stormings toward Toretske, Vilne, Novyi Donbas, Chernihivka, and Dobropillia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the Oleksandrivka front, the attackers conducted no storming operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the Huljajpole front, nine enemy attacks were repelled near Zlahoda, Ternuvate, Dolynka, Hirke, and Yehorivka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the Orikhiv and Prydniprovsk fronts, the occupiers conducted no active operations over the past day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the Volyn and Polissya fronts, the situation remains largely unchanged.
