Ukraine carried out a large-scale drone attack on Saint Petersburg during the night. Images and videos show smoke clouds from several locations, and among other things, an oil terminal began to burn. The attack was carried out timely as the annual conference “2026 St. Petersburg International Economic Forum” had just started.
According to local authorities, 50 drones have been shot down but no further comments have been made.

The attacks on the Tambov region targeted, among others, the JSC Progress Plant factory which manufactures high-tech equipment for control systems in aviation and missiles, but oil and gas pipelines and other infrastructure are also reported to have been hit.
