Ukraine has, for the first time overnight, attacked Ozon, Russia’s second largest logistics company for e-commerce. The attack took place in the Samara region and led to their warehouse being set on fire. Ozon itself states that they had to evacuate over 500 employees. The governor of Samara has confirmed the attack and also stated that a large number of drones had been shot down. The warehouse is said to have been around 135,000 square meters. Read more here<\/a>
As a reference, Jula has a central warehouse here in Sweden of 175,000 square meters, and they state that it is Northern Europe’s largest warehouse and they also plan to expand it by 27,500 square meters, apparently they have not taken the risk of being targeted by drones seriously.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the night, Russia also attacked Ukraine, and once again Kyiv was the target. Several explosions were heard during the night and, among other things, a warehouse caught fire. At least 6 people have been killed and 26 injured. Read more here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    “Glory to Ukraine!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The 1641st day of the Russian Federation’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In the past 24 hours, a total of 202 combat engagements<\/strong> were recorded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Yesterday, the enemy conducted 96 airstrikes<\/strong>, during which 280 guided aerial bombs<\/strong> were dropped. In addition, the attackers used 10,953 kamikaze drones<\/strong> and carried out 3,136 shellings<\/strong> against communities and our troops’ positions, including 35 with rocket artillery<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Enemy artillery shelling affected, among others, the communities of Bachivsk, Korenok, Neskuchne, Ryzhivka, Tovstodubove, Ulanove, Volfyne, Hirky, Budky, Kruzhok, Kucherivka, Shpyl, Stepanivka, and Rohizne<\/strong> in the Sumy region, as well as Zoria<\/strong> in the Chernihiv region. Tovstodubove<\/strong> was also subjected to airstrikes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In the past 24 hours, the defense forces’ air, missile units, and artillery hit 12 areas of enemy personnel concentration<\/strong>, two artillery systems<\/strong>, and two enemy communication devices<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    On the northern Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors<\/strong>, four combat engagements were recorded in the past 24 hours. At the same time, the attacker carried out 71 shellings<\/strong> against our troops’ positions and communities. The enemy also conducted four airstrikes<\/strong> with a total of ten guided aerial bombs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    On the southern Slobozhansky sector<\/strong>, Ukrainian units repelled 19 enemy attacks<\/strong>. The attackers attempted to advance towards the communities of Izbytske, Radkivka, Kovalivka, Okhrimivka, Karaichne, Bochkove, Budarky, and Mytrofanivka<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    On the Kupyansk sector<\/strong>, the enemy conducted an offensive operation towards Podoly<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Attempts to break into our defense were repelled on the Lyman sector<\/strong>, where the occupiers conducted five attacks<\/strong> towards the communities of Lyman, Shyikivka, and Cherneshchyna<\/strong>, as well as in the area around Novoselivka<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    On the Sloviansk sector<\/strong>, the enemy conducted 12 assault attempts<\/strong> in the areas around Kryva Luka and Pyskunivka<\/strong>, as well as towards Rai-Oleksandrivka and Mykolaivka<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    On the Kramatorsk sector<\/strong>, the Russian attackers conducted six offensive operations<\/strong> towards Nykyforivka, Yurkivka, Mykolaivka, and Fedorivka Druha<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    On the Kostiantynivka sector<\/strong>, 25 attacks<\/strong> were recorded. The attackers conducted assault operations in the areas around Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Novoselivka, Dovha Balka, Novomykolaivka, Shakhove, and Sofiivka<\/strong>, as well as towards the communities of Vilne, Pavlivka, Kucheriv Yar, and Mykolaipillia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    On the Pokrovsk sector<\/strong>, the enemy conducted 23 attacks<\/strong>. The occupiers attempted to advance in the areas around Bilytske, Udachne, Muravka, and Novopidhorodnie<\/strong>, as well as towards the communities of Hannivka, Novyi Donbas, Svitl\u00e9, Shevchenko, Vasylivka, and Serhiivka<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    On the Oleksandrivka sector<\/strong>, the enemy conducted three attacks in the areas around Nove Zaporizhzhia, Maliivka, and Yalta<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    On the Huliaipole sector<\/strong>, the occupiers attacked our defenders’ positions six times<\/strong>. The enemy attempted to advance towards the communities of Tsvitkove, Verkhnia Tersa, and Hirke<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    On the Orikhiv sector<\/strong>, our defenders stopped three enemy attempts to advance in the areas around Plavni, Mali Shcherbaky, and Lukianivske<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    On the Prydniprovsk sector<\/strong>, the enemy conducted no assault operations in the past 24 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    On the Volyn and Polissya sectors<\/strong>, no signs have been detected that the enemy is forming offensive force groupings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In total, the Russian attackers’ losses in the past 24 hours amounted to 1,240 personnel<\/strong>. In addition, six tanks, six armored fighting vehicles, 64 artillery systems, two rocket artillery systems, three air defense systems, 11 ground-based missile systems, 1,792 unmanned aerial vehicles, 435 vehicles, and six units of special equipment<\/strong> were neutralized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \u201cDuring the night of August 22<\/strong> (from 6:00 PM on August 21), the enemy attacked Ukraine with Iskander-M and S-400 ballistic missiles<\/strong>, three air-launched missiles of the type Kh-31P\/Kh-59<\/strong> from the Kursk, Bryansk, and Belgorod regions as well as from the airspace over the Black Sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In addition, loitering munitions of the “Banderol” type<\/strong> and 217 attack drones<\/strong> of the Shahed<\/strong> type (more than 50 of which were jet-powered), Gerbera<\/strong>, and decoy drones of the “Parodiya”<\/strong> type were used. They were launched from the directions of Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk<\/strong> in Russia as well as from the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk<\/strong> and Hvardiiske<\/strong> on the temporarily occupied Crimea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The main direction of the attack was the Kyiv and Odesa regions.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The air attack was countered by the air force, air defense missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups within Ukraine’s defense forces. According to preliminary data, by 9:00 AM, the air defense had shot down or neutralized three Kh-31P\/Kh-59 missiles, six “Banderol” loitering munitions, and 182 enemy drones<\/strong> of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other types in the northern, southern, eastern, and central parts of the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Hits from enemy airborne attack weapons were recorded at 41 locations<\/strong>, and the fall of shot down targets or debris was recorded at an additional 12 locations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
