The hardest thing is probably when a person dies in front of you, whether it is a Russian or Ukrainian.
\n\u2013 as a human being you wish no other person to die, period.<\/p>\n

Then we have the war on top of that, the Russians can choose to be there (well, it is a considerable amount of coercion) and they seem to have bigger problems with cold, bad food and poor leadership than that they are in Ukraine. They would rather shoot a Ukrainian than refuse war. If enough had refused war, there would be no war.
\n\u2013 they deserve to die as long as they are in Ukraine and you have no sympathy for them over a death in combat, especially because that Russian would have shot a Ukrainian if he had not died \u2013 that position you have to take.<\/p>\n

Let Ukraine retaliate in kind if they want, I cannot judge a Ukrainian who would torture a Russian soldier when he has lost his wife and daughter to torture and rape by Russian soldiers. So many civilians have been affected by that so there are probably vengeful soldiers at the front.
\n\u2013 no one has the right from the safety of their couch to judge a Ukrainian committing an act of revenge on those premises.<\/p>\n
