Wagner is a death cult like ISIS probably.

Today’s Accent Man posted this morning in yesterday’s thread by MTX, and while I was eating waffles and watching I missed all the essential parts, had an interesting detail –
The new brigades are formed in the 9th and 10th army corps.

We have written about this for a long time and it felt like a confirmation that they pulled some out already in September and others when the winter offensive was paused to wait out the fiasco and they have been trained, equipped, and rested since then. All had combat experience from before.

They have therefore not been part of the defense during late autumn, winter, and spring.

One should not underestimate the enormous blow that is on its way here. For those with a long memory, we talked about the critical mass being on Ukraine’s side already in spring 2022.

Now we know, since we read Rybar, that one of the army corps has been moved behind the southern front, which is the obvious thing.
The question is where are they sending the other?

They don’t need to send it to Bakhmut, we can probably conclude that.

Defmon came with an update that someone posted in the thread last night, and he also points out that RU is now fortifying the “Svitlodarsk-popasna line,” which we also discussed the other day. How he knows which units are fortifying a line so far back would be interesting to know, of course 😀

That it was the next logical defensive line was probably not so hard to figure out, though.

That it would be LPR units in Horlivka and that line was also a good guess from us apparently, cool.

It’s a bit like when The Phantom came in the mailbox as a child, the same feeling opening Defmon’s scribblemap and checking the positions of the RU units.

If his map is correct, RU does not intend to hold Opytne – southern Zaitseve for very long but only until the new line is fortified, which we also reasoned about?

I counted 17 units (in various conditions!) holding the part of the Bakhmut front that will fall and 8 units defending the Svitlodarsk-popasna line.

RU has thus currently deployed 25 different units there, brigade size down to battalion, and personnel strength is highly unknown.

But…

This is a small front and there are 5-6 more.

We have received hints that they have pulled units from Avdiivka, Vuhledar, the southern front, and probably somewhere else.

They weaken all other fronts to be able to hold the Bakhmut front.
And UA is holding back its offensive reserve.
Is there anyone who still thinks that Bakhmut was poorly fought?

I believe we now have the entire Bakhmut operation investigated actually and how this will play out. RU falls back to its new line and then the combat objectives are achieved.

Notably, RU is weak near Kupiansk and there UA has a tank brigade. Now that we have sorted out Bakhmut, maybe it’s time to look at that area?
Not because it’s next in line but how UA must act to retake it.

The Dnipro line also looks worryingly weak for RU 😀

There is an attack vector south of the Siversky Donets and that is to take Lysychansk.
Again, Defmon’s map shows it looks like RU is preparing to defend Severodonetsk and abandon Lysychansk.

Since UA is holding Bilohorivka up in that area, it’s likely. Especially when the larger front collapse comes around Bakhmut.

Soledar is part of the offensive around Bakhmut but it will also affect the defense just north of it and UA will find some opening and give the Russian defense up there a solid uppercut.

The quick-footed remember that Lysychansk is on a height so they can throw stones at the defense of Severodonetsk and we will see a lot of dead Russians in Severodonetsk going forward.

I’ll see if I can find the big offensive post today and do a repost because I suspect I don’t remember everything correctly.

S and N regarding Bakhmut and around Soledar should start moving, at least Klischivka is either already taken or at least planned to be retaken.

Then we should see amphibious operations at an unnamed river.

UA dominates totally right now, the initiative has completely shifted to them and they are driving RU ahead of them with a sharp stick that they poke them in the back with.

That RU has had to weaken all other fronts just to stabilize Bakhmut is sensational.

When they have fallen back to the Svitlodarsk – popasna line, they will need several thousand defenders of Horlivka so they will need to send even more in there.

10:54 – Johan No.1

Lion ✊
https://twitter.com/ukrainiansquad/status/1659976437946888198?s=46&t=8D4nzf0nue_utC2hykxBWw

It has not been in the shadows at all but we probably haven’t dived deep into it in the thread, first Zelensky went to the MENA states’ summit and got positive response and then off to G7 and was praised by everyone, and then Modi showed up for a private meeting.

Indonesia, Korea, someone else – all wanted to meet Zelensky. It’s probably in the nature of pessimism that everything goes badly even for pessimists.

You have to say that the West has solved this quite nicely, right, 500-600 billion USD is not pocket change and it stings.

There is another angle to this – they have not sent large sums to Ukraine yet but they have frozen large sums.

Presumably, discussions are ongoing with those who can be considered opposition with frozen assets where they hint that they can be thawed in exchange for certain steps in the right direction?

After all, it is a single person responsible for the funds they stole with their sweat so that the family can live like a modern version of a god in Londongrad now seized. The dinners are probably completely frozen when wife and children no longer get the weekly diamond ring.

Why should one accept that the entire family’s wealth that one has worked very hard to steal over many long years with champagne and caviar is forfeited just because one man’s empire dreams crashed totally?

Suddenly it happens and Number 1 on the bubble list is broadcast worldwide – the struggling piñata dangling at the feet in a gas station.
