FABs och soldater är billiga för Kreml och kräver ingen oljeförsäljning. Samtidigt kräver såväl KABs som soldater logistik, KABs i form av stridsflyg och luftförsvar, och soldater i form av en militär apparat som kan utbilda, försörja, transportera och administrera, i (kanske få) förekommande fall en sjukvårdsapparat. stridsledning, åter luftvärn, kommunikation och spaning. Ovanstående inte alltid billiga saker.
Håller med. Däremot tror jag det kan ta något år eller tre innan Rysslands ekonomi är så körd i botten att de tvingas ge upp på grund av det. Kan förstås gå snabbare om den inhemska opinionen växer sig stark och börjar protestera innan det gått så långt.
Det har börjat höras en del kritiska röster om att landet är på väg åt fel och och det har varit en och annan öppen demonstration fast då har det varit ungdomar som blev upprörda över fängslandet av hon om spelade regimkritiska låtar, men det är ändå ett tecken på att man vågar säga emot.

historia.
I går blev det klart med Gripen till Colombia. För nästan 70 år sedan (1958) levererade Götaverken och Kockums världens kraftfullaste artillerijagare till Colombia. ARC 20 de Julio och ARC 7 de Agosto. Dessa var moderniserade Hallandsjagare. Mycket kort byggtid, 36 månader. Det var ett samarbete mellan Götaverken/Kockums/Bofors
och de Laval.
Affären med Colombia orsakade en del ekonomiska och tekniska problem men dessa kunde lösas tack vare en stor insats av och mycket gott samarbete mellan de inblandade parterna. Jagarna blev en kraftig förstärkning av den colombianska marinen och var i tjänst till slutet av 80-talet.
Jagarna hade 3 st 12cm torn mot Hallands 2. För att klara vikten drog man in några luftvärnskananer och sjömålsroboten.
ARC betyder Armada de la Repùblica de Colombia. Motsvarar HMS ungefär.
