Starting with the once-in-a-lifetime loss report 😀

There is so much to draw from right now, and even the USA has sent some trial balloons, although Diaper Don, for the first time in over seventy years, is not basking in the TV cameras and explaining to everyone which way the clocks are ticking.

At least Trump hasn’t kept completely silent but has spoken with Putin and announces that Putin will retaliate – apparently, it’s now okay not to want peace?

Equal treatment zero of course, but what did we expect from the Orange Sh1tgibbon.

General Flynn says it’s the Deep State that has hijacked the USA from its legal government.

And Kellogg, whom we thought was sensible, is now ranting about WW3 and unnecessary escalation.

The line from the USA will probably be this – we are closer to a nuclear war and WW3 thanks to Ukraine’s irresponsible warfare.

Does it sound familiar, by the way, didn’t Biden and Sullivan used to play that card most of the time?

And Hegseth skips Ramstein for the first time in three years – so serious was this escalation from Ukraine apparently for the USA.

The only thing that has changed is evidently that Ukraine has chosen to come out strong knowing how the reactions will be – at least this is what I’ve been waiting for a whole war.

40 bombers, the Kerch Bridge, and it has only just begun – much anguish among the Russian team now and the first casualties have occurred.

This is how you bring down a dictatorship – you humiliate the current clan leaders and show that they are weak and incapable of protecting the country.

Then you give the opposition, whoever they are now, a sporting chance to overthrow the leadership.

A popular revolution in Russia is probably hoping for too much, but Ukraine plans to have good relations with the six oblasts along their border.

The Russians are now WhatsApp-terrorizing the USA and UK to calm down Ukraine, but they are not getting any responses – suspicion is starting to spread that the entire West is in on the act, and if there’s one thing RU is, it’s paranoid.

There are probably three bottlenecks, and if you keep an eye on them, it will be a bloodbath.

Along the entire coast from Kinburn spit down to Crimea, there are lots of bases and staff.

The Black Sea Fleet has already withdrawn, even though it ventured out during the peace negotiations to shoot Kalibr missiles at civilians in the cities they can reach.

A couple of sunken ships and they retract their claws.

The air force – probably not very difficult to deny RU air force and army aviation access now that the last F-16s have arrived.

I don’t know what the radar surveillance looks like now, but UA has shot down much of that capability and the LV screen in Crimea.

At night, start with large-scale raids along the coast down to Crimea and Crimea, while waiting for the fleet and air force and trying to combat them – sounds quite likely.

Or maybe do both.

Do you think Trump calls Zelensky and talks for an hour after each Russian missile attack?

Trump and Putin are shaken by this, very clearly.

Unfair and equal treatment is conspicuous by its absence, but Trump is quite far from his arrogant and Zelensky-hostile self right now, which is good.

As I said – how Starmer, Macron, and Merz position themselves here will be absolutely crucial.

If they stand behind Zelensky, Ukraine will win this, and if they try to calm and de-escalate, this was probably the last round of fireworks available from Ukraine’s side.

Waving a piece of paper like Chamberlain or solving a three-hundred-year-old problem?

Being a coward or standing up for international law and a sensible code of honor?

We’ll see what they come up with in my absence – Dengamle is completely thrown off guard, which Budanov usually only does when they have something big planned, otherwise he is left to run around with his black powder.

    The rest of the world probably sees the area as part of Moldova.
    Shouldn’t it be enough for Moldova to invite Ukraine?

    There is likely a lot of military equipment in Transnistria’s mobile depots that Ukraine can use.

    But sure, it will of course cause a hell of a stir for both Trump and Putin if Ukraine goes in there.

      The Moldovan government is weak and has rather poor control over the country. There is probably a fear that a liberation of Transnistria would trigger a civil war in Moldova, which still has many clan-like thinking and criminal groups.

    The meeting in Ramstein, Germany 🇩🇪 without the US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and the visit of Germany’s Chancellor Merz to Washington DC 🇺🇸 and meeting with President Trump at the White House.

      Above all, Merz is interesting. Since ww2, Germany has maintained a low profile in foreign policy, which has benefited countries like the UK, France, and the USA. Suddenly, they have a leader who wants to show the way without wearing a black Hugo Boss suit with freshly polished leather boots.

      Germany has economic muscles, how will Merz react when boss Trump says he should go back to the basket and lie down?

    Elon Musk’s anger towards Donald Trump’s budget has so far not provoked the president’s wrath, but it may be just a matter of time before the scales tip. This is according to several sources familiar with the matter speaking to Politico. As of now, the president does not seem to be taking the criticism personally, but that could change quickly, notes one of his advisors.

    The opposition has an advantage and the distance to the Tidö parties is almost 13 percentage points, according to SCB’s major party sympathy survey. The opposition receives 55.3 percent and the Tidö parties 42.5.

    The Social Democrats are making significant progress in the survey.

    I wonder if this could backfire?
    Conducting a witch hunt on an 82-year-old who is starting to become senile, has prostate cancer, and will not participate in any more elections feels distasteful and unjustified.
    What does he hope to achieve? Is he going to put Biden in jail, and what does he gain from it?
    Furthermore, he risks ending up as he has sown when his own term is over.

    The only thing I can think of is that he wants to show that he has the power and that no one can escape, not even Biden, thus trying to scare all opponents.

      Something happened in the USA about a decade ago when it was time to elect a new president after Obama. It got dirty and much of the responsibility falls on Trump, Hillary Clinton, and former speaker Nancy Pelosi.

       

      Unfortunately, it is a sad development, unfortunately, in many other countries. Look at Brazil where it is almost customary for former presidents to be prosecuted and imprisoned.

    Well. Hegseth said after the NATO meeting in Brussels that Trump has breathed new life into the defense alliance and that national investments of five percent are expected. He also says – which may be more interesting – that now Europe must step up. What does that mean? That Trump was taken aback by Ukraine’s formidable performance and doesn’t really know which side to take?

    Canadian armored vehicle manufacturer Roshel has begun production operations in Ukraine. “The facility was opened two months ago and is now actively operating.” Since 2022, over 1,800 Roshel armored vehicles were delivered to Ukraine.

    The 28th meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (“Ramstein” format) has once again confirmed: our partners remain reliable and resolute in supporting Ukraine.

    We have achieved significant results — in 2025, security assistance will surpass the levels of all previous years of the full-scale war.

    Following the meeting, our partners announced new aid packages and important steps of support:

    🇬🇧 The United Kingdom announced a record-breaking aid package for drone supplies — £350 million, which will allow the transfer of 100,000 drones to Ukraine in 2025. In total, the UK’s military support in 2025 will amount to £4.5 billion, of which £247 million will be allocated for the training of the AFU.

    🇩🇪 Germany has approved a new military aid package worth €5 billion. The Bundestag has already approved the decision. The package includes: ▪️ funding for long-range weapons to be produced in Ukraine, ▪️ transfer of air defense systems, weapons, and ammunition.

    🇳🇱 The Netherlands is providing an aid package worth €400 million ▪️ it includes a mine countermeasure vessel, boats, and maritime drones.

    🇧🇪 Belgium has announced a long-term initiative: ▪️ annual assistance to Ukraine amounting to €1 billion until 2029 ▪️ transfer of a mine countermeasure vessel.

    🇳🇴 Norway is allocating: ▪️$700 million for drones, focusing on supporting the Ukrainian defense industry ▪️$50 million to the NSATU Trust Fund.

    🇨🇦 Canada: ▪️$45 million for drones, electronic warfare systems, IT solutions, Coyote and Bison armored vehicles.

    🇸🇪 Sweden: ▪️€440 million for international programs to procure artillery ammunition, drones, and other weapons for Ukraine.

    I am grateful to all the countries that continue to support Ukraine. Many thanks to my very good friends, Minister Healey and Minister Pistorius, for organizing this meeting.

    Peace in Ukraine must be just, lasting, and protected by international unity. Together, we are working toward achieving this.

      Defense support for Ukraine under the “Danish model” will scale up to €1.3 billion already in 2025. A portion of this funding will come from the proceeds of frozen Russian assets.

      This is an investment in our victory — in weapons produced in Ukraine, and in the security of all of Europe.

      The first tranche — €428 million — comes from Denmark, Sweden, Canada, Norway, and Iceland. These funds will soon be directed to the production of Ukrainian-made weapons: artillery, strike drones, missiles, and anti-tank systems created in Ukraine for our defenders.

      This decision is the result of discussions with my colleague and friend, Danish Minister of Defence @troelslundp Troels Lund Poulsen.

      The “Danish model” is a unique mechanism for directly supporting Ukraine’s defense industry. It reflects trust in our army, recognition of our manufacturers’ capabilities, and a tangible contribution to strengthening Ukraine’s Defense Forces.

      We are also preparing new strategic initiatives — both for Ukrainian companies to invest in Ramstein countries and for expanding European defense production on Ukrainian soil.
