Since mid-May, the overall trend seems to be on the rise, but it varies quite a bit over time so it may not say much about the future.
Since the end of the summer of 2024 and up to now, the number of conflicts has been at a significantly higher level than earlier during the war. Of course, it has fluctuated a bit since then, with a record of 292 on December 15, 2024, and a low point of only 85 on February 5, 2025.
Yes, it’s a war machine in the east that is slowly escalating. The west has everything to lose by not getting involved as an active part in the war. And nothing to gain by not doing so.
“A loud explosion was reported in Engels, Russia. A large plume of smoke was seen rising in the area. Per ASTRA, the blast may have occurred at the 9th Central Automobile Repair Plant, located 2 km from the Kristall oil depot — or possibly at the RusKon-S pipeline valve plant nearby.”
“#Kharkiv. Russia continues its relentless drone strikes on the city, targeting residential areas. 15 injured, four of them kids: 2, 12, 16 and 17 years old. Residential buildings and private homes damaged, schools, a daycare, a shop, vehicles damaged. Every day, Russia destroys.”

If one cannot take Kharkiv, one can destroy the city. But I hope that Karma works in silence.

I am a little disappointed that there are not as many refineries and depots burning anymore, but I have to agree that it is probably a smarter strategy for Ukraine to target factories and facilities that are essential to the Russian war industry.

Maybe the falling oil prices are taking care of that aspect now, and that the Russian military power is being more effectively restrained by knocking out key producers in weapon manufacturing? 🤔 Just a thought – also enjoying the sight of burning refineries lighting up the night sky. 😁
We did lower the price from 60 to 45 USD per barrel as well, although it only affects a small part of their exports.
Yes, there is something special about burning Russian oil!
Of course, it’s neither good for the climate nor the environment, but it’s all Putin’s fault!

The temperature is rising in the Middle East.
The United States is on high alert in anticipation of a potential Israeli strike on Iran, with the State Department authorizing the evacuation of some personnel in Iraq and the Pentagon green-lighting the departure of military family members across the Middle East.

As a result, the USA is preparing for retaliatory attacks on its military bases in neighboring Iraq. “The government feels frustration that Swedish aid is not reaching those in need in Gaza. This was stated by Minister of Foreign Affairs Maria Malmer Stenergard (M) and Minister for Development Cooperation Benjamin Dousa (M) at a press conference.
“The crucial thing is that food, medicine, and water reach the civilian population. Using them as a method of warfare is a war crime,” said Maria Malmer Stenergard.

Iran 🧐
We have already said that the decision has been made regarding an intervention, haven’t we?
Well, you’ve touched upon it, but then you probably thought it would be the USA driving it?
Now it feels like they’ve handed it over to Israel?
Although it will surely be a joint operation with the USA involving remote intelligence, robots, and aircraft.
There should only be a flight if I have received the right information from Dengamle.
Alltså not a land invasion
Or whatever it’s called 😳
Marking offensive?
😳
The USA has about 300,000 in the region, 2 CAG (I think) and all B2 down at Diego Garcia so the USA is absolutely prepared to bomb away some mullah power.
Iran is on China’s side so in the bigger picture this benefits the USA.
Also, Israel wants to remove Iran’s support for terrorism in the area – and several countries would probably be grateful for that.
Probably Saudi Arabia, UAE, and a few others want Iran to be taken down a notch maybe?
Hot tip from Dengamle – keep an eye on t-shirts in the same colors as flags in Iran.
Those 300,000 are probably on their way home to tackle down demonstrators and participate in the parade! 😂

It reasonably doesn’t just one hangar ship is +10,000?
But yes, in Syria it’s close to zero, and in Iraq the government has said that the USA should leave.
Well, it may be that they have agreed that Israel will lead. The USA will surely provide some cruise missiles and air defense, they have indeed taken a lot that was earmarked for Ukraine.
What does the thread think about the China – USA trade agreement?
Then there are drier tones from the USA towards India?
I find it a bit difficult to keep up with all the twists and turns 😀
Just posted about China. From what I understand, there is only a framework in place between China and the USA. And that 3-month pause for other countries (at least the EU) would be extended by another 3 months…I scrolled quickly though, maybe I misunderstood.
Stonily negotiated by Trump 🤣🤣
TACO – He threatens and then he gets the rare earth metals right in the face….haha “up yours” Chinese style!
China imposes 6-month restrictions on licenses for exporting rare earth metals to the USA.
That’s what happens when an ignorant stupid idiot of a president shoots from the hip without risk analyses and knowledge! TACO Bell is ringing!
⏲️
There he negotiated well, master dealmaker. 😃 Maybe that will make him a bit more “stable”
Yes, it does not leave much room for negotiation for the USA. From what I understand, it’s not that China owns all the rare earth mineral deposits, but they have the technology to extract them – the USA, for example, extracts some metals but sends them to China for processing. In the long run, this is something we in the EU must start considering if we are to begin extracting the deposits in Sweden and Norway to become more independent – we must also build up the technology for processing.
China has a firm grip! They snatched the solar cell market and they do things long-term like with Northvolt and graphene. Now we have the next battle that has already come a long way in its strategy! With leaders like #fcktrmp, the USA will fall far behind. For example, USAID could have given them negotiating space based on gratitude and willingness to do business with the USA! Instead, they are now angry with them and neither buy Teslas nor want to do business with the USA! Moreover, for example, India would rather do business with the EU now!
Unfortunately, it seems that only China is thinking long-term…. And the USA is making enemies with the whole world – pretty poor negotiation skills, in my humble opinion. 😜

“The police found a survivor at site 11A.
He has been taken to the hospital and is receiving care. We cannot yet say anything about the number of dead. The death toll may rise as the plane crashed in a residential area,” he says.
The man claimed to be the survivor is Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, who himself tells about the accident to Hundustan Times. He says that “everything happened so fast” – When I stood up, there were bodies all around me. I was scared. I stood up and ran. There were parts of the plane everywhere around me, he says.

A terrible accident with many dead.
However, the guy at site 11A was lucky and seems to be the only survivor.

There you can talk about luck, it was no small fireball, must have been almost fully fueled.

The activists have started to become more and more aggressive, it was another politician who was attacked outside the parliament building today.
Soon it will really explode with serious violence.
Yes, that was indeed an attack (if it is the same incident). I hope there will be consequences even if it did not result in any injuries.
I have a little difficulty understanding what they have actually done. There is talk of intrusion, but in the pictures, it looks like they have placed a sign outside the entrance door. In any case, it is very inappropriate behavior, but if they have entered the apartment, it should just be a straight path to prison without passing go.
A classic threat to show that one knows where someone lives in order to create fear, today it was a note, what will it be tomorrow? A bomb?
According to reports, they have also been inside the stairwell.
This was no childish prank but directly taken from the terrorist handbook chapter 1 q.

I wrote yesterday that I didn’t believe the film would be to the advantage of V because they didn’t comment on it. I was apparently a bit too quick because now they have. Now they urge for the film to be released.
Strange if that’s true.
The investigation of the EU Parliament has confirmed that it was Alice who was attacked.
If it were the other way around, that in itself would be a bit of a scandal.
“A lawyer hired by the Left Party has examined the surveillance footage showing the well-publicized scuffle in Brussels, reports Aftonbladet and TV4 Nyheterna.
According to him, Alice Teodorescu Måwe (KD) grabbed the V official’s arm with a violent movement, and then aggressively approached the official.
“This film material unequivocally supports the truthfulness of the official’s testimony and reveals the obvious inaccuracies in the statements made by the member and the parliament’s spokesperson,” the lawyer writes in a document that TV4 Nyheterna has access to.”

Dadgostar and Sjöstedt send forward some Belgian lawyer who is allowed to lie while they hide behind the desk. They can’t be caught lying if the movie were to come out, which it probably won’t.
They had to choose between hiding away Sjöstedt’s aggressive employees who have sought a confrontation or escalating, now they chose to escalate through a representative.
Now it has gone so far that I think our media can show the WHOLE movie WITHOUT cuts.
– so we can draw the correct conclusions ourselves?
Agree with you.
The risk is that someone will soon release an AI-generated movie that will further complicate things.
Now there are police reports and counter-reports so some film probably won’t be released. The Left Party knows that the “media’s court of public opinion” would rather bring down a well-known person than some insignificant henchman that no one knows the name of.
So they will continue to harass our elected politicians, by following them, showing that they know where they live, harassing their neighbors and friends, standing in the way and shouting, filming and photographing them for provocative purposes, etc. All to provoke a reaction so that someone eventually loses patience.
Is this democracy? More like mob rule.
Have you seen the movie, or how can you be so sure? It could just as well be the Christian Democrats misleading? Even they would probably do everything they can to support their representative until any evidence showing the opposite would emerge for everyone to see?
And the other thing you write:
“So, people will continue to harass our elected politicians, by stalking them, showing that they know where they live, harassing their neighbors and friends, standing in the way and shouting, filming and photographing them for provocative purposes, etc. All to provoke a reaction so that someone eventually loses patience.”
Sadly, it’s just a general description of our present time, regardless of the political side. Sure, mainly not from the center maybe (or is there an extreme center?), but rather from all extremes, right?
The security department of the EU Parliament has reviewed it and has clearly stated that it was the left-wing woman who launched the attack. I assume they are impartial, which is more doubtful when it comes to the parties involved or their lawyers representing them.
I am against all forms of harassment. Now it is a fact that many of those who engage in this are left-wing. The Left Party has even had to start training for its members to combat the racism that is prevalent among their members. The Sweden Democrats also had that problem and still do to some extent, although it has improved significantly.
The massive escalation that we are currently seeing is mainly among Palestine activists and their support groups on the left.
Well said. Thank you.
“Now it is a fact that many of those who are involved in this are left-wing.
It probably depends entirely on which forums you frequent. Much of the garbage out there, such as talk of “traitors” and “hang them from lampposts” that I see, seems to come more from the far right. The “fact” is probably that it is the extreme parties rather than just the left.”
In Aliice’s case, it is undoubtedly a leftist. Those who have targeted the Minister for Foreign Affairs are Kurdish leftists who are supported by the ETC journalist who went to Turkey without being able to prove that he was working as a journalist. Those who targeted Jessica Stegrud outside the parliament are Palestinian groups that have a close cooperation with the Left Party.
It is not good when fools on the right do the same, but it does not excuse the left for doing it, which they often and gladly emphasize as an excuse.
My experience is that Lawyers can argue about everything to their client’s advantage and what they focus on. Of course, the lawyer works hard to turn the case around, and if you take screen by screen, you can even play Trump and get away with lies!

Are they as corruptible and as easy to exert political pressure on as those in the IOC or FIFA?
Hm, maybe the timing of the statement answers the question? 😜
Meeting on Sunday between the USA and Iran. The mullahs probably feel a little pressure now when the USA has also brought home relatives, or maybe they’re thinking about TACO.
Don’t think Trump wants to enter any war right now, it could disrupt his military parade.
Iran’s nuclear weapons program takes place in spaces 200 meters below the surface. It cannot be bombed away. What is it that one should bomb?
It would have been fun if even the moles, the revolutionary guard, and the police went underground in bunkers. Who would then keep the people above ground during oppression?
A more effective way can be to enter the war as an active party.
War has been the mother of inventions.
We see it in the development of drones in the war in Ukraine, not least on the Ukrainian side.
The first jet engine to fly was developed by the German physicist Hans von Ohain in 1939. The jet engine then went on to revolutionize travel.
Supporting innovation with tax funds is all well and good.

Woman took care of wild leverets – convicted of hunting crime
According to the district court’s assessment, the woman intended to keep the wild leverets as pets. Photo: Police
When the woman was out for a walk, she found two leverets next to a run-over hare which she assumed was the mother. After taking the leverets home, she was charged with hunting crime. Now the woman is fined because she appropriated wild animals on someone else’s property.
She has no right to take game from someone else’s land or to have rabbits as pets.
Admittedly a minor offense that makes one wonder if society should spend money investigating, such crimes should be punishable by a fine.
But the children’s mother had been hit by a car.
I would estimate that a few hundred thousand leverets die each year, the hare population varies quite significantly and is influenced by weather, food availability, and the predator population. Hares give birth to up to 5 young, and 1-2 reach adulthood, the rest succumb to predators, weather, diseases, and food availability. That’s nature, and perhaps we have to accept it. If humans were to disrupt this, nature often strikes back; if there are too many of one species, diseases tend to spread to restore the balance.
Then we have the legal aspect.
Game belongs to the landowner (there are some exceptions), and it is not allowed to hunt game or lure game away from the landowner’s area. The legislation makes no distinction whether it’s a hare or, for example, a moose.
Furthermore, you are not allowed to keep wild animals as pets without special permission, so there the woman is also breaking the law. The reason why permits for hare enclosures are not generally granted, or to my knowledge not at all, is that they must be extremely large for the hares to thrive.
Now the law is written as it is, and it applies to everyone, including women with a big X. (replace X with whatever you find appropriate).
Then one might ask why someone has taken the case all the way to court? Does someone want to set an example, or is the woman furious and has had a falling out with the landowner or someone else?
The rules are incredibly rigid and do not take any circumstances into account.
One reason why you are not allowed to take care of wild animals is to protect them, but in this type of case, it is obvious that it is not about wanting what is best for the animals involved.
If we assume that it was the mother who was hit by a car, the person who found them would have called someone who would have come and shot them, or left them and they would have died, and the landowner would not have seen them at all.
Maybe not so smart of her to want to keep them, but I guess she had no idea about the rules and didn’t think about the difference between wild hares and tame rabbits.

I had forgotten that I had run out of Nemiroff so I had to settle for a little cognac to celebrate the first million with.
The donations have started coming in brilliantly so we don’t have to pay out of our own pocket 😀✊
