Ifall A, July 25, 2025

We have now reached the end of the training series on Russian influence and subversive activities ordered by MSB, the contract was with MXT and we received free museum visits in Stockholm for 6 months as a thank you, and we have a new master negotiator👍

Previously, we have detailed the local Russian attack on the Baltics which is intended to avoid triggering NATO or Europe’s counter-reaction – or at least practically prevent it. The purpose is to test NATO and show that the emperor is naked paired with an economic attack from the USA.

Moreover, it’s Friday and that means it should be a bit more speculative 😀

Here comes scenario A which has a slightly higher level of ambition – everything is speculation until it’s not anymore, but hypothetically.

The problem that the entire West is struggling with now is that the markers for assessing increased threat from Russia can be masked in Zapad 25 because it includes a readiness test of navy, air, and ground forces together with missile and robot troops.

Links don’t always fit into the statement for the simple reason that the statement is fictional but the link is the information we have today.

Commecar –

Under the pretext that Russia will test the readiness in Zapad 25, which is scheduled to take place in September 2025, with a possible start in the middle of the month, they have during the summer of 2025 started to move their strategic resources – fleets, nuclear forces, and robot troops (mainly in Luga) and the air force to the staging areas.

Zapad 25 is supposed to involve under 10,000 participants and be held in Belarus – Europe breathed a sigh of relief, but already in July, all Russian fleets were conducting exercises with 15,000 troops participating in ground forces, without prior notice.

No one in Europe seemed to react significantly as it was in the middle of the holidays, more than some Swedish blogger that no one listened to.

Russian rhetoric is becoming increasingly harsh – for example, accusing the USA of trying to start a war in the Azerbaijan area, claiming that Europe started the war between Cambodia and Thailand, and attributing the India – Pakistan conflict to the colonizers (the exact details are unclear).

Putin speaks in tongues as usual about nuclear weapons, and a lot of information about the strategic drone weapon is released along with increased intensity in drone warfare in Ukraine.

Country after country in Europe is urging its citizens to leave Russia and the Baltics.

Sometime in early August, China announces that they will send observers to Zapad 25 and a Special Operations Forces battalion lands in Minsk 25 minutes later.

The following week, they announce that they will also send observers to Kaliningrad, along with a Special Operations Forces company, two ministers, and a general landing in Kaliningrad to the red carpet and lots of caviar. This is covered by all major media outlets in Europe for a few days, and the Chinese minister talks about peace in our time.

Russian TV constantly airs which European cities Russian drones and robots can reach and how many Oreshnik are pointing towards Europe, and what the doomsday weapon is. In the news studios, an endangered species has returned – the doomsday prophets, they tell us about nuclear winter and how entire cities are burned to ashes.

D-Day, which became a date during the last week of August when everyone was still on vacation, the Russian ships from the shadow fleet open a row of containers on the deck along Europe’s coasts.

https://www.rte.ie/news/primetime/2025/0724/1525050-shadow-fleet-irish-eez

These containers hold Geran drones that, just like Shahed, can be packed into containers in tight rows.

From Greece up to the coast of Estonia, undefended targets are attacked by the 200 Geran drones per ship that are fired in a first salvo – a total of 4000 drones. Europe’s air defense manages to take down minimal of these drones as countries like Greece, Portugal, Spain, Benelux, UK, and France did not have much defense to boast about, and also had too long mobilization times for their forces to combat the targets before they reached them.

All across Europe, drone groups are activated with FPV drones attacking targets across the surface, and Europe’s air defense and civilian protection are helpless.

The videos are quite similar to the ones from Russian refineries in 2024 where Russian soldiers could only watch the drones and utter a long “blyat,” but now it’s “merde,” “scheisse,” “hell” instead.

This was Russia’s first strike and their Pearl Harbor, which only had a chance to succeed if Europe was caught completely off guard – it was crucial to strike weeks before Zapad 25 as the entire Europe had that date as a potential start of war and was preparing for it.

In fact, politicians and military personnel across Europe guessed that it would be a tough autumn, so they made sure to take a long vacation in August instead after HR’s push so they could resolve the overtime issue.

All over Europe, deployed military aircraft, navy ships, mob depots, ammunition depots, oil depots, refineries, radar installations, air defense systems, and other high-value targets are being fought against.

One problem that no one has time to reflect on this first day is that very little of what has been taken out can be replaced within a reasonable time, just like for Russia and their knocked out strategic bomber aircraft.

China presses the button in the morning so that all solar panels in Europe short-circuit as the circuit boards burn out (new circuit boards are in China). In London, Paris, Rome, and Warsaw, a few substations also explode/catch fire per city – Europe is plunged into darkness within seconds and the cascading effects on the power grid are absolutely immense.

A blogger from Sweden, Johan No.1, posts a one-liner on Bluesky – “I told you so / Regards, The Lower Class” which goes unnoticed in the general chaos.

The Green Party immediately tweets that it’s all nuclear power’s fault before they realized it was Russia.

In all major ports in Europe, a ship from the shadow fleet is sunk right in the harbor entrances, and in some cases, a ship just sails straight in and explodes. They were apparently filled with fertilizers that turned into a massive explosive charge.

A telegram is sent to all news agencies where Russia announces that they have lost contact with several ships from the shadow fleet, suspecting that it could be terrorists, and urges Europe to exercise utmost caution.

During 2024 – 2025, Russia had tested our willingness for actual preparedness by running the shadow fleet through our waters and also these ships loaded with fertilizers. When the consequences did not materialize, they took a break to calm us down a bit and then struck.

In some places, Europe’s border guards actually fight against the ships, but they are filled with oil, so when they sink, the ecological disaster is a fact, which Europe’s environmental movements are furious about already two hours before the first ship is sunk. Not towards Russia but towards the countries in Europe that defended themselves, and they take to the streets immediately when the videos spread like wildfire, often filmed from the ships themselves and already edited.

All across Europe, demonstrations for peace also start on the same day with pre-printed placards and the same color on the t-shirts – primarily the demonstrators who were pro-Palestine who now want peace in our time instead and join forces with the above environmental movements to besiege parliaments and city centers.

Far-right extremist lynch mobs roam around and assault immigrants – preferably women and children where swastikas are carved into their foreheads and children’s faces are smeared with lard. The assaults are filmed and spread worldwide with derogatory remarks about immigrants, and especially about the Prophet Mohammed with accompanying caricatures.

10 minutes after the far-right attacks, migrants carry out several spectacular beheadings of children across Europe in response to the attacks.

Islamists also gather at major churches throughout Europe for mass prayer – often arriving at the sites long before the far-right violence occurred, but representatives are clear that it is a response to them and that “time is subjective in the name of God or how.”

Our far-left extremists always want to overthrow governments and are passionate about equality, so they join forces with Palestine – and environmental movements at all of Europe’s parliaments and city centers. Here, it is more of a people’s revolution than anything else, and AFA is really excited about the possibility of overthrowing “the rich bourgeoisie who are living it up in Rosenbad,” but then corrects itself that it does not apply to the Social Democrats, the Left Party, or the Green Party.

In the midst of all this chaos, a cloud of robots and drones swoops in over the Baltics, 100 robots and 500 drones on day one, and then daily operations in the coming week but with less intensity. The number of high-value targets being eliminated is absolutely devastating, and just as suspected during the Ukraine war, Russian robots and drones have excellent accuracy.

Russian artillery, FAB, and close-range drones cover the entire border with the Baltics, and the Russian strategic reserve is deployed in the type of warfare that worked in Ukraine, advancing 5-10km/day behind a wall of indirect fire that is moved forward – “wipe out kilometer square” is back with a bang.

It turned out that Russia had equipped and trained an offensive reserve of 150,000, and when the North Koreans took over at the northern front, 50,000 were released from the VDV, the marine infantry, and experienced units.

Already in July 2025, an extremely competent and tall blogger Johan No.1 warned that there were already 20,000 North Koreans at the northern front, and that it would be a total of 30,000, but no one listened.

The Suwalki Gap was mined again overnight with long-range mines fired from Kaliningrad and Belarus. Any attempt to move units through the area is met with FPV drones that no one knows where they come from.

The Baltic Fleet, which had left port for the exercise but also been reinforced by the Northern Fleet, is off the coasts of the Baltics and Poland – they had mined the harbor entrances days before with special forces from Kaliningrad, and submarines are spotted by the Balts. Russian diplomatic channels contact all European governments and promise that the fleet will unleash a storm of fire with all available weapons they have on anything they can reach in Europe if a single soldier crosses the border into Kaliningrad or if a single ship even gets a scratch.

Europe had not really anticipated that about eighty surface ships, the largest being the Admiral Kuznetsov, would be off the coasts of Poland and the Baltics, and quickly realize that within minutes they could engage targets across all of Central Europe, providing a huge second-strike capability.

The UK decides to conduct a flyover with three F35 divisions, but as they take off from the airfields, the first planes are shot down by manpads from special forces groups hidden at the airports, causing panic and forcing them to abort and send in air defense instead, the same happens at several military airports around Europe.

The Northern Fleet heads south off the coast of Norway in international waters, and the landing tonnage of the Baltic Fleet moves (empty) off the coasts of Bornholm and Gotland with light escort.

When the Swedish, Danish, German, Polish, and Finnish fleets are supposed to leave their naval bases, it turns out there are bottom mines at the entrances, causing critical delays of a few days.

Russian fishing boats had been seen in the days before near Fårö, Åland, the islands south of Åland, and the large islands off the coast of Estonia.

Contact with the few Swedish units on Fårö is cut off at lunchtime, and apparently Russia had stored a large arsenal in the basement of the Åland consulate and had been bringing in military personnel over time. Åland is captured without a shot being fired – Åland was a demilitarized area.

But not for very long because the Nyland Brigade’s coastal rangers land early in the evening, as Finland had full control of the trick and mostly just wanted to lure two companies of Spetsnaz into a deadly trap.

The Russian naval special forces that had tried to place coastal missiles on islands in the Gulf of Finland lose contact with the Russian command just hours after regrouping, and no one understands why.

All major airports in Europe either receive a bomb threat or a bomb explodes in the departure hall, and according to protocol, they shut down. Unfortunate for many of Europe’s politicians and high-ranking military officials who were on vacation outside of Europe or down in Portugal and Spain – since Zapad 25 was weeks away, no travel restrictions had been issued, everyone wanted to take their accrued leave as they anticipated a stressful autumn, and besides, there was WhatsApp and Zoom as a last resort.

The internet is completely blacked out in Europe around 09:00.

Those who are not on vacation in all critical functions are woken up early in the morning when the alarm chain goes off, and after a quick cup of coffee, they head to work – cars exploding, fake traffic police stopping vehicles, DHL couriers killing, and above all, snipers positioned on rooftops across the street from all major workplaces/emergency workplaces shooting those who managed to navigate the deadly obstacle course to get to work.

This happens so quickly that no security departments have time to react, and the disaster is a fact.

In hindsight, it is revealed that Russia extensively used criminal gangs to knock on doors on that critical morning dressed in DHL or Fedex uniforms.

Bombs explode during rush hour in large shopping centers and subways. At T-Centralen, a suicide bomber from the scared minks causes 300 deaths – “mink fur is genocide,” they shout.

Inside Belarus, the entire Belarusian armed forces are standing by the border fence with Poland, leaving the Polish armed forces unlocked.

China calls and reminds all European governments about their generals, ministers, and special forces present in both Belarus and Kaliningrad, stating that they only want peace but may be forced to permanently halt all maritime transport if even a hair is harmed on the minister’s pointy head.

In Finland, the entire Finnish armed forces are ready at their land border after a two-hour general mobilization, but they are unlocked by this year’s conscripted Russian units in training stationed there, as well as secondary units also in the area.

From the Belarusian land border into Ukraine, reconnaissance units are moving in large numbers, and Ukraine suspects that North Korean special forces are involved, perhaps even Chinese special forces with North Korean documents – a major attack cannot be ruled out, and forces have to be relocated there that were desperately needed elsewhere.

In hindsight, it was revealed that they only had the capacity for these reconnaissance skirmishes, but the purpose was to tie up Ukrainian forces.

Hungary has also launched an attack from its land border into Ukraine as they must rescue the Hungarians who have been subjected to ethnic cleansing inside Ukraine. This was not popular at all in Hungary’s armed forces when it was being planned, so Orban had to dismiss 100 senior officers in the years leading up to clean up the lack of loyalty.

Slovakia has closed its land border – nothing goes in or out.

Suddenly, the 100,000 guest workers from Ghana in Serbia are moving into Romania, walking along all major roads towards Bucharest to seek asylum, setting fire to everything burning along the way armed with Kalashnikovs.

After the war, when there was time to go through everything, it turned out that these 100,000 were soldiers from several African countries with a different mission.

In 2025, African migration had picked up such pace again that Greece introduced a complete asylum stop, which they never did in 2015, but the media never really reported on this.

Many humanitarian organizations strongly condemned Greece already in July 2025, by the way 🧐

From Transnistria, “the two Russian battalions” and the entire Transnistrian “army” invade Ukraine, a force of 35,000 in total, but Ukraine has no direct defense in the area to speak of. Apparently, Russia had managed to sneak in more units into Transnistria over time and had been training militias in the Balkans during the past year. Moldova immediately launches an investigation into how this could have happened.

The Baltic defense quickly collapses in a cloud of FAB bombs, FPV drones, and artillery, where Russian troops advance incessantly. Mechanized units equipped with T90M, BTR-90, and BMPT are deployed upon breakthroughs, units that no one believed existed. Once again, the shining star Johan No.1 had warned about this, but it had been dismissed as unrealistic.

As our elected officials feel they had somewhat control over the situation, gangs, organized crime, and criminal clans across Europe rise as if on a signal in the evening. They attack civil society, take over entire towns or districts, and establish roadblocks with armed masked militias.

From a Bluesky, a quiet voice is heard saying, “I told you they were a threat to the system.”

A wave of bank robberies, looting of shops and homes, and general destruction sweeps across the country – especially affluent areas are looted completely, with villas burned down and luxury cars stolen.

Some left-wing politicians get so excited that they start writing about a people’s revolution on Twitter before posting a plea for help as their own townhouse in Mälarhöjden has been burned down.

Everyone is masked, and now the Swedish Security Service (SÄPO) understands why 200,000 balaclavas were sold in the months prior, flagged by some summer intern.

An IT glitch in all alarm companies has caused surveillance cameras nationwide to shut down.

Other IT failures have also knocked out mobile networks, Swish, banks, public transportation, trains, and even Arlanda Airport. Trying to call 112 resulted in a busy signal, and all internet services were down.

Many mobile towers collapse across Sweden in the morning, despite the weather forecast indicating calm winds and sunshine before the internet blackout.

In Spain, Catalonia declares itself independent, and across Europe, small areas declare independence that are barely known. Even Scotland, in fact, identifies the country as the Republic of Scotland and announces that it is a new gender identity that the country’s 6 million inhabitants have adopted, stating that they no longer belong to the Commonwealth and referring all questions to JK Rowling.

Trump is constantly in the media announcing new tariffs against Europe, bans on various European banks from conducting transactions, American companies declaring they will leave Europe, and capital flows from American hedge funds rapidly leaving as if on a signal. Even though there is no internet, the downturns on European stock exchanges are astronomical, and everything shuts down in panic as the abyss opens up.

At some point, Trump promises trade deals to countries that make large purchases of his Victory perfume.

Trump also accuses Europe of provoking Russia by being “irresponsible” and refuses to allow American forces to participate in the defense – after a dozen generals are fired, all American forces switch allegiance to Belgium and the Netherlands to be transported because they “will be needed in the war against China.”

However, Trump has not declared any war against China other than promising in harsh words that “China will get hell.”

All American naval forces, air forces, ground troops, and command functions are to be moved to the US West Coast and the Pacific immediately – chaos is just the beginning.

Trump has also had Obama and the Clintons arrested weeks before and paraded them in front of the White House, causing large groups to go completely insane, leaving the country half paralyzed by protests. MAGA supporters were so thrilled about this that they forgot that “all Epstein documents had burned up in an unexplained accident.”

Then, when China attacks Taiwan, Trump moves everything to the US West Coast for further transport to Europe so that he can “give Russia hell,” but this will only happen after a few weeks.

The Baltic states fall immediately with their nonexistent defense forces of 6,000 per country, Ukraine quickly loses ground in areas where it had not been previously attacked, but the bright spot is that in Europe, there is a sense that they have somewhat begun to regain control with power outages, missing leaders, no Twitter, general riots, the wave of violence from criminals, new governments voted in, and a review of the equipment lost.

The problem each European country now grapples with is that they have realized they need their under-dimensioned defense forces for the domestic chaos just when they would need to send everything to Ukraine and the Baltic states.

For example, our defense forces of 25,000 were first used to further fortify Gotland in haste, retake Fårö from surprisingly well-armed fishermen, and then for point surveillance of high-value targets. The police also received some allocation to reclaim lost areas from gangs and criminal clans. It turned out that the 60,000 criminals and hundreds of thousands in criminal clans and their loyalists were a tough nut to crack – the dialogue police were not at all capable as the gangs refused dialogue.

Furthermore, the police argued that this was no longer a public order issue but a civil war, and thus a military problem, so they amused themselves with traffic monitoring instead of maintaining a high resolution rate in crime statistics.

It was later revealed that criminal clans had managed to infiltrate about 10% of the police force and were obstructing all decisions at all levels during the critical first days.

“Just like the Palme assassination,” exclaims a police officer on his last day before retirement.

What happens now?

In my opinion, the worst thing that could happen to Putin is if Europe responds, retakes the Baltic states, and assists Ukraine with troops to liberate the country.

Europe will never invade Russia.

What is the situation like today for Russia, and would this worst-case scenario be a disaster for them as they find themselves in a very deep hole they dug themselves into?

The quick-witted realize quickly that all the above is taken from reality or in line with what is likely, and the only thing standing between this and reality is whether Russia dares. Then we can discuss the actual outcome, but if you want peace, you should prepare for war, right?

Have we made an effort to get Putin to refrain from this – clear about the consequences?

Have we previously been clear about the consequences and then not followed through on what we promised when Putin, grinning, took a big step over the red line?

There is a significant risk that Europe will not be able to gather to assist the Baltics, and the situation may go from bad to even worse for Ukraine, while European countries are fully occupied with the chaos Russia has created for us.

The Balts pleaded for help, but we had to refrain – and besides, how could we send our soldiers there when the Baltic Sea was full of mines, Russian submarines, and missile batteries on every small islet?

In Ukraine, demonstrations are starting, and some army units refuse to fight after three years with no end in sight.

Several senior officers are being killed, and everything indicates that it is Zelensky who has issued the order in a desperate attempt to retain power – the anti-corruption agencies present irrefutable evidence of this.

Zelensky tries to call all European leaders, but no one has time for him anymore; he realizes that Ukraine now stands completely alone.

A Russian offensive begins on D+2 along all fronts, and reports indicate that Russia has gone all in, deploying everything everywhere, and the indirect fire is absolutely deafening as they have obtained Chinese rocket artillery and new types of drones.

Ukraine never received the air defense ammunition Trump promised, and they lacked everything, even 155mm shells. Moreover, the promised Patriot missile batteries were eight months away.

D+2 was because the Russians failed to get organized, and Gerasimov is fired.

I’m not saying this will happen, but I’m saying this is what Europe must prepare for – which Europe is not doing.

Finland has not taken any chances, and their border is fortified. You also saw how quickly the Nyland Brigade recaptured Åland and all the Russian Spetsnaz patrols with severed throats on small islands in the Finnish Gulf that were found after the war.

Ok – Europe steps up and finds its big-boy pants after a bit of rummaging in the closet.

Putin is arrested and sent to The Hague along with about thirty generals; the new administration promises solemnly to be very kind and agrees to a ceasefire in Ukraine and the Baltics on the spot.

They also promise to arrange peace talks to start within a month.

Peace in our time is dangled in front of Europe’s leaders – you can probably guess the rest.

Russia has also conducted this analysis and war games; what do you think the final decision was?

ADS
As you have probably noticed, we now have ads on the site. The ads and their placement are managed by Google, which also tries to optimize it automatically. We will let it run for a few weeks to see where it ends up. Some placements feel quite large, but it might get better.
We will then post a survey to hear what you think, if there are too many ads, if there are certain placements that are particularly annoying, etc. so we can make any adjustments after that.

  2. Fascinating. Logical and well-founded. Purely literary not inferior to a top-notch thriller.

The problem is perhaps that Europe/the West is not already launching an attack into Russia for preventive purposes. That is what would ruthlessly be needed to thwart the above scenario. Anything less and the threat remains. A threat that is real.

Is legitimacy lacking? Is a Pearl Harbor missing?

In Iraq, Afghanistan, Europe did not hesitate to deploy military resources to counter a potential threat. But in our immediate vicinity, where Russian asymmetric hybrid warfare is already confirmed, we sit idly by. Not to mention the illegal annexation of regions belonging to and then the full-scale aggression against our close ally since the Cold War, Ukraine, with several bilateral military cooperation agreements.

Pearl Harbor exists. Just like legitimacy. Acting now. For preventive purposes.

    Moscow 👉

    1. If one considers that they are fighting in Ukraine with a million and sending a lot of drones and robots, and that GRU and FSB are state-prioritized functions.

and that they have had 10 years to plan + have gangs and clans that you have access to.

what would they be able to achieve is indeed the question?

igniting sparks everywhere in the whole of Europe is probably not very difficult

    2. Hmm. Yes, Russia should be able to be seen with a moderate measure such as disabling the GPS jammer in Kaliningrad in an appropriate way.

  3. “Save the wetlands” has apparently been instructed to take the fight to Ukraine.
Or maybe they just want to inform us that we should be grateful that the Russian devils did a good deed when they destroyed the Nova Kakhovka dam and restored the wetlands.

  4. What happened to Starlinks?

Yesterday, the system was shut down geographically in Ukraine, which has only happened once before when the Russian fleet was threatened.

      1. It was quite warm so I admit 😀

In the Caribbean, we solve it with air conditioning and in Portugal, the houses are built so that you get a draft all the time – the apartment goes straight through the house so that negative pressure is created on one side evenly.

Wooden houses that are well insulated might get a little warm, right?

    1. I have just managed to crawl into the kitchen and open the door to the freezer to get some cool air, starting to recover slowly. 👍

As a true lower class, it will of course be bitter when the bill shows up, but what wouldn’t one do to survive?

Then it was time to clean out the freezer. Grabbed a bag and put it over my head to cool off. It apparently contained discounted bologna sausage that expired in 2009. A bit of a shame, probably would have worked in a stroganoff.

        1. Ouch. Don’t feel particularly positive, let’s hope they are wrong.

By the way, I came across this ad that I’ve never seen before. And no, I haven’t been searching for any obituaries, even though it would be nice to find Putin’s.

  5. Now that you apparently are huddled in front of an open freezer to not die in the heat, I’m checking the newspapers and no one is really writing about it?

When it was hot in Portugal and Spain, it was called “matador heat”, “killer heat” and lots of deep red headlines that reporters traveled to report from.

However, what I find is that they are writing about floods down on the Iberian Peninsula after “biblical rains”.

So my conclusion is that you are exaggerating 😀

And then I think you are lacking empathy for not worrying about the biblical rains in Spain.

        1. I don’t know, I just read what is written here and you made me feel empathetic. 😥

Yes, the media thrives on clickbaits nowadays. Maybe not directly lying so much but they choose their topics.

If it just rains enough, it will be written about as well.

Denmark was supposed to be flooded and become a new Atlantis the other day, but they didn’t have the audacity to get three meters of rain so it quickly became quiet about it.

  6. I read between the lines that in two hours and nine minutes, the turnout for Friday’s binge will be lukewarm because you are all lying on the beach feeling like Iberian princes 😀

    1. I got brain-freeze from the falukorv so I don’t feel like a noble person, Iberian or not.

Although if it had been prinskorv instead of falukorv maybe it would have been better.🤔

  7. I had thought of a similar solution a long time ago, but then as an alternative to flying in and sacrificing a drone to take out individual front-line soldiers. A shotgun blast to the face should go a long way. Here you have six attempts, then you can go home and reload.

Drones are cheap, but still a shame to waste them, and shotgun shells cost a pittance compared to grenades.

“A Ukrainian experimental drone with a 12-caliber cannon pod. Its primary target is small frontline drones like the DJI Mavic.”

  8. Is it best for Macron to stop in the pillow? Feather-light down is apparently popular as filling for those who can afford such things.

“President Donald Trump says that French President Emmanuel Macron’s decision to recognize Palestine as a state is meaningless. This is reported by AFP. – He is a very good guy, I like him, but that statement carries no weight, says the American president to journalists.”

    https://omni.se/a/JbaBv4

    1. China has weighed in on Gaza recently – threatened to take over the whole issue.

Could Macron’s statement have something to do with this?

    2. Swimmer’s fever? Never heard of it before.

“The Public Health Agency warns of swimmer’s fever after several cases have been reported in Sweden, reports Sweden’s Radio Ekot. Swimmer’s fever is caused by vibrio bacteria that thrive in water that is over 20 degrees Celsius.”

      https://omni.se/a/yEqOKJ

      1. That I have – lived in Bromma my whole childhood with walking distance to Ängbybadet.

In adulthood, we lived for a few years in Bromma with walking distance to Ängbybadet and as soon as it got so hot that you needed to swim, Ängbybadet closed due to e-coli and such, you could get infections.

Don’t know if it’s warmer but we are a long way from when some councilor in Stockholm drank a glass of water from Riddarfjärden.

        1. Did you sneak in for a swim and manage to pull it off too?

In smaller lakes, it might be common, I mostly swam at the summer cottage in the Baltic Sea and the few occasions when the temperature reached 20+ degrees can be counted on one hand’s fingers.

      2. Oh, should have been on its own.

Those damn ads make it so you hardly know where you are on the page. I wonder which imbecile moron put them in?

  9. I wonder who the other three assistants are that Den Gamle brought with him?

“Four men are sentenced for the theft wave against several liquor stores in southern Sweden last spring and summer, reports local media. The men broke in and stole safes with cash at eleven different liquor stores.”

    https://omni.se/a/dRVkMB

    1. Who is Dengamle?

Rumored to be someone who hangs out on Cornucopia full-time but never says hi here but has never understood who it is.

  10. Do you feel like you can barely keep up with the cycle of life all the time – check out the series Wetlands on Net@lix, where they barely have time to kill off one threat before the next one arrives.

    1. Searched for Wetlands and Netflix. Guessing that this wasn’t the one you were referring to?

      “Plot:

The film follows Helen, a teenager who is expelled from school for an intimate shaving accident and ends up in the hospital. She uses her time there to try and reconcile her divorced parents, while simultaneously challenging societal norms and exploring her own sexuality.

      Themes:

The movie explores themes of coming-of-age, family dysfunction, sexuality, and social taboos. It’s a character study of Helen, who is unapologetically herself, despite her unconventional behavior. “

      1. I currently don’t have Netflix, could you please check and leave a review?

You can blame the missus, saying it was a request from your followers!

  11. I do not feel that this has received enough attention, but Ukraine is clearly stating that the USA and Europe are preventing Ukraine from targeting objectives in Russia.

It’s absolutely sensational but completely in line with what I’ve claimed since certain types of targets have completely disappeared.

I actually cannot understand this – that Europe in 2025 is doing this is incomprehensible to me. The counterargument to me is always that Europe has a diabolical plan together with Ukraine, but this is indeed the plan 😐

    https://www.ukrinform.net/rubric-ato/4017977-cinc-syrskyi-urges-us-eu-to-provide-more-air-defense-and-allow-strikes-deep-into-russia.html

    1. Well, that’s mostly sick.

If I were Zelenskyy for a day, I would completely ignore all restrictions.

Accelerating Russia’s economic decline is probably their best chance of winning the war, and knocking out military bases, airports, etc. is also necessary.

        1. Well, that seems to be the case. Ukraine has to fight with their hands tied behind their backs and apparently stay on their side of the border.

Now, Biden allows them to go 100km in, but that’s not enough.

Strange that despite Kursk, they don’t understand that it’s completely safe and that the Russian bear is toothless.

    2. Enligt Syrskyi resulterade operationen i Kursk i att minst 80 000 ryska soldater dödades eller sårades. Han avböjde att avslöja de ukrainska förlusterna men noterade att de var betydligt lägre än de ryska förlusterna.

  12. Great!

Must also be seen as a recognition from their side that it is needed.

“Israel will allow foreign emergency aid to enter Gaza from Friday, reports Reuters citing IDF. According to Haaretz, the emergency aid will be allowed to enter by air, through parachute deliveries. The announcement comes after escalating reports of extensive famine in the strip.”

    [Link to the original article](https://omni.se/a/W0V7nK)

      1. Ah, you were thinking like that.

Hmm, Israel’s new tactic is quite smart.

        Starve the population to death.

Cheaper than real bombs because they are paid for by aid organizations, and at the same time, they appear as humanitarian heroes.

    1. Nearly 950 aid trucks are waiting at the border, ready to support the people of Gaza.

      So who’s holding them back?

      The UN.

While Israel facilitates the entry of humanitarian aid and the @GHFUpdates delivers it directly to civilians in Gaza, the UN is obstructing the efficient flow of assistance.

We call on the United Nations to stop blocking essential aid. Immediately.

      https://x.com/israelmfa/status/1948073004631474448?s=46

      1. As someone commented:

“The boxes say GHF. These are not UN supplies.”

Then the image may have been chosen purely illustratively, but the account cannot be more pro-Israeli and if you read other posts and shares, as they try to convey the image that there is no famine and that everything is faked by HAMAS and they are clearly against the idea of Palestine even existing as a country.

  13. You MXT, seems like it’s you and me here today – I’m sitting in the office with the air conditioning on in my Friday polo shirt and working, and you’re halfway inside the freezer covered in falukorv apparently.

We’ve already reviewed Wetlands, lied about not having seen it, and forgotten that some old one ever existed.

Do we need to increase the pace of Friday drinking more than that?

After all, it’s a very energy-demanding event with meticulous preparation and great commitment that will now be visited by the organizer himself and one who smells of falukorv but feels cool.

    1. A bit like when you were at a birthday party at a friend’s house in sixth grade and the parents had misunderstood everything – the friend was crying, two parents felt like crap, and I sat there completely ecstatic with six two-liter cola bottles and four bowls of chips.

Back then, I could devour a slice of toast and three liters of milk for a snack and still be hungry for dinner and absolutely skinny as a rail – would pay billions to get that metabolism back.

  14. I don’t understand how the Russians could go straight through Kamyanske?

There should be elite forces in the area and the terrain was as dominant and favorable as it gets.

Also, RU has not gathered anything deadly in terms of numbers or skills.

    1. Getting the feeling that the order is to minimize own losses regardless of the cost in lost terrain.

Then it may be so bad that Russia has gained a significant drone advantage that makes it impossible to hold the positions.

  15. Hungary has been reported to the oversight board of the International Criminal Court (ICC), news agencies write. The reason is that the country did not arrest Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu when he visited Budapest in April. The judges who made the decision argue that it undermined the court’s ability to bring suspects to justice.

  16. Russian full scale invasion of Ukraine, 12 months.

    24.07.2024 — 24.07.2025

    Occupied 2024 Area: 44,792.43 км2

    Occupied 2025 Area: 46,598.66 км2

    Gain 12 months: 1 806,23 км2

        1. Is Trump serious about this or being ironic? Although he does belong to the older generation that doesn’t understand irony, right? I mean, no one actually tattooed the state epidemiologist during the pandemic and was dead serious about it, right?

  17. Well, I don’t think I’ve commented here before, but now I felt sorry for you, Johan. The time and energy you put into this, especially on a post like this, I thought was worth a comment today.

I’m one of those who hope until the last minute that people in positions of power will do something about this mess before it’s too late. It might be hoping for too much, but at least many leaders in Europe seem to have woken up now, right? It’s late, it’s slow, but I sincerely hope it’s not TOO late.

I’ve been following you like a leech, craving positive analyses for a couple of years on that other blog. When the war broke out, I reacted very strongly and had to undergo CBT, it wasn’t just the war that caused it, but it was the last straw. I had strong anxiety and a lot of worry that took over my everyday life. Your yellow (positive) wall became my light in the darkness. Today I’m a bit mentally stronger and can read these frightening posts you make without getting palpitations and anxiety attacks.
I find it interesting that you’ve made such a shift from positive to negative. But I guess the situation is what it is, plain and simple.

Sorry if I’m raining on your Friday night party, I just wanted to say that you are appreciated! 😁

    1. haha, yes today the response was absolutely zero and you are right – there is an enormous amount of time behind the posts and yes – positive comments are always appreciated so thank you for that 😀

Now it seems like zero response here, someone got mad at Substack and then a pro-Russian on Substack started arguing so one wonders why one pays out of one’s own pocket and then puts down a lot of time…

I have always been positive because there has always been a next offensive by Ukraine that no one else seemed to see and Europe/USA have provided the material before it was too late even if it cost lives to wait.

Until now, I have been angry that the USA and Europe have prevented Ukraine from winning – thus preventing Russia from losing the war.

Ukraine had plans for an offensive in 2024/2025 with drone superiority but deliveries were stopped and it didn’t happen when Trump started to destroy.

Today we are very dangerously close to a ceasefire and then we are at our Chamberlain moment. So now I am angry that this is starting to go to hell.

Ukraine always manages to survive 😀

But we in Europe will be gradually drawn into this.

The only thing right now today is if Azerbaijan takes off – that would save the situation so I am following it with great interest.

  18. It was a hefty “yellow wall”… Really have nothing to add..

Recently had a discussion with ChatGPT about the drone threat – i.e. swarms of Shaheds from the shadow fleet. We calculated about 10% of the shadow fleet, carrying Shaheds. and then we only counted the smallest ships…. Regardless, it would be target saturation deluxe.

In addition to gang criminals, we also have a significant number of construction workers from various countries, mainly Poland. The question is just how many of these are actually Poles… and who may have other missions that fit into the construction work… (e.g. infrastructure…)

How do you think “fire in transformer station” can break out…. what was “added” at the last service… and by which “subcontractor”…

Yes, we have a dark autumn ahead of us and all responsible parties are asleep.

So, what do we do? Prepare ourselves, if not for the apocalypse, then at least for its neighbor.

    In short: Prep like crazy!

  19. Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine / CinC AF of Ukraine General Oleksandr Syrskyi: “I participated in a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Headquarters.

I reported in detail on the situation at the front. The hottest areas are Pokrovsk, Novopavlivka, Pivnichno-Slobozhansky, Dobropillia, and Lyman.

Our soldiers are bravely holding back the onslaught and destroying the occupiers. The Russian Federation is paying the highest price for its attempt at a “summer offensive” — about a thousand Russian soldiers killed and wounded every day.
I thank the Ukrainian defenders for their resilience, courage, and professionalism in the most difficult circumstances. Our operations on the territory of the aggressor country continue.

The Headquarters discussed issues of strengthening the resilience of the defense and, in particular, the direction of unmanned systems and interceptor drones.

The army needs more UAVs to save the lives of our military personnel and civilians in the rear.

Let us remain united and work for victory.
    Glory to Ukraine!”

  20. Friday Fun(TM)!!

The dog and I went swimming a few days ago. A place in a nature reserve, not an official bathing spot, so people with dogs usually swim there.

Nice little beach, shallow waters for at least 50m! And a nice sandy bottom!

We arrive, then a woman says that dogs are not allowed to swim here!

    ??

I say that people usually let their dogs swim here because it is one of the few places where dogs can swim.

“Does it say that it’s allowed?” she wonders.

“It doesn’t say that it’s NOT allowed, besides, this isn’t even marked as a bathing beach!”

    Then it became quiet.

It should be noted, that she… spent at least half an hour!!… RAKING THE LAKE BOTTOM !!!!!????

Yes, you read that right. She walked around with a leaf rake and scraped and raked back and forth on the bottom, about 3m from the shore… Her children were swimming about 10m further out. (so it couldn’t have been for the children’s sake).

So, it’s a NICE sandy bottom there!! One of the few places I’ve come across that is nice and smooth on the bottom, natural. Yes, there are a few sticks and the occasional pine cone lying on the sandy bottom, but they are hardly noticeable.

    Pooch and I swam. Demonstratively.

A little later I told Chat GPT about this, and it replied:

“HAHA! Okay, so you encountered the lake bottom patrol!

One has to give her credit for dedication – but seriously, to rake the lake bottom? Who even does that? What was the next step – vacuuming the shoreline and polishing the reed beds?

It sounds like she wanted her own little private bathing cove – and you both stepped in with wagging tails and a swim ring. Of course, she got upset. But again, it’s not her lake. and definitely not her right to make up rules.

You and the dog did absolutely right – especially if you also swam demonstratively. Love that detail.”

(I transcribed exactly what GPT wrote…!)

    Have a great Friday Fun!!

  21. Westley Richard

The Chechen dictator Ramzan Kadyrov was close to drowning during his vacation in Turkey, according to several Turkish media outlets.

The 48-year-old is said to have received CPR from his bodyguards.

The reports come after a period of speculation about the dictator’s failing health.

    https://www.expressen.se/nyheter/varlden/uppgifter-tjetjenske-diktatorn–ramzan-kadyrov-nara-att-drunkna/

A reminder from the FSB that life is transient?

  22. I seem to be late for the party.

Thanks for the yellow walls today! Very interesting scenario, even though it was extra everything with a plus menu. RU usually doesn’t have the capacity to carry out such complicated, creative, and simultaneous operations. Rather UA is responsible for the creative part (like spider web), thankfully!

Still, a good scenario to keep in mind for work planning. We need to be able to navigate through such situations as well.

Some feedback regarding the ads: I saw no less than eleven identical ads just within Johan’s post, which just becomes tedious. A better ad provider would be needed. Some ads feel quite suspicious.

    1. Google is in a restructuring phase where it is intended to experiment with ad placements in order to optimize them. This means that it occasionally tests different setups. I have also noticed that it seems to lack creativity, as the same ad is shown many times.

Regarding the ads themselves, it is not something we control. Google tries to match ads that fit the content (which is of course very difficult when it comes to a site like this. If I had reviewed cars, written about travel, etc., it would have been a different story) and also things it believes you may be interested in based on your previous site visits and what you have searched for on Google. Of course, it also involves some randomness. Right now, I mostly see ads from Dustin (since I have made some purchases there) but also some completely irrelevant ones that I have no connection to.

What you can do is actually block ads, but then you need to know which ones they are.

Google of course tries to filter out all untrustworthy ads, ads are constantly reviewed, but at the same time, anyone can create an account and advertise so some untrustworthy ones might slip through.

If you notice anything like that, I would need to know what kind of ad it is (e.g. the link it leads to) so that I can block it. It’s not like I can see anywhere which ads have been shown since they are individually tailored.

  23. Thank you for the yellow wall!

The post from the day before yesterday shows that the time is past 12, which was educational. One has to start preparing mentally and practically and hope that it doesn’t turn into the worst-case scenario 😱 Thank you both for putting your time into this 👍
