The shutdown of Starlink seems to be causing major problems for Russia in the war against Ukraine, writes TT.
“They are like blind kittens,” said a Ukrainian commander to Politico earlier this week.
“Ukraine: Russians ‘like blind kittens’ without Starlink
Russia has used Starlink, manufactured by Elon Musk’s SpaceX, to provide soldiers and drones with internet in the field. After pressure from Ukraine, the company shut down the satellite system for the Russian forces on Wednesday.
Keir Giles, a Russia expert at the think tank Chatham House, however, tells TT that the problems for Russia are likely temporary.
“Of course, this is just part of an ongoing technical power struggle. Soon Russia is likely to find a solution to be able to continue operating.”

“Zelensky: Russia and the USA negotiate huge economic cooperation
Russia and the USA are negotiating economic agreements between the countries worth around twelve trillion dollars, equivalent to over 130 trillion kronor. This is stated by the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky, according to the Washington Post.
Zelensky says that he has seen documents outlining the framework for the Russian-American economic cooperation through the intelligence service. It is said to be known as the Dmitriev package, named after the Russian negotiator Kirill Dmitriev, who is also the head of the Russian investment fund.
According to Zelensky, there are indications that parts of the negotiations concern ‘Ukraine’s sovereignty and security.’
‘We make it clear that Ukraine will not support any potential agreements about us that are concluded without us,’ he says.
Donald Trump has previously highlighted the possibility of business deals between the countries as an incentive for Russia to end the war in Ukraine.”
The EU must go out and declare that this is completely unacceptable and that trade with the USA will be terminated immediately if such an agreement has been signed. Not when it comes into effect, but the day it is signed!
Alternatively, the EU can sell off US bonds on a board, so they can both enjoy being corrupt and lost countries.
Good idea!👍
Yes, no trade with Russia in its current form. At some point, trade with Russia will resume, but it should not happen with its current regime, we have tried that and it did not go so well. All trade as long as Putin’s gang is in power will fund the next war against the West.
Trump is lured into the trap again with promises of trade with Russia, probably involving commodities, including from Ukrainian land, to convince Trump to side with Russia regarding their territorial claims.

“Analysis: The deleted ape video shows that “Peak Trump” may have been surpassed
The fact that Donald Trump chose to delete his highly criticized social media post portraying the Obamas as apes shows that he is not completely immune to criticism after all. This is stated by New York Times’ Erica L Green in an analysis.
“The chaotic reaction from the White House shows that this time they realized that the usual strategy, to laugh it off and move on, would not work,” she writes.
She also mentions that this incident is one in a series where Trump has had to take steps, albeit small ones, backwards, and also refers to the aggressive immigration policy and Greenland.
Australian ABC’s John Lyons is on the same track. He believes that Trump deleting a social media post after criticism was unthinkable a year ago.
“It seems that the president can be influenced. ‘Peak Trump’ may have been surpassed,” he writes.
The Guardian’s Robert Tait writes that the video is a new low, and despite the White House’s attempts at damage control, it is likely to raise new questions about Trump’s mental health and suitability as president.”
OT, Hamas
That they do not give up..
“Hamas will not allow itself to be disarmed or permit a foreign power to interfere in Gaza’s governance. This is according to Khaled Meshal, a high-ranking member of the organization designated as a terrorist group, as reported by AFP.
– As long as the occupation continues, there will be resistance. Resistance is the people’s right, he says.
Disarmament of the group is one of the requirements in the second stage of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza. However, Hamas has repeatedly opposed disarmament, but has indicated willingness to hand over weapons to a governing Palestinian authority in the future.”
Hamas believes that their “struggle” has been successful so far, as hostility towards Israel in the world has increased. They are certainly prepared to sacrifice tens of thousands of Palestinians.

MXT above about the US negotiating over Ukraine’s head – that was clear a while ago.
Then Europe laid down again.
And that the US has now initiated sharp situations to get what they want – economic warfare, Venezuela, Iran, and what is yet to come.
The US has behaved extremely poorly regarding Ukraine, but Europe has not dared to resist.
