Hope Zelensky gets there first

Zelensky is taking a long weekend to try to handle this.

The best thing would be if both stayed and they drew a line over the debacle 😀

At least the optics turned out bad

Hmm, you would think that Zelensky could have foreseen the reactions that firing Fedorov would cause.

Now also firing Syrsky, I don’t think makes things better, it gives the impression that Zelensky doesn’t know what he is doing.

Fedorov and Syrsky were not pulling in the same direction, and in war it is very important that everyone pulls in the same direction, or at least solves their problems internally or puts them aside until the war is over. The troops should not have to doubt their leadership. 

At the same time, I think Fedorov should have accepted the position as advisor, that would have calmed the people. It is better to be “promoted sideways” when possible than to step down.
