⚔️ 225th Separate Mechanized Brigade liberated Kindrativka in Sumy region: Russians lost 3 battalions and 1 commander
According to our sources, the 225th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade has completed its mop-up and consolidation operations in Kindrativka. This is the second village liberated by the unit in Sumy region.
☠️ During the liberation of both villages, the enemy suffered heavy losses, namely Battalion 40 of the 40th Motorized Rifle Brigade, Battalion 155 of the 155th Motorized Rifle Brigade, and MSB 30 of the 30th Motorized Rifle Brigade. Incidentally, the commander of the latter was also eliminated.
Enemy infantry remained surrounded in the village for a long time, so we had to wait to flush them out. This success was made possible primarily by the unique tactics and approaches used by the 225th Separate Mechanized Brigade. Once again, the unit has demonstrated that we have people who are capable of conducting high-quality offensive operations.

According to three individuals familiar with the matter, Musk instructed a senior SpaceX engineer to shut down coverage in the area near Beryslav, where Ukrainian forces were attempting to encircle Russian troops.
The move reportedly caused front-line units to lose connectivity, disabling drones and disrupting artillery coordination. A Ukrainian military source told Reuters that the outage directly contributed to the failure of the encirclement operation.

Just as everyone suspected from the beginning.
Is this the event where Johan No.1 usually talks about Ukraine being forced by the West to let the Russians out? Or is it another event?
Wasn’t that an exfiltration initiated by Biden where the Russians had to march out of Kherson over the bridges, while the Ukrainian military had to stand and watch? Perhaps later than the incident above?

Really good! 👍
SvD has an article today about the Nordic countries’ potential ability to resist Russia militarily. Unfortunately, almost zero mention of drone weapons.
Johan’s column yesterday was horrifying. Is our defense ready to combat a surprisingly massive drone attack? What is the military doing to be able to face that threat? It’s hard not to wonder with Johan if there isn’t a possibility that Russia could, in a surprising first strike, render large parts of the military completely incapacitated. Not to mention civil defense.
It would probably require completely different countermeasures than the ones we have today. Or rather, it is probably the case that we have countermeasures, but not in a sufficient volume. No matter how effective they may be, they will not be enough in terms of volume. Simply put, extreme volumes (of relatively inexpensive) countermeasures are needed. But what do I know. Perhaps the military has quietly prepared itself.
I am afraid that we are not prepared to face nocturnal attacks with 500-1000 drones or more. Many will achieve their goals. Fortunately, they do not have such a large explosive impact and may be best suited for civilian targets. I don’t think it will be enough to paralyze our defense, but they will of course be a major problem.
Above all – all the turmoil Russia creates prevents anyone from sending aid to Ukraine and the Baltics, and they are falling
Yes, drone swarms from the shadow fleet are probably a nightmare scenario I’ve had for a while. It would cause chaos in no time, and almost impossible to find out in advance. Critical infrastructure and military installations should have constant surveillance to be protected in some way, but knowing the Russians, civilians would probably be the main target.
Isn’t this what the armed forces and Saab, among others, should focus on today? (Maybe they are!?)
Yes, of course they are looking at it. Some solutions have also been released, but then it takes time to produce in larger quantities (and first someone has to decide to place an order).
We should have started production yesterday!
Maybe outdated tomorrow, but such remedies are needed immediately.
Yes, there has been a lot that has taken too long.
The ammunition production, for example, should have started in 2022. If Ukraine had received a proper supply of 155mm when the Russians began to have to reduce their usage, it would probably have looked very different in 2023.
The best thing for us is still to ensure that Russia is defeated in Ukraine, but unfortunately it looks quite bleak, and the risk is of course that Putin will take it as a sign that we will not dare to do anything even if he moves towards a NATO country.

No towards the western part with Kyiv/Lviv/Odessa. Haven’t these cities been involved in almost all attacks before?
By and large, it has probably been so. Wondering if they have something going on, could almost believe that it is some form of prevention since this is quite close to the front.
🇷🇺🇪🇪 BIG | Russia has deployed additional electronic warfare systems near the Estonian border.
Estonia’s Minister of the Interior stated that the systems were installed near the town of Kingisepp in Russia’s Leningrad Oblast, just 20 kilometers from the border.
He recalled that Russia is already using electronic warfare (EW) to disable drones, but these systems can also cause “serious disruptions to GPS signals, which are essential for aviation and maritime navigation.”
Estonia considers these actions a security threat and plans to discuss the situation with NATO partners.

The northernmost bulge in northern Luhansk – the one east of oskil
about to fall
Northernmost 😀
I see that the penny has started to drop for many serious open source intelligence analysts that Europe is underestimated by Russia in drone warfare – we have a self-image that unfortunately does not match reality. It’s not the images on the production lines but what we see in action – hundreds of drones per day…
Do you remember the US Army tweet I posted about them just starting to test drone-dropped wing grenades on a course in Ukraine – so far behind is the USA too.
RU is using 4000 FPV drones per day.
Now, the problem that will soon arise and the decision Europe must make on its own because Trump will come up with some excuse, everyone probably understands that by now.
– If Russia attacks the Baltics, big or small, are we prepared to respond with force?
– If Ukraine continues to retreat, are we prepared to send troops to Ukraine?
Or
– When Russia generously offers peace after being in the Baltics, do we accept the olive branch because we are lagging behind in the drone and robot weapons curve?
– When Russia promises to stop at the main defense line in Ukraine and peace talks begin – do we agree to that?
We have been warning about the first scenario for a year now, that China would meet with supplies in the summer of 2025, and you can probably guess Europe’s reaction and how this will actually turn out – we have followed this long enough.
What Europe has actually managed to understand is that a European brigade in defense, overwhelmed by 4000 FPV drones per day, FAB, bustling gunfire, and artillery, will not last long because they have zero training for this new warfare and +80% of combat losses are taken by these weapons now.
You know as well as I do what a Dante’s inferno it is for units on the front lines on both sides, and I wonder if, for example, our defense forces still use 20 tents in training so that we are also serving the targets on a silver platter.
Europe cannot afford to show the whole world a Poland 1939 where they stand and whip with spears on the tanks and die.
That’s why there are no brigades in the Baltics because it’s the end of July and Russia has already started to move here.
The decision Russia is struggling with right now is – how far can they go into the Baltics without NATO intervening.
But it’s great that the EU is at some DAMN trade meeting in China and eating Peking duck when China has just rebuilt all of Russia’s war production and supplies them with all the components and raw materials they need 😡
-The area east of the Oskil River in Kupiansk is now lost and in the worst case scenario, the defense may not make it out – let’s hope for a good outcome.
-In Pokrovsk, the open source intelligence analysts I trust believe that RU is in the southern part of the city, the suburbs. Then the pincer movement starts to look somewhat threatening.
-Kamyanske is simply not holding, and UA is retreating, 3km more and they can start rolling up the southern front from behind.
You can see, just like I can, that there will be no counterattacks and that UA is giving up terrain, and things are moving faster.
There were quite a few who criticized me when I suggested that the main defense line, built outside of what Putin wants, is politically motivated – it’s starting to look like that now, and I was right again.
The problem is that this is a pause for Putin but Europe thinks it’s the end of the war – I’m starting to get really tired of this now. Following this train wreck in real-time is not fun, Europe is washing away all the sacrifices that have been made.
Reintroduce the civil defense and task the Tax Agency with flat-taxing all weapons smuggling to Russia from Europe, and that will probably end it on the same day because it’s Europe’s most effective bloodhound 😡
I think the West is blinded by its own superiority. For the same reason, the threat from China is not taken seriously. People think we are better than them, they have no real innovation, etc. In fact, they have a free market with cutthroat competition that drives extremely cheap production. And actually also creativity, but always with the caveat that the product also becomes cheap. In principle, raw material cost plus a few percent margin. In the West, everything becomes very expensive because it is so regulated in the defense industry that the barrier to entry becomes too high and one easily gets tangled up in the jungle of patents.
Yes, I also suspect that we have a bit too high thoughts about ourselves.
Then the state in China probably pumps quite a lot of money into the industry as well, from a global perspective, free market might not be. Working conditions, salaries, and the environment are also not something they have cared much about before, even though it seems to have changed, especially when it comes to high-tech and research, partly to retain competence but actually also to recruit from abroad.
They have a truly free market, compared to the West. No labor laws, intellectual property, environmental laws, etc. Just 100% win or disappear by producing the cheapest product. Imagine having a robot war with such an opponent. The consolation is that China is not a long-term friend of Russia.
Does pride come before a fall?
There will be many sour apples to bite into to keep us at the top. It probably takes a lot with a 10-hour workday, scrapped environmental laws, patent regulations, salary reductions, etc.
“NATO has warned Poland that Russia could be ready for military confrontation with European Union countries as early as 2027, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said.”
Well, that was 2030 a year ago – were they right then?
Are they right now?
Or maybe you are right!

Anthony Aguilar, retired officer from the American special forces, states that he witnessed violations of the laws of war in Gaza. “I witnessed war crimes in Gaza. Throughout my career, I have never seen such a level of brutality,” he tells the BBC. He was employed during the year at the criticized Israeli-American aid organization Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), but left after witnessing “brutality and indiscriminate violence against unarmed civilians.”

Thailand has used two Jas 39 Gripens to attack Cambodia, according to the Thai newspaper The Nation. Thailand has eleven fighter jets from the Swedish Jas Gripen and is in the midst of negotiations to buy more from Saab. The company has told SVT that they “naturally hope for a peaceful resolution to the conflict as soon as possible.”
Does anyone know who the good and evil sides are in that conflict?
Cambodia began what I had managed to understand 😀
Ok, just thought they were blaming each other.🤷🏻♂️
Seems to be an ancient conflict about land areas and old temples that both sides consider to be theirs but also a cultural issue, apparently they disagree on who invented Thai boxing.
Their cultures are so similar that it strangely seems to lead to conflict because both sides believe that the culture is theirs.
Difficult to point out anyone as more evil or good than the other, it doesn’t even seem possible to get an answer on who started the war (there was some shooting incidents that occurred almost simultaneously in several places along the border).
(Wouldn’t surprise me if it was Russia who initiated it. 🤔)
thaiboxing 😳
So, should it be decided with Thai boxing and not fighter jets?
😄👍
In recent decades, a new trend has been discernible among affluent Americans: More and more are becoming Democrats.
One reason for the shift is that individuals with higher education are more likely to vote for the Democrats, while the opposite applies to the Republicans. More and more millionaires are now actively opposing Donald Trump’s tax policy, despite it benefiting their group the most, because they believe it harms the country as a whole.
The Democrats manage to achieve the feat of getting even worse approval ratings than before, despite the fact that trust in Trump has also declined since he took office.
“The proportion of American voters with a negative view of the Democrats is the highest since 1990, according to a poll from the Wall Street Journal. 63 percent have an unfavorable view of the party, while 33 percent have a positive view.”
[Link to the original article](https://omni.se/a/vgqn4l)
Not surprising considering how bad they are. They need to recruit a really good leader who brews a new party from scratch where new leaders emerge from the party ranks.
USA is gone as an airbag – better to accept it
If one thinks that critical race theory, open borders, defund the police, identity politics, and that trans women should have the right to change in women’s changing rooms and compete in women’s sports are great, of course, there will be a problem attracting large parts of the voters. If, furthermore, one believes that the big problem in the world is that there are horrible people who do not share these nice opinions (“basket of deplorables”), then of course there will be a problem winning elections. So one day they find themselves with Donald Trump as the election winner and do not understand what happened. They have only been for everything that is right and nice. (Ideally, they would probably like to be able to choose the people instead of the other way around.)
😂😂
Most of that is just Trump’s core supporters within MAGA who are concerned because they have learned to hate everything that is woke (many of them are racists and prefer to see women at home by the stove) but they would never vote for the Democrats anyway.
All they said was that they would raise taxes for the richest, but raising taxes is taboo in the US regardless of who is affected.
The problem is probably not the issues themselves, but that they don’t have much more to offer. They have not been able to explain how they will fix the US economy and how they will improve the situation and the economy for ordinary people.
Trump had some simple messages, for example, he promised that tariffs would bring in so much money that it would solve all economic problems. A simple message that was easy to grasp. The fact that he failed to explain how it would happen but only promised how beautiful it would be was enough for most people.
Tax cuts were another point (but it was clear that it was the richest who would benefit).
Pointing out immigrants as a common enemy as the cause of almost all evil is unfortunately also a tactic that seems to resonate nowadays, not only in the USA. It’s so nice when everything is someone else’s fault.
The Democrats tried to win by talking about how bad it would be with Trump. A strategy similar to what the Social Democrats have tried.
It almost worked all the way, it wasn’t like Trump won a landslide victory directly but it will probably take more in the next election.
Yes, of course there are (many) Trump supporters who vote for him no matter what lies and nonsense he utters. But I believe that among those who still cast their vote for him, there are many who would have voted democratically if they had perceived that there was a good alternative.
I don’t know if the fact that one believes a state, a society, needs borders implies that immigrants are the cause of almost all evil. “a tactic that apparently works nowadays, not only in the USA”
Of course, there is an alternative that Sweden could welcome all who want to come here, but that would have very significant consequences.
Here is what Paul Krugman himself has said:
“open immigration can’t exist with a strong social safety net; if you’re going to assure healthcare and a decent income to everyone, you can’t make that offer global”
And that is, in my opinion, obvious. So one must probably choose or at least find some balance. Which then must be open to discussion.

“Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly promised that 18-year-olds will not be sent to fight in Ukraine. However, a BBC Russian investigation shows that at least 245 soldiers of that age have been killed in the war since a law change was made in 2023. The law change allows high school students to skip conscription and directly become contract employees in the army. Offers of high bonuses and patriotic propaganda have attracted many young people, especially in poorer parts of Russia.”
A collective resounding “we have been naive” from Europe soon?
Followed by a “but Putin promised, right”?
The victims on the altar of incompetence are Ukraine and the children of the Baltics.
Test of NATO. Latest test 9/11. American 🇺🇸 soil.
Yesterday, the soldiers from the United Iron Brigade organized a real meat grinder for the Moskvarna. Russia got to feel the full firepower from armored vehicles and the fury of the stormtroopers firsthand.
Somewhere in the Kharkiv region, our aerial reconnaissance discovered an enemy concentration in a large strip of forest. Around 5 o’clock in the morning, the landing was attacked at close range by a tank and two BTR-4 “Bucephalus” with soldiers. At the same time, another tank was “pouring” grenades from a distance.
The enemy was prepared – they had laid minefields – and put up resistance. The tank and armored personnel carrier drove over unknown explosive charges, but it went without serious problems. Additionally, a Russian FPV drone flew into the tank, but the protective net saved it.
After the “armor” had functioned, the stormtroopers entered and completed the enemy’s clearance.

Not having a plan when everyone else does, and moreover is against you, feels a bit risky.
