Russian losses. For quite some time, we have often seen KWIA below 1000 and very few tanks or other armored vehicles, today there were also unusually few artillery pieces. We’ll see if this is something that will continue. It wouldn’t actually surprise me, partly because drones are being used to an increasing extent and partly because they must eventually start running out.
- 920 KWIA
- 1 Tank
- 4 AFVs
- 10 Artillery systems
- 1 MLRS
- 199 UAVs
- 11 Cruise missiles
- 122 Vehicles & Fuel tanks

AFU also reports:
- 153 battles
- 62 air strikes
- 28 robots
- 124 KAB
- 5,754 artillery shells, including 51 MLRS
- 3,927 kamikaze drones
The number of artillery shells is about the same level as it has been for a long time, maybe even slightly higher. Based on that, it seems that the Russians do not have any shortage.

Strange priority to post the loss streak on Cornupikka 1 hour before opening the thread here.
Hmmm..
Admit that my order for posting is:
1a. Twitter, I once started by posting the loss reports there and was also the first at that time, since it could sometimes take up to 2 hours before AFU posted them there. The routine remains to start there to get it out quickly, and those posts are probably one of the reasons why I gained quite a few followers.
1b. Then I post on Bluesky and Cornucopia. The reason Cornucopia comes before beor is due to a few different things, the posts here are scheduled for 7 when Johan has posted. By then, the lottery numbers are already out, and I wait until the publication before I comment with the loss report. Then, when I have created the post on Twitter, it is very easy to copy and paste it on both Bluesky and Cornu. This happens in 98% of cases via mobile. This is the very first thing I do in the morning, before doing anything else like showering and making morning coffee (if the report has been released).
(Of course, I could post this in yesterday’s thread, but is there anyone reading it? I never see any activity in yesterday’s threads in the morning, so I have assumed that they are abandoned.)
1c. If it’s my turn to post today’s post, I wait to do it until I’m at the computer.
If I’m off like now, I turn on the computer while waiting for the coffee; if I’m working, it’s the first thing I do when I get to the office (I don’t start up the computer at home just to post the post when I’m going to sit at a computer 10 minutes later).
2 So you are completely right about the order of the posts, but that thing about an hour you must have misunderstood. I was late today, slept poorly last night because of the heat.
I never posted the report on Cornu today because Justanothernickname was far ahead of me (he already posted at 06:07).
However, I did post the link to my Bluesky post, and I did that at 07:39:07
Today’s post here was posted at 07:56, i.e., 17 minutes later than on Cornu and not an hour.
Considering that it was already released at 06:04 by AFU, I don’t think it matters that much
Nowadays, AFU often posts the report very early (before I get up) but also with a wide time range.
For those who feel it’s important to access it as soon as possible, I recommend going directly to the source and refreshing the page a few times per minute until it’s out: https://www.facebook.com/GeneralStaff.ua
Do you still write or read on Cornu 🧐
I’ll do it.
Cornucopia is after all a place where everyone (except for a few Russian trolls) supports Ukraine and where a lot of interesting things are written about the subject, even though the debate climate when approaching politics or other topics is partly one-sided and partly limited.
The comment field is interesting there, especially at night with Erik 🤴🏼 and FiN 🌌.
I’ve been reading on cornu since autumn 22, but never commented, afraid of creating a shitstorm, if I express myself unclearly, linguistically incorrectly, or if I can be interpreted as left or right, or linking to the wrong page. A bit too much know-it-all attitude, and low tolerance in my opinion.
Well, enough complaining, but it’s a good source of information, and guys like Erik14, FiN, and Mxt are doing a great job.
I have long had this site, Bluesky and Substack as the only stop and this is where you write.
I check Cornu sometime during the month and there is never anything of interest there, the comment section is a bit like the yellow pages were full of ads.
Haha. There is something to it. Everyone at Cornu should think the same.
“❗️At night, UAVs attacked a substation that supplies power to the railway in the village of 🇷🇺Oktyabrsky, Volgograd region. As a result of the attack, a number of trains in the region are delayed. In total, the Russians claim that 99 UAVs were shot down overnight in a number of regions.”

I thought it started well, then I could click up the bold ad two notches to make it invisible. Not so bad. Now there are ads between the posts too. Starting to get a little annoying, but I get it if you at least want to make zero results on the blog.
We seem to be able to achieve break-even in terms of direct costs, the challenge lies in all the time invested, yet this is something we are passionate about.
I quote my mother-in-law when it comes to getting paid for handicrafts: “anything over five kronor per hour is amazingly good.” Succeeding in getting paid well for something you are passionate about is a privilege, probably also applies to you. I hope you continue, as I truly appreciate the tone here compared to the echo chamber at Cornu.
Well, of course, there are many who believe they can live off their hobby but then you have to be really lucky! I also have no problem with sitting here on vacation, or evenings and weekends, the problem is that I can’t stay away from here during my working hours so it has a negative impact on my own business, but I have only myself to blame! 😄
Yes, we have quite mixed opinions here and everything is allowed (that is not illegal).
I feel a bit like a ferret among all the cats sometimes, maybe I should stay more neutral, not sure if what I write leads to some maybe keeping quiet. On the other hand, it might end up like Cornu, but the opposite otherwise. 🤔
Forgot:
Nice to hear that it is appreciated, very much worth it!
I don’t think you should reduce the number of posts where you clash with people here. I think it balances things out. As a conservative social liberal (think of the earlier right-wing within the People’s Party/Liberals), I think there is a bias towards conservatism here on johanno1.se in the comment field and would like to see more people who dare to engage in discussions (as long as I don’t have to, hypocrite for sure). The support for Ukraine is evident, not least in the parliament, spanning from right to left, but it could be interesting to have different perspectives on issues.
👍
There is usually an arrow in the top and bottom ads, if you click on it they will minimize, but they have the unpleasant property of reappearing as soon as you reload the page (e.g. when posting a comment).
Google is trying to optimize the ads themselves and needs a few weeks for that, so I hope you can hold out a little longer so we can see where it ends.
During that time, Google is experimenting with different layouts, so sometimes you get ads in the middle of the content and sometimes you don’t.
But I agree, there are a lot of ads. If it doesn’t improve in the future, there will be manual settings.
Question, do you usually start the day by going through yesterday’s post or do you wait until a new post has arrived, it’s usually out around 7?
I was thinking if there’s any point in me posting the Russian losses there first?
It will be a bit of a “double post” if I later post it again in a new post.
Sometimes I first go to yesterday’s thread if there is a topic that I want to see more comments on. But 9 times out of 10, it’s the new thread right away.
Same for me then.
I checked the previous comments in the old thread, but I feel that it usually falls asleep around 11 PM, so I’ve stopped doing that. If you manage to recruit a night shift worker 😉, it could change.
Johan is in a different time zone, he should be able to take the night shift. 😄
Karl must well handle the acquisition work with at least the little finger of his left hand.
I thought his job was all about masking? 😄
I’ve been so busy during the vacation that I’ve barely had time to read, but normally I probably go through yesterday’s first before checking out today’s.
Hm.. I wonder what the security reasons were for? Ukrainian naval drones? Or have they disrupted their own GPS system so they can’t navigate?

Off-Topic, heatwave in Europe
Greece and several other countries struggling with temperatures above 40 degrees are now overshadowed by Turkey, where they set a new national record of 50.5 degrees. (Johan, is it okay to start complaining and talking about a disaster when it reaches over 50 degrees?)
“The wildfires that have plagued Turkey for weeks are now threatening the country’s fourth largest city, Bursa, writes AP. Overnight, fires in the mountainous areas around the city have spread rapidly, coloring the night sky red. 1,765 people have been evacuated from villages outside Bursa, and 1,100 firefighters are battling the flames.”
https://omni.se/turkiets-fjarde-storsta-stad-hotas-av-skogsbrander/a/rPq93K
Sicily is also affected by several fires:
“380 fires in Sicily – Jens fled in the middle of the night
Swedish Jens, 41, and his companions had to hastily leave the holiday home they had rented in Sicily during Saturday night. He tells Aftonbladet that they took turns keeping watch during the night. Eventually, the wind picked up and ash began to rain.
– Then the fire started to rush down the mountainside, he says.”
https://omni.se/380-brander-pa-sicilien-jens-flydde-fran-semesterhus-elden-forsade-ner/a/zAq9X4
The situation is still not under control in Greece:
“The Czech Republic and Italy are sending planes and firefighters to Greece to assist with the major wildfires, writes AFP. Fires are raging in the Peloponnese west of Athens and on the islands of Evia and Kythera.
– Today is expected to be a difficult day with very high fire risk almost everywhere, says the spokesperson for the fire department, Vassilis Vathrakogiannis.”

Wow, here I am suffering in 25-30 degrees and can’t get anything done. Globally, June was quite cool, but I think July will be record hot. Even in the eastern USA, there are warnings for high temperatures and high “wet bulb temp,” meaning high humidity + temperature, which prevents the body from cooling down through evaporation, causing overheating and eventually death. https://www.weather.gov/
I usually don’t have a problem with heat, but now not much gets done here either when it creeps over 27-28.
Today it’s a bit windy so I probably have to mow the lawn before the cats get lost in it on their way home.
Heat records have been broken everywhere, and it has been hot not only in Europe, but I actually haven’t kept a close eye on how it has been globally.

Gaza
Nice that they are finally starting to allow aid shipments in. Let’s hope it’s enough.
Israel blames the UN but now Israel has decided to allow the emergency aid in, so how could it have been the UN’s fault from the beginning?
“Trucks with emergency aid have started rolling towards Gaza from the Egyptian side, according to the state-affiliated Egyptian TV channel Al Qahera. The deliveries are to be brought in through the border crossing of Karam Abu Salem in southern Gaza. During the night, Israel’s military has also dropped emergency aid over northern Gaza from the air.
This comes after increased international pressure on Israel and accusations of forced mass starvation. Israel has denied responsibility and blamed the UN, which has placed the entire blame on Israel.” https://omni.se/lastbilar-pa-egyptiska-sidan-rullar-mot-gaza/a/4BPr3G
Omni again. Omni – being the MSM medium it is (owned by Schibsted) hates everything Trump.
You are quite quick to spread Hamas propaganda….
I (who have a medical background) never cease to be amazed at how images of supposedly starving children are obviously children with neurological and metabolic diseases (besides being always presented by overzealous adults for some reason. In some cases, they are clearly time travelers as they appear in photos from Syria a decade earlier…).
But, of course, if you lack the background knowledge and are easily influenced… And we must admit, the propaganda is massive.
Yes, there is some food shortage in Gaza.
But the culprits start with an H.

There is something to what you’re writing.
USA – Trump
70% believe that the tax cuts will benefit the wealthy, yet 42% are in favor of the budget package. However, it does not only contain tax cuts, it would also remove nearly 900 billion USD for healthcare and aid to the poorest.
“Americans believe that Donald Trump’s massive tax package, called big, beautiful bill, benefits wealthy households and large companies while disadvantaging the poor and will increase the budget deficit.
Close to 70 percent of those surveyed stated that the package will make it easier for the rich, while only about 7 percent stated that it would instead be tough for the wealthiest group.
In total, 52 percent stated that they were against the budget, compared to 42 percent who stated that they were in favor of it.”

“For the first time since the mid-1990s, a direct flight route between Moscow and North Korean Pyongyang will be opened, according to Russian authorities. According to Reuters, the flights are a way to strengthen the ties between the countries, which have become increasingly closer following the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022.”
Thailand – Cambodia
The USA on one side and China on the other. 🤔
“Thailand’s military capability is assessed as clearly superior to Cambodia’s, which, together with Bangkok’s strong ties to Washington, could be an advantage in the conflict between the countries, writes Brad Lendon in an analysis on CNN.
Cambodia, on the other hand, has strong ties to China, but is completely dependent on support from Beijing to provide its soldiers with modern equipment. The cooperation between the countries is expected to “reach new levels and further develop” during the year, writes Lendon.”
https://omni.se/analyser-personlig-maktkamp-ligger-bakom-striderna-thailand-har-fordel/a/bmV4oe
Hmm, I wonder how much China is involved in fueling these minor conflicts around the world. Feels a bit like China has taken over Russia’s role as a counterbalance to the USA.
China has significantly greater potential for world domination than the Soviet Union had in its time. The Soviet Union, like Russia today, had only power and energy as leverage, while China has a much more sophisticated approach to gaining influence.
Yes, one can wonder. They certainly weave themselves into everything with their projects, one can imagine that they also gain strong political influence with bribes, etc.
I don’t think China has any desire to trigger a conflict between Cambodia and Thailand, at least not right now. China’s style is more about making itself so big and powerful in an area that no one dares to challenge it. Cambodia is light years weaker than Thailand on all fronts, simply the wrong place to stir up a proxy dispute.
Now I finally managed to get an ad that actually has some relevance to what we are writing about here. It was from Airolit who manufactures drones.
“Reportedly, the video shows the aftermath of drone strikes on a railway station in Volgograd region”
Maybe it’s not entirely true that they are fulfilling Article 5 (since no NATO country has been militarily attacked), but they are definitely protecting Europe!
“🇺🇦 Ukraine is already fulfilling the role of NATO and defending Europe without Article 5, — Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany Makeyev”

“Auterion is sending 33,000 AI drone strike kits to Ukraine under a Pentagon deal—10x larger than previous deliveries. Their Skynode systems turn drones into jam-proof, AI-powered weapons that can track moving targets from 1km away.”

EU visit to China was a failure
Not met, had to take a bus to the hotel, and China was generally unpleasant at the meeting.
expected but what was the EU doing there in the first place, we are at war with China
China is showing who’s in charge. Just like Trump, they don’t want a united Europe, it’s a pole they don’t want in the “multipolar world”.
Unfortunately, we have allowed ourselves to become too dependent on China, just like the USA has also become dependent, and as Trump is trying to get out of in his clumsy way.
Right now, Europe is well on its way to being pushed back into the trap we were in during the Cold War.
A threat from Russia and dependence on the USA that had us in a stranglehold.
I am ashamed 😡
4000 FPV drones per day requires its organization, that’s about what Ukraine uses as well?
124FAB is way too much – we thought that when UA received F-16s it would decrease towards zero but that has clearly not happened. Unfortunately, 124X30 is almost 4000 so RU is back with FAB after a significant decline.
Ukraine lacks LV, we know that.
They apparently also lack 155mm grenades and most likely HIMARS as well – this is because Europe now feels that we must arm ourselves, Russia has succeeded with that trick.
Looking at what Ukraine has received, it’s mostly financial support in the past year.
Yet their defense industry is short of 65 billion USD.
The artillery was on par with RU, not sure about UA’s grenade use today.
EW weapons are no longer as effective.
Russian indirect fire is now on par with periods when it was at its worst because drone weapons have increased so much and FAB can maintain its high level.
+80% of losses are caused by these weapons.
If you look at the loss list, it has been decreasing since the turn of the year, all bars are dropping.
At the same time, Russia is advancing in areas that have been frozen since 2022.
Ukraine fights like lions for every meter, but my question that is becoming increasingly urgent is – what is Europe’s plan?
To fight against Trump, China, Russia, North Korea, Iran, and a workforce from Africa entirely on our own and be expected to win without support is simply not realistic.
And if Europe has no plan, then we have Trump, China, Russia, and Africa who have a plan against us.
China has done what we have not done with Ukraine – built up a functioning arms industry and provided all the materials needed for Russia so that the production lines are running red-hot.
To me, it is clear that Russia is starting to gain the upper hand in drone weapons now thanks to China, which probably means that the artillery is getting a breather and apparently the FAB traps are doing quite well.
On top of this, it is evident that Europe and the USA have now, in 2025, prevented Ukraine from fighting things that hurt Russia, while Russia has no such constraints at all – says Sirsky, there is probably no reason to distrust him, and on May 9th they were not allowed to cut Putin (DAMN what a bad decision by Europe 😐)
If we were to scratch the surface now, I am pretty sure that some of the materials needed for Europe’s arms industry are starting to run out in the stockpiles – this is kept quiet about, but that’s my guess.
If China, through Russia, can outpace us in arming – how do you think it looks inside China in terms of drones, robots, etc.?
What do you think they have built up in terms of stockpiles themselves that they will export to the countries on their side around the world?
Do you think China will soon arm up the axis of evil with functional weapons?
When it comes to materials, everything is psychological operations, but in the war between Pakistan and India, there were rumors that the Chinese J10 performed well – does anyone know if that’s true?
You surely remember whack-a-mole where you hit down the enemy’s stacks and raise your own.
UA had complete drone dominance up until sometime after New Year and now RU is catching up.
Eventually, there will be interceptor drones that work for a year and you can rest assured that China is ahead of us there – they are already at high-value targets in Russia, that’s my guess.
So, Russian drone dominance might be gone within a year.
Do you think this means that RU has to strike now before the border in the Baltics has a Surovikin line and their drone dominance is gone?
Ukraine didn’t strike when they had the chance – who will stop Russia?
When the drone weapon is neutralized with anti-drones.
What will dominate then?
Are we back to traditional capabilities?
Who is building the most tanks right now?
Yes, China will probably not miss the opportunity to fine-tune its drones and their control now that they can be tested in real conditions.
A beta test.
The question is whether the drone weapon will be neutralized? It might end up like with aircraft where everyone still considers the USA unbeatable, but those who have more and better aircraft as well as drones will of course have a great advantage. That’s probably where everyone is in a tough spot compared to China.
We can’t count on the USA, so we probably have to keep our fingers crossed that China sees it as a better strategy to play the long game by investing money in projects where they see they can gain influence and then eventually essentially own the countries they have entered into (when it turns out they can’t handle the repayments).
They might not be able to resist Taiwan, or parts of Russia if it collapses.
China will go to war when they believe they can get away with it – they are already a belligerent party in the UA war and have been able to instigate Cambodia – Thailand and India – Pakistan without consequences.
The EU went there instead for a cozy meeting.
The likelihood of them getting away with Taiwan increases with each passing week.
It has slowly escalated over the past six months, the risk of it spiraling out of control completely and us witnessing yet another humanitarian catastrophe.
Speaking of China, they are apparently the largest foreign investor in the DRC. The USA, on the other hand, is trying to counter China and support the government. Whether China is supporting the rebels or simply has an economic stranglehold on the country is more uncertain. I guess they are not benefiting from the unrest, but on the other hand, they probably want to avoid competing with the USA.
“At least 38 people have been shot dead in an attack on a church in eastern Congo-Kinshasa, writes AP referring to local sources. An ISIS-backed rebel group is blamed for the attack.”
https://omni.se/a/JbapwX
How much are you reading about this in the media right now?
Or are you only reading about Palestine and that “Russia is soon economically collapsed.”
Palestine is a Russian influence operation so the world will forget the UA war – October 7th was Russian.
And that all highly paid experts do not see what is now unfolding is absolutely remarkable.
Even the European Parliament, prime ministers, defense ministers, the Chief of Defense and their staff of experts.
Worrying is just the beginning but good times have given us weak leaders except for Finland.
Is it enough that we read you? 👍 😉
No, of course, there is not much written about it in the mainstream media and not so many official statements, although one might understand it at the same time. If we try, for example, to negotiate with China, we may not want to simultaneously convey the message that we are at war with them.
However, I hope that the Ukraine war has prompted some strategists within the EU to think more deeply about various scenarios. Whether they can go much further than laying out different alternative plans and getting our politicians to increase defense budgets is anyone’s guess.
Politicians also do not want to say much even if they may understand the risks. The peace advocates will immediately accuse them of warmongering and of making the children feel bad. The latter, of course, they have a point in.
Now, I don’t believe in all your worst-case scenarios, but it is still what one needs to prepare for, after all.
Why are we trying to negotiate with China – isn’t that the big question that should be discussed?
What are the worst-case scenarios?
-Ukraine collapses.
What do you see right now?
-Russia attacks the Baltics
The probability of that happening is higher than them not doing it.
-China goes to war.
So, they have built huge Mullberry ports, do you need more ideas about what they are planning?
-Global escalation continues
Thailand – Cambodia, October 7, Pakistan – India. Global escalation is ongoing all the time.
-Russia goes to war with Europe
The amount of open sabotage in Europe suggests that, doesn’t it.
Yes, I know I am pretty much alone in pushing this, but that doesn’t mean I am wrong.
I have been remarkably right in this war.
It is crystal clear that we are heading towards significantly worse times and 2025 was the year this needed to be decided.
Ukraine had the upper hand until early spring or something, don’t know exactly.
The posts of the last week are probably the most important ones written and even though the response was zero, they are in line with what Europe must rise to.
Which Europe does not do – instead, we are still hindering Ukraine.
So the “we must hope that”, they don’t do that – sorry but that’s how it is 😀
Unfortunately, we are allocating resources to renovate the ice itself instead of doing everything we can for Ukraine, and of course, that can backfire.
But for Europe’s part, it is crucial if China decides to enter the war on Russia’s side, if they don’t, Russia is not a major threat.
It would probably be enough for Poland to get a feeling and go all-in for Russia to have to turn back home again.
I don’t think China will do that, other than providing material, and that will not be enough.
China does not have enough to gain from it. What has been their winning strategy and made them start making money? Efficient production at low cost where they can still sell with good profit. A war would cost them immensely, and a war against Europe would destroy one of their better customers (with the risk that even the USA actually also becomes an active enemy).
If there is anything they would gain from, it is to take Russia to ensure continued access to cheap raw materials and agricultural products. A war-torn Europe has nothing they need.
However, maybe they will take the opportunity to take Taiwan themselves (and thereby also ensure helping Russia by ensuring that the USA gets busy with other things).
China sent an intern to receive the EU delegation with von der Leyen and pointed to the bus that took them to the hotel.
Then there were some lower-ranking officials who smirked at the meeting that ended in the morning.
What does that tell you?
Or May 9th?
We are already past the point you think we can prevent from reaching, and if we don’t see it already yesterday, we are in trouble.
So, is it already queued?
Oops, yes, all your worst-case scenarios can certainly come true, but I still find it a bit difficult to see that China would want to bite the hand that feeds.
The middle class in China has of course grown, but the domestic market alone can hardly cover the loss if they go all in to destroy Europe.
However, they surely want to keep the European countries on an economic leash, so they can control them through mutual trade. It’s more difficult for them if we are united, they want us to compete with each other for trade with China.
The prestige project Taiwan could bring China to its knees, if they don’t have a deal with Trump. Even if they were to launch a preparatory drone raid, I believe the Chinese losses would be very significant before the troops are deployed. Moreover, a swarm of drones from the sea should be disruptable, if it’s fiber drones, the mothership can be sunk. If the USA is still on Taiwan’s side, I think it’s almost impossible.
Furthermore, in the event of a Taiwan attack, China would see its trade with civilized countries shrink significantly.
Or Trump, forgot about him.
Do you mostly read about Trump’s nonsense or about China declaring war on Europe and us being at war with Russia.
And that Ukraine is retreating on all fronts?
Or is it mostly Zelensky’s anti-corruption law?
China will probably be able to cope despite the EU and the USA trying to cut them off economically because they will sell weapons to the entire BRICS from now on.
Nicely played by China – they hacked their way to all our technology and have produced their own models of our latest military technology.
Now they have reached a level where they have the expertise to improve the technology themselves through research.
And they have the raw materials they need as well as the production capacity.
Europe lacks everything.
The USA has it but is far behind on the curve.
Russia has shown us that large stockpiles of weapons from the previous war provide zero protection, right?
What does Europe rely on – well, a USA with large stockpiles of weapons from the previous war.
But the important thing is Palestine, that the government is Nazi, save the wetlands or Trump.
After all, one has 24 hours and a brain that can only juggle so many balls in the air at the same time.
The Russians already understood during the Cold War how to fill that space with everything except what is important.
Then they make those who want to defend their countries unwanted – it was quite a long time ago since our defense forces had high status among the broad masses and “liking uniforms and shooting range” does not make you desirable on Tinder.
“kill the red ones” probably falls under incitement to hatred against ethnic groups today and the entire coastal ranger company ends up in jail 😀
So you don’t think that the Israel/Palestine conflict is anything other than noise that the Russians are fooling us with, something we shouldn’t care about? A conflict where tens of thousands have already died and where probably just as many will die?
It’s not like we’re sending our military there or giving them weapons, we’re just trying to put a stop to it and bring in peacekeeping forces. I think we can afford that.
The majority of those who get involved and run around waving Palestinian flags wouldn’t care about Ukraine, Russia, or China anyway, even if that war hadn’t started.
Europe can either focus on Trump and Palestine or on Russia winning in Ukraine.
What do you hear most about right now?
What is most important for us in Europe?
Politicians are surprisingly easy to influence today as we no longer have the organization we had to restrain Russia when it was the Soviet Union.
It seems like citizens don’t care about Ukraine but instead prioritize Palestine and Trump.
And yes, the Palestinian conflict was essentially created by the Soviet Union and Arafat was a Soviet asset. Every time things started to calm down, the Soviet Union initiated a new war.
Just like the 7th of October which was Russia.
During the Cold War, environmental and Palestinian movements were controlled by the Soviet Union – is there reason to believe they are not today?
One doesn’t need to be naive, right, but with that said – have I ever said we shouldn’t care?
Now that it’s Sunday, I mostly see a lot of sports news. I wonder if it’s also Russia’s fault for making us not think about anything else.
Since you claim that the Soviet Union would “own” the environmental movement, feel free to squeeze out some evidence for that conspiracy theory before you repeat it all the time.
Russia has of course pushed propaganda in various ways and surely bribed a few, but the environmental movement against fossil fuels and nuclear power comes from the USA and is not something Russia has come up with or started.
There are of course a lot of rumors and suspicions that various organizations have been financed by the Russians, but to my knowledge, it has never been proven.
Fossil fuels are a real threat and nuclear power is unfortunately feared by many because there have been some accidents.
During the Cold War, they did it.
Now they are doing it, is the parliament okay as a source?
https://www.riksdagen.se/sv/dokument-och-lagar/dokument/skriftlig-fraga/rysk-finansiering-av-klimat-och-miljororelsen_h9111278/
But it’s not the parliament that has in any way published it as a fact. The link only goes to the parliament because Björn Söder asked a question there referring to “the French political scientist Dominique Reynié”. If anything, it is Reynié who is the source.
If Russia, China, and Iran own the environmental movement, I do not know, but they act exactly as these countries want.
Comes as a post but I think it’s time to be a bit clearer about where we are heading because right now it looks quite dark.
I see two possible outcomes – that – somewhere rises up but the worse it goes for Ukraine, the less likely.
That Ukraine sends some brigades to the Baltics but when they are under this pressure on the fronts, probably not.
Europe will not send brigades to the Baltics before Zapad 25 and they will not go in and actively support Ukraine.
I have already written about my suspicion that it is already settled that Ukraine will retreat to its new defense line and then there will be a ceasefire.
If this is Europe’s game plan, we have burned ourselves for the next 70 years and will become the USA’s bitch again, which the USA probably wants.
The Interceptor drones with AI seem to be fire-and-forget?
Already today, Ukraine has tested them and the West has sent some for testing in Ukraine.
Do you think maybe China has sent a couple of tens of thousands that are located near high-value targets in Russia, where a group has a 2-second alert to launch some of those?
If they work as well as the West and Ukraine say they will, they will work for Russia too.
Not entirely sure that Russia/China have managed to keep up with the development of that type of drones (Ukraine has been driven to find countermeasures against Shaheds) but of course it’s only a matter of months until they have something similar.
The Russians were the ones who started with fiber optic cable, took a few months and then Ukraine had the equivalent.
Then China will be able to churn out large quantities (if Russia pays).
I believe so, after all, China has a couple of the top 10 drone companies in the world.

EU hinders instead of helps, let’s hope that Zelenskyy’s new approach is sufficient for them to back down on this idiotic decision.
“The EU is withholding 1.5 billion euros, over 16.5 billion Swedish kronor, in support to Ukraine after the controversy surrounding the country’s anti-corruption law, which has been judged to be a step towards autocracy, reports the New York Times. The money will be withheld from planned payments to Ukraine, which are made conditionally on implementing certain reforms in a democratic direction. However, the decision is not final and may be changed if certain criteria are met. Among other things, the EU wants to see changes in decentralization and the appointment of judges to the highest anti-corruption court.”
https://omni.se/a/lwqQqe
🤣🤣🤣 – this is a joke.
I wrote the other day that the EU should be very careful not to increase the pressure on Zelensky, which they have now done…
Yes, many have warned about it, but here we are now. I think they will back down, but it’s as silly as it can be.
How can Hungary be allowed to stay?
If we’re unlucky, GRU will succeed with its operation
😎💥 Repelling a massive mechanized attack in the Siversk direction by forces from the 54th Motorized Rifle Brigade and the 81st Airborne Rifle Brigade.
Mexhanized is interesting, isn’t it?
Well, sometimes one gets the idea that they are like dinosaurs, extinct or at least obsolete.

I have added a survey about ZAPAD 2025 to see what you think will happen.
It wasn’t me who voted 200 times 😶
🧐
Oh, I just had to check the result but only three people voted.. 😄
(I haven’t voted either once or two hundred times.)
Gaza
“The Swedish government welcomes the UK’s proposal to create a coalition of countries to support Gaza, writes Expressen. Keir Starmer’s proposal is similar to the “coalition of the willing” that exists today for Ukraine. Starmer argues that a new international coalition is needed behind a plan to end the suffering in Gaza, both in the short and long term.”

If Russia, China, and Iran own the environmental movement, I do not know, but they act exactly as these countries want.
Now you are doing the overinterpretation that always occurs, a bit like when someone in the government says we want to crack down on Islamists and the opposition says “they said all immigrants”.
Or when Israel says that criticism of them is anti-Semitism.
Russia pulls the strings to steer in a direction that is favorable to them.
Shut down electricity production is good for them.
Greenpeace selling “clean air-gas” certificates that were actually Russian dirty gas – also good for Russia.
Have you ever heard environmental movements that want to phase out fossil fuels and nuclear power protesting wildly in the streets against the Russian gas that replaced it?
Or against Nordstream 1-2, was there a riot in Stockholm city against it?
Or that half of Gotland together with eastern Balticum is a nature reserve that must not be fortified militarily in any way?
Or that we should restore wetlands but subsidies are only given if it is agricultural land that is restored.
I am unsure of what I have misinterpreted. What I believe is that money or other forms of bribes have acted as a starter motor in the climate hysteria. It is now largely driven by emotionally controlled individuals and groups who are convinced that they are doing the right thing. Some, such as Russia, China, Iran, and others, probably see these as useful idiots. Of course, there are a multitude of direct and indirect decision-makers who are in the service of what I must say are friendly states.
This means that resources from what are hostile states may decrease. We are being eaten up by parts of our own population.
Getting these people, who are largely controlled by emotions, to give up their beliefs and become more pragmatic is difficult. I once tried offering beer when Jehovah’s Witnesses came to visit, but it didn’t work.
I do not know how we will address the above, but a good start would be to change the narrative regarding climate, but then the media must also change.
Yes, I agree with that.
No to nuclear power was probably the dumbest. It benefits everyone else. If nuclear power hadn’t been shut down, it would surely have developed too.
No to oil, I think. It’s true in itself but it would have worked with nuclear power still in place.
Over 400 reactors in the world and two accidents. It could just as well have been zero.
Without Chernobyl and Fukushima, we wouldn’t be here.
Japp – the vote above fully supports what I’m saying, the world has spoken 👍
Did you know that in 2024, the EU granted half a million Russians from Russia visas 🤣🤣
Well done! 👍
Can’t we recruit them for the military, police, and our security service as well?
Spain has given Huawei access to their security-classified information so almost like that 👍
MXT, you complained about the environmental movement and that there is no evidence that Russia “owns” them, is the Swedish Parliament a source for you that Russia is involved there and influencing?
Now, the counter-fire will probably be that it was the SD who asked the question, but they are pro-Russian, right?
Maybe it was a bad example because it might have been a psyops 🤣🤣
😂😂😂
Voted for Ki+Ry going all in.
May seem illogical, but being illogical is their signature…
MXT believed that China would severely damage its trade and that no civilized countries would want to have anything more to do with them.
The problem is that we think Western and democratic.
China’s profit would be quite large…e.g. the whole of Ukraine. With its technology, weapon factories, natural resources, and other assets. Probably even Russia since they are in a position where they would hardly be able to put up much resistance. Furthermore, the Western world is so dependent on Chinese products that trade would hardly decrease. Additionally, China trades with BRICS.
So… unlikely? Yes – from a Western perspective. But from China’s perspective, no.
Over the years, China has seen that the West is weak in action. They see that military equipment is being shipped to Ukraine AND not being replaced quickly enough. They have an advantage in that Ukraine and the West are war-weary – a kind of mental exhaustion. It is part of China’s planning for “Made in China 2050” with the milestone “Made in China 2030”.
China is playing the long game, with the entire Western world.
And, I could be wrong.
Russia has already gone all in.
On May 9th, China showed what they will do.
Now China showed that they have built up Russia’s war material production.
What are they going to use the Mulberry harbors for?
A better example – where are the environmental movements’ demonstrations and protests against Khakovka, the war in Ukraine from an environmental perspective, the shadow fleet that is environmentally hazardous, Russian nuclear weapons in the Baltic Sea, and China which accounts for 30% of the world’s emissions and releases the most plastic into the oceans?
Did the EU give up against the USA?
Trump got a good deal from what I understand?
Or do I have the wrong sources 😀
Or was it a first meeting and then we will vote?
Unusually few artillery pieces.
😂 Good luck!

ZAPAD 2025
Belarus announced that they would hold the exercises further from the border because it had created tensions.
Now they have changed their minds, partly because Poland is planning to hold division-level exercises near the border and Lithuania is also planning to move a brigade closer to the border.
So they are not completely unprepared for ZAPAD 2025.
“Belarus signaled on July 23 that it could reverse its earlier decision to move the Zapad-2025 military drills inland, citing what it called escalating military activity by Poland and Lithuania near its borders.
“Poland has announced that it is ready to conduct divisional-scale exercises near our borders near Grodno, the Bialowieza Forest. Lithuania is transferring the Iron Wolf brigade to the Pabrade training ground,” he said.
“Under these conditions, we reserve the right to make a decision and move our individual units during the exercises to work out episodes of an exclusively defensive nature.”
