Ukraine attacked a combined heat and power plant in Rostov during the night – Thousands still without heating in Kyiv as Russia once again attacked the city – Two healthcare workers injured after Russia attacked an ambulance

A major fire has been reported in Rostov and Ukraine is reported to have attacked the Novocherkassk power plant. The power plant is said to be one of the largest in southern Russia. See posts here and here.

Russia launched a wave of drones towards Kiev during the night and several explosions were heard, with reports indicating that at least one building was hit. At the same time, thousands of residents are still without both electricity and heating after previous attacks. The mayor had previously urged residents who have the possibility to leave the city as half of the residences were left without heating after the attacks on January 9. Read more here.

An ambulance in the town of Semenivka (in the Chernihiv region) that was returning from a mission was attacked by Russia, and two paramedics were injured. Russia continues to commit war crimes daily, and the international community seems to have grown tired of reacting and barely even reports on it anymore.

    1. Exactly, if we demand that the world order should be maintained, it needs to be done through the threat of violence. Historically, we have relied on the US’s mandate of violence, but it is no longer reliable. Expressing opinions, making demands, and putting pen to paper will not get us anywhere with our adversaries.
