Update

The Lions
This one is interesting as heck β
Russian sabotage-something vandalized German car owners’ cars and left messages from “Die Grune” (which is the German equivalent of our worst societal disease, the Green Party) to create conflicts out of nothing.
Previously, they painted swastikas on Jewish shops in France, so it’s not a huge leap to guess that they are up to various things to create conflicts, right?
Or this one, drones spying on German bases where UA soldiers were training on Patriots. Possibly from ships and “Russian involvement cannot be ruled out” π€£
Consider this β military drones sweeping over German military bases, RU doesn’t have it easy in any case.
Now, one should avoid domestic politics like a severe virus, but darn, what a coordinated attack on the current government right now π²

Mixing in equal parts anti-racism, anti-Nazism, anti-capitalism, sprinkled with some class hatred, and apparently the cocktail is drinkable β seeing it everywhere right now.
Above all, Bohlin and Ebba are getting some heat, and the tone is really, really high. It won’t be long before Ulf is called a Nazi and should be hanged in every newspaper’s editorial, it seems.
I believe we will have an election before too long, and in the current geopolitical storm, the opposition should somewhat gather under the banners.
After all, there is also a tsunami of Russian influence, so let the current government do its job. Then again, M can hardly be in a government without doing a lot of favors for their pals in the business world, which is EXTREMELY boring, especially in these troubled times π
But the opposition hasn’t done leaps and bounds better β Northvolt is a disgrace, and it was on their watch.
Let the voters decide in the parliamentary election instead of shouting for resignations at the slightest issue now.
One thought I’ve also had about our time’s worst mass murderer, who was clearly mentally ill when you read his story β why didn’t he receive any care, and what would he live on if his social benefits were cut off (without excusing the act in any way, a single mother of three minors was shot to death π).
After all these years abroad in countries low on the welfare scale, I’m quite desensitized, but it doesn’t escape me that the Italians read something strongly negative about Sweden at least two days a week that they want to discuss over lunch, and when Italians think Sweden is chaotic, dysfunctional, and dangerous β then it has gone quite far because we are the ones who should think that about them according to our own self-image.
It’s hard to grasp how many want to score political points or declare themselves victims after this murder β quite incredible actually, Sweden has truly changed.
It’s difficult to determine how much of this is due to Russian subversive activities, but it’s certain that Russian subversive activities lurk in the shadows and amplify conflicts, that we can be absolutely sure of.
In Germany, Islamist attacks conveniently occur before the election, for example, where Afd might gain ground, and they are controlled by Putin.
We don’t see much of national unity, and if we were to have it, M would immediately lower taxes for venture capitalists again, but a bit of maturity is needed in this daycare now.
I’m pondering on the likelihood of Putin being hanged upside down on a lamppost?
There won’t be a popular revolution here, but it’s possible that the new clan leaders who take over would want to make a statement, and what better way than with Putin?
At least I’ve agreed with the liberation fronts that he should be marinated in gasoline.
Something will happen in 2025, you can be sure of that β he won’t survive the year.
Rumors of starting demonstrations in Iran π§

Thought-provoking, I think, two women who were politically left-leaning (according to the tweet) who cheered for Khomeini β today in 2025, Iranian women are probably not very pleased with their actions that they themselves then considered 100% good.

With that, I essentially mean that one should be grateful for what one has, assuming it’s not really bad, and one should be cautious with major changes that one cannot oversee.
No country is perfect, but from someone who has traveled extensively in the world, I can say that the country of Sweden is as close to good as you can get.
Yes, there are better countries when you have money than Sweden, but if you don’t have money in those countries, life is tough.
The only reason people in Sweden want to tear down the current power structures and order is because they are allowed to have those opinions, and I also understand that they hope to come out on top when the struggle is over.
As I said, it’s unclear how much Russia is behind all this, but they are behind a lot of what is currently tearing the West apart.
If they were to turn inwards, calm would settle immediately as different letter agencies would then fight each other.
They also make money from this, big money, so it’s also good business for them.
And it’s a state-prioritized activity.
We should all remember the above before jumping on the next scandal about our politicians, assuming it’s not entirely self-inflicted, such as M repaying the business world.

8 shades of red, only one socialist party, V. That’s Swedish politics. Most are pseudo-socialists who want to keep their spoon in the power pot.
I welcome new parties that think differently, unfortunately Musk has now tarnished our equivalent of DOGE, Medborgerlig Samling’s authority-cleaning. Listen to the podcast “Sista MΓ₯ltiden” where Ilan Sade talks about this, you get angry at how deceived we are.
The Alliance reduced the number from 483 to 367. Then S came and increased them again! A damn sucking of tax money! Exactly what S wants so they can, like Trump, have their fingers in every pie.
When it comes to the tragedy in Γrebro, TV4 has shown that they cannot be trusted considering their sound expert debacle! What a bunch of idiots! Feels like a setup job! By whom? Well, by anyone who doesn’t want calmer election times, there’s only 1.5 years left. They want conflict and they’re looking for racists in every bush.
It’s tragic when people feel so bad that the only way out is death. It’s also selfish considering the suffering for the survivors. And then to take 10 others with you is so damn cowardly that it makes you want to vomit!
Shoot yourself and forget about others!
If he hadn’t been a coward, he would have gone after the gangs shooting and bombing instead of innocent people trying to create a future and do something good for themselves and their surroundings. Now he has put his family and other relatives in a pure hell. Coward!
JodΓ₯, Medborgerlig Samling has plenty of wise thoughts and ideas, but if they don’t soon get a party leader who appears on screen, it’s the end of the road.
WITH (Civil Gathering) has a golden opportunity now when TidΓΆlaget, after the Γrebro massacre, has “gone off the rails” in the gun license issue. – In Stockholm, they don’t realize that guns and hunting are likely the biggest single issue for people outside the big cities.
WITH could potentially snatch a third of the Moderates’ and half of the Sweden Democrats’ active politicians, as well as their voter base, in one go. (When Jomshof is ready to check out from the gang of four, then there will be division.) The question is just what the members of WITH’s party leadership themselves think and if they have the courage, means (finances), and time to go all in. After all, they are part-time politicians.
The current one is definitely a bargain compared to the former one.
(He could only win debates by making the opponent die of boredom.)
I believe much more in initiatives that are not party political, but that influence politics. The best example right now is Jens Nylander. He is number one despite his name. When running a party, 90% of the energy goes to internal conflicts, discussions about statutes, seeking grants, etc. Sweden already has 5-10 parties depending on how you count, and everything MED wants can be picked up by these. It is really not the case that MED has more power than existing parties, otherwise they would not be as boring as they are.
I know I’m naive, but when I work, I always do what’s best for the project, and that’s how I’ve survived for 20 years in an international chaotic environment, and I think our politicians should do the same – do what’s best for Sweden.
But it never happens, rather, a good crisis to drive your own agendas for your small target group is never missed.
Yes, the responsible editor at TV4 Malmer?? will probably have to sweat in the future π
I have no idea about MED, but I know they’ve had some chaos before – are they starting to get organized?
It’s been a long time since we and Europe, and the world, had a “father of the nation” – they come sometimes and not everyone likes them, but they have integrity, are tough-skinned, and have the talent needed to navigate, and when they have the right intentions, it often turns out well.
Putin clearly has it all, but he wants to crash the party instead of becoming Russia’s savior.
Democracy is about arguing, but it should also be about staying within certain boundaries. I gained the right to vote over 20 years ago, in the latest European Parliament election it was the first time I didn’t make it to a polling station, I was tired of the debate focusing on everything but the issues of the European Parliament.
Politics is about choosing the least bad option, as several former politicians have said. That’s how I have chosen a party in various elections, the least bad party that I hope will make the least bad decisions. Then I have to keep fighting on my own to make my own life as little bad or even good as possible. I believe that Trump’s victory says more about the Democrats than about Trump. Crying wolf without evidence doesn’t help, even if he were to turn into a wolf.
War is politics when negotiations have reached a dead end. Russia chose war because they knew that Ukraine would not give in to the demands they made. Nearly three years after Russia’s attempted full-scale invasion, I still see Ukraine’s desire for reduced corruption and to become part of the West as Putin’s main reason (probably he weighed the pros and cons in different scales and acted based on the outcome) for his actions, there was nothing to negotiate about, and still doesn’t seem to be. In war, it’s about “twisting the arm” of your opponent so that they are willing to return to the negotiating table where new conditions now prevail.
We should currently see Trump as a neutral peace broker who listens to both sides. That can change, he could claim that he has tried unconditionally to achieve peace but failed, and then he acts, for example, by sending weapons to Ukraine or lifting sanctions against Russia.
What I don’t think Trump wants is to look like he has been run over, Ukraine can fight until the middle of the year with what they have now, Europe should be able to extend for another half year?? Ukraine is on the rise, twisting Russia’s arm, Trump says peace negotiations could take six months, whether it has to do with him seeing Russia as weak and likely to get a beating or that Ukraine will have a harder time defending itself is unclear, but what is clear is that Europe can choose!
I have heard several people claim that the word religion means “how society is organized”, if nothing else, religion affects how a society organizes itself.
An Orthodox father claimed that their god was the highest god that exists in the direction of truth, love, and beauty, like heaven. But there are other gods, and every angel is a god (and 2000 years ago, every star in the sky was seen as an angel). For example, if you play football and let it take over everything else in life, you worship the football god, but if you are Christian, you play football with love, truth, and beauty as the highest ideals. Perhaps something for Putin to listen to, there is hardly any love, truth, and beauty in war, especially not starting one against what should be a brotherly people.
I should perhaps add that I don’t quite understand religion so don’t be angry with me if I have misinterpreted something π
End of words, thank you if you have managed to read this far!
I like that expression so much that I might just steal it, you have described democracy in an excellent way π
“Democracy is about arguing” – wow, that’s great π€©
What I’m looking for is when the third power sees our problems and steps in to exacerbate them because it’s not a natural law and should, and must, be fought with excessive force and killed spies.
“Politics is about choosing the least bad option” π€©
Are you an old prime minister or something?
I want to remember that there was an investigation after the US presidential election in 2016 by some American security service, they claimed then that there was no evidence that RU had supported any candidate. However, they had acted as an amplifier to make the division in the country appear larger than it was. Exactly what you are getting at.
Similarly, Bo Theutenberg claims that the Soviet Union had someone in various organizations, such as the peace movement, anti-nuclear movement, etc., in Sweden with influence whom they treated to nice dinners, etc. When the Soviet Union then had the need, they could “push a button” to, for example, start protests. With just a few people, they could control larger masses at a cheap price. Advanced control engineering! (or maybe basic?)
Just to borrow, I have probably borrowed the upper quote but don’t remember where π
In a functioning democracy, one must be allowed to argue, but in a civilized manner. To be civilized is to respect others’ opinions and views. In these arguments, things can get a bit heated and sometimes we may go astray, but in democracy, there are mechanisms for correction that prevent us from straying completely off course. The valuable aspect in this is the respect for others’ opinions. It is this respect that opponents of democracy want to destroy. The tools for this are mockery, hatred, and violence. Therefore, we must be vigilant about ourselves. We can argue and exchange opinions, but we must constantly remind ourselves to respect others. If we forget that, we become useful idiots for those who want to destroy our free and democratic societies.

Hear Hear, can one vote for you in the municipal election Bulten?
At present, only the members of the tenant-owner association have the opportunity to vote for me – as the new treasurer during the next fiscal year. Once there, I am considering translating the grand visions into practical application. If it goes well, a candidacy for the municipal election may be considered.
Ha ha, what irony!
You write about how the Russians are conducting an influence operation where they are trying to smear the Greens, and in the same sentence you point out the Green Party as our worst social disease.
They have obviously succeeded!
Previously, the Russians supported the Greens, they got everyone to buy Russian gas. Now they have realized that they must put all their efforts into benefiting the far-right extremists because they are the ones who can help them by putting an end to Europe’s support for Ukraine.
Sometimes we wonder how the Russian population can be so indoctrinated while we ourselves are equally deceived.
Russia must be completely crushed. Not only for Ukraine’s sake but also so that we can get rid of the brain rot that they are behind.
πππ
Correct, and I’m happy to repeat it – Russia must be completely crushed, not least for the sake of the Russian people themselves. This is the terror of the Western world and not something we like to discuss openly, but everyone knows that any upcoming “peace” will be nothing more than a temporary ceasefire before the rumbling starts again. And again…
Because there are no democratic parties or organizations here to rely on afterwards. Only uncles with large fur hats.
A supervised dismantling controlled by the West + ? should be the model. How will this be done? Has it been done before? Can it be compared to the West’s presence in Germany after WW2?
I can hear how unlikely it sounds myself (and I even have a clear mind in February and can’t blame it on a hangover) but at the same time, it is impossible to silently accept this cyclical process with such high costs.
Monitored dismantling controlled by the West? Takes a generation, just over. – In the case of Muscovite, I would guess at least 40 years.
Physical occupation of the Muscovite state with superior military force, let the -stanians fight internally and with each other until they have found their forms, maintain democracy by force until all the old potentates have died and a new generation has grown up and can take over. Clearly. Takes only 40-50 years… Examples, Germany and Japan. If you don’t do it that way, it will go to hell, like Iraq.
Hear Hear, can one vote for you as deputy municipal councilor for Bulten in the municipal election?
I am tricked π³
Hardly, backbiting is one thing, voting in parliament another. The latter is something the individuals concerned must take responsibility for themselves and has nothing to do with blackening someone’s name.
Alrajt sir, lucky you have the keys to the admin account π§
First of all, it’s wrong because I can’t be wrong – just like 25 years ago you couldn’t physically sue the Swedish state because they were flawless.
So, I have government support for the assumption of my own flawlessness.
MP has, on its own merits, achieved a lot but yes, there is Russian influence there for sure.
That doesn’t mean I excuse this black mold of a political party, ever!
I belong to a harassed underclass that has seen neighbors forced to leave their houses and become poor residents with several children in a one-room apartment without a kitchen, thanks to MP π²
What I was aiming for with my post is that conflicts in society can be directly linked to the damn Russians starting them.
Yes – Russia is extremely smart because they control the parties on both the left and right wings, and they also control the Islamists, not to forget.
Yes – they absolutely must be encouraged to turn inwards and all letter agencies must start fighting each other, only then will it end in the West.
Greenpeace’s “Clean Air Gas” or whatever it was called ππ
Do free passes have any hours for these damn scammers cheated me with Brugal as the best rum but they think it’s the best because it’s the cheapest π‘
The fact that the EU is overregulated is indeed correct, but it is also used as an influence operation against us. Anyone who wants to can find equally crazy regulations in the USA. For example, regulations for swimming pools, with rules on accessibility (lift/ramp). It is also true that American healthcare is much more broken than European, which is a result of regulations. Isn’t that more important than plastic caps and not being allowed to throw crushed glass into the sea? Even the risk of being sued, which creates a lot of crazy consequences, can be said to belong to the category of “crazy laws/regulations”. Or to ban abortions – isn’t that worse than banning loose plastic caps? (For the record, I am against abortion, but on a moral level, not legally.)
USA is extreme in some cases compared to the EU. JD Vance didn’t even throw a stone in a glass house, it just went completely wrong.

Thank you for your kind words Jan W.
Yes, MXT has been very generous in building the site, putting up with me, and contributing a lot in the comments section.
We really enjoy the comments section, which was missing on Substack and Bluesky now that I’ve left the other comments section.
The past few days have been busy, and that also motivates writing, which is super fun.
I launch some wild theory in a post, and then in the comments, there are several nuances, and then I can move on.
The idea is also that there should be a for-and-against discussion here, and it went well with Trump actually, which is probably the second most contentious topic after Swedish domestic politics π
If you’re in an echo chamber where everyone has to think the same, there won’t be much reasoning about it all.
Yes, good grades for the comment section if it is possible to discuss different angles on Trump without it leading to affection and rudeness.
Took a look at Cornu and the old media. – Sigh. – One becomes sad over the stupidity, but still glad that Zelensky (according to what is written in the media) is catching on. (Compare Johan’s No.1 question yesterday in the comments about UA now playing US and EU against each other and my answer, late).
So it turned into a long post again, at No.1 and MXT, where one is not rejected or made to look like an idiot.
Zelensky: Trump does not respect the weak. – (EXACTLY that’s the point.)
That was my point earlier. And that the press and various individuals are just standing there bawling like five-year-olds. Trump and Vance are stupid/demented, etc. – The eel is outraged at being sidelined. And… – It doesn’t work to flatter Trump. You just end up being despised. We/Europe must show backbone, rattle the weapons, and show some examples of seriousness (bomb a bit, send military where it’s needed, close the Baltic Sea and handle naval warfare (sink some Russian fleet if necessary)). Show that we can be just as ruthless/devoted (choose) and determined to put real pressure behind the words. That we are ready to curb the Russians now (compare Gudrun P). – Fine diplomacy, dancing, and pirouettes? There’s a round tin in the corner of the room for that…
I haven’t understood why Trump chooses ministers without Washington experience. I thought it was because he wanted puppets. – I no longer think so, but rather this way. He wanted people who respectfully didn’t give a damn about how things “should” be done and instead just made sure it got done, whom he (Trump) could really talk to. – Tough guys (regardless of gender), who don’t care about a bunch of countries (like five-year-olds feeling cheated out of candy) holding onto his coattails, bawling and saying please? (Compare the eel.) Individuals not burdened by unnecessary politeness. Like Vance and Hegseth, current examples.
Should the US and RU negotiate with Ukraine, about Ukraine, in a three-party negotiation? Above Europe’s head?
US perspective: Of course. (and Zelensky/UA get it). No one else has any significant strength (military AND economic) and the EU and others are represented by kindergarten teachers. The negotiation is for those with balls of steel who can really put pressure behind what is said. And then everyone is gathered, with the three parties. Other countries are just rounding marks anyway.
But, I don’t think Trump really wants this at all, but no one else has shown themselves capable of taking the lead. (Five-year-olds calling and saying, please, can’t we stop fighting and start trading gas…?) So if he’s going to solve problems in Europe, it will be a quick fix, for the moment, so he can focus on more important things, like the USA (and China). – Threats of military action? If Trump is going to negotiate, Putin should know that there’s a cruise missile in the Kremlin (so to speak) if he doesn’t behave.
If Europe is going to be involved, then gloves must be thrown, cannons loaded, and balls of steel shown. Primarily by the major countries, but Sweden and Finland could step right into this. It’s about balls and power to influence. – Like ignoring US restrictions and sending JAS with Ascen, Robot 15, artillery, and whatever, and raising the voice. Making a real deal with Ukraine. – Stop being rounding marks, plain and simple.
Middle finger to Trump, who would actually LIKE it. He would think “oh, so it was possible to shake out Vikings from the socialist-blasphemy-hugger-swamp”. (Hegseth or Vance specifically mentioned the verdict against Momika (his partner actually). Anyone who DIDN’T understand the signal? – No balls, just softies…)
Please Uffe and PΓ₯lle, stop being wishy-washy and go Gudrun Persson style. – The whole JEF, more balls and action, now? Hardware and troops in UA, now? Immediate environmental permits and building permits for weapons and ammunition factories? State credit guarantees for the mentioned investments and tax breaks if production is underway within six months? Entire budget items (like aid…) straight to weapons and personnel, so we reach Cold War levels? Partial mobilization?
(The five-year-old says in this corner…)
Yes, here is an open goal for the Nordic countries to show leadership and, on top of that, promote our own agenda within the EU (which doesn’t have to be at the expense of anyone else, note bene).
Here you are not rejected or made to look like an idiot π
I can agree that the EU first does too little too late (but better than Yugoslavia) and then screams at Trump.
There were very many leaders in very many countries in the EU who avoided criticizing Putin too much for over +2 years because they don’t want his subversive activities and assassination squads coming after themselves and their families, but they go hard against Trump because they know there is no risk of personal death there.
Now the EU is starting to sniff around what they should actually be doing π
An example from DN of misinterpretation/spin of Vance, signed by Winiarski (possibly a paywall):
https://www.dn.se/varlden/michael-winiarski-klyftan-mellan-usa-och-europa-borjar-likna-en-avgrund/
The ending is epic, when it is impossible to decipher or understand what Trump and Vance are saying, as Winiarski wants, he writes:
“What Trump is actually saying is that it was Ukraine’s choice to start the war β when it was Russia that launched a massive attack on its neighboring country.”
When it looks like this, all assessment becomes hopeless. In his speech, Vance points out very concrete and valid problems (cancellation of “wrong” opinions, issues with extensive immigration, the democracy becoming illusory, etc.) but what he says does not fit DN’s narrative/opinions/reader’s upbringing. Therefore, the writer must “explain” (distort) so it fits, instead of accurately reproducing and letting the reader assess what could be meant by something that may be ambiguous or unclear.
Vance’s speech does not create a “chasm” “resembling an abyss” unless one gets offended like a five-year-old and misinterprets. The problem is not what Vance says, but what DN writes.
I think you are wrong, in the sense that all the problems of Europe that Vance mentions are trivial compared to the corresponding situation in Russia. And the conference was expected to focus on Russia’s invasion. Vance strains at gnats and swallows camels.
One can compare it to two brothers. Big brother/USA can sometimes give a beating to little brother/EU. But if anyone else messes with little brother, then big brother damn well has to unconditionally stand by little brother’s side and beat the crap out of anyone trying to mess with him. That’s the correct pattern inherited in humans since ancient times.
So, the US administration is slapping us Europeans in the face to make us wake up, stand up, and take our responsibility. Has nothing to do with Russians – except that we should learn to see them as legitimate targets.
?
My point was to try to give examples of why “we” do not understand US (Trump, Vance, etc.). It’s because we, primarily the media, do not want to. None of what Winiarski claimed was true, but rather directly incorrect interpretations filtered through the writer’s value system. If one does not understand what is being said, because it is incomprehensible or generally offensive (a Trump specialty), the media should refrain from “interpreting”.
Instead, what happens is that if the writer does not understand (or does not want to understand), they perceive themselves as free to write whatever they want. Furthermore, “interpretations” are made that are obviously untrue. – One would then think that the reader would consider the writer unreliable and wrong and ignore what they write. However, it has been shown not to be the case.
Time to reclaim Krym π¦ π«
Will come
Trans-actional Trump obviously wants something in return for supporting UA.
According to reports, draft agreements regarding UA’s mineral assets have been sent between Zel & Trump.
Who came up with the carrot?
Zel.
Who is the smartest negotiator?
Zel.
I guess/hope that UA allows the USA in, especially in the east – where Putin is standing in the way. Sorry!
In other parts of UA, I believe Zel clarifies that the EU has already signed agreements regarding the majority of these assets.
Zelensky is so streetsmart that it brings tears to your eyes, almost.
The world-leading post where I launch a new theory about Trump didn’t get finished because it’s too good and requires fine-tuning.
Monday morning, a new theory about Trump will be released that will shake the world’s experts and completely redraw the map – hold on, I’m just saying.
The whole EU, with the help of a bunch of useful idiots, sits on various forums and spews out their emotional mush as if it were the truth. Self-proclaimed experts are the most dangerous thing there is, they only contribute to division and thus hinder the discussion. In other words, they only contribute to what they claim to be against.
Trump is a bulldozer and his administration is a bunch of unconventional guys with loose jaws. But did it help with Mes-Biden and his political equivalent of speech police? Not a damn thing! Then we have to try something else! Everyone knows what the definition of idiocy is, yet they want to continue!
The EU needs to wake up! We must become independent. Cut the umbilical cord.
The talk about the USA leaving NATO (France did too but came back):
If the USA leaves, there will be serious consequences for their arms industry. The EU will not buy from them.
The EU will become a bigger and more powerful international player, does the USA want that?
The USA will be completely deaf and blind towards RU as the EU will not share information unnecessarily.
However, Trump’s statements seem to be setting fire under the EU countries, which is probably the intention. Stop pretending that eternal peace still exists, grow up, change your diaper, and move from words to action, EU!
For the record, the above is my opinion and not a self-proclaimed expert commentary.
Putin must be pleased with the campaign against the USA that is ongoing on social media, sometimes one wonders who they consider to be the biggest villain, Trump who criticizes Europe or Putin who wants to conquer Europe.
It’s time for Europe’s leaders to pull themselves together and examine themselves.
We also need to reform the EU and get the UK back on board. Let go of much of the bureaucracy and regulation that the EU is busy with and focus on free trade, security, and make the EU a strong voice.
If Trump just wants to give a kick in the butt -> Strengthen the defense!
If Trump is crazy and abandons Europe -> Strengthen the defense!
In other words, we don’t need to agree on how to interpret the Trump machinery because the outcome will be similar anyway.
Exactly. We know very well what we should do.
Then the USA wants us to contribute 5% to NATO but not themselves, of course not. Europe has been ignoring the agreement year after year, so now they want Europe to shoulder a bigger burden. It’s called facing the consequences of one’s actions.
Make EU Normal Again
EUNA
I think the line taken in this thread is very reasonable – it’s time for the EU to take responsibility and stand up.
I guess that’s what we’ll see in the future because now it seems like the dam has burst completely.
It has definitely been the USA’s strategy before that the EU should not rise and the USA should keep the lead, but after this debacle, I think there will probably be a positive outcome.
I’ll come back tomorrow morning with my thoughts on this mess – I think we should actually be satisfied.
The difference is that I don’t believe Trump planned for this positive outcome at all, and I also don’t think he’s playing a double game with Xi and Putin π
Exciting. We look forward to No. 1’s interpretation tomorrow!
Tonight, I recommend everyone to read Malin Ekman’s Substack today (google, free post). She has been a correspondent in the USA (Svd or DN) and quit because she wasn’t allowed to report the truth, for those who are wondering.
