Had to be a post about the war in the middle of the training package on the Russian subversive activities that MSB has paid for👍
Ukraine will not give up but just like Finland, they may be forced to negotiate, and that is the assessment I am trying to make whether we are approaching or not, and to warn about it because many politicians in Europe do not seem to understand the cascading effects that will wash over us from the outcome.
Europe and the USA have been trying to force Ukraine into this for several years now but they categorically refuse – at some point it is no longer possible, just like for Finland and Israel.
That was the line Starmer, Macron, and Merz pushed hard for last spring, and also the line Trump pursued but for completely different reasons.
Putin didn’t even feel the need to play along because he thinks things are going so well in the war right now, and if we look at how things are going at the fronts, it’s hard to see that he would have made any major mistakes.
Don’t make the mistake of thinking a ceasefire is good, the day we get a ceasefire then Europe is left holding the whole bag – we’ve been through this before so serious readers probably don’t need a refresher on what happens then with over-fattened AK4s in a mob depot in zero-degree drizzle.
The same betrayal that we have seen for three years with Ukraine, Finland experienced, and Israel, which was always on the brink of defeat in their wars. The difference from them is that this war has lasted over three years and it is uncharted territory historically – no one knows how long a country holds together when subjected to this type of totally high-intensity war without any barriers at all.
No living person today knows how long Ukraine can continue because there are too many variables, for example, if Putin manages to kill Zelensky, it would have major consequences on the spot – and Putin has already tried to do that 10 times. At the same time, Ukraine did not manage to eliminate Putin in a small drone strike on May 9th even though he is a fully legitimate target.
Now I am going to deliver an uncomfortable truth that you do not want to hear –
China is already an active party in this war – they are a belligerent party along with Iran, North Korea, and many countries in Africa that have sent soldiers to Russia’s personnel pool.
These African countries have incidentally stopped selling natural resources to the West and by coincidence, many of the countries have the existing reserves of “rare-earth-metals” found in Africa. The Russian African corps has managed to pinpoint the countries with natural resources that the West will need in the future.
Europe and the USA have allowed Russia to almost crash completely on its own so that they can then rise again with not a little help.
The myth that Russia is improving over time is not true – they needed countless second chances and direct support in the form of leaked attack plans and guarantees, as well as cooperation from the West to avoid a total crash as early as 2023.
On May 9, 2025, China showed the world that they stand by Russia’s side, they stepped out of the shadows and showed their true face, and they did it because they know they will get away with it.
They even managed to get the West not to drone the parade, for example, so they just boosted their self-image a few notches there.
You have all seen the production lines for heavy strategic drones recently.

China has of course built them and I bet there are production lines inside China sending the drones to Russia so they become “made in Russia”.
Russia uses 4000 FPV drones per day (check out MXT statistics as a comment here https://johanno1.se/sv/ukraina-daglig-uppdatering-21-juli-2025/) and they want to try to reach “2000 geran per night” which they won’t do but probably 500 with some nights in between.
They have built smart platforms – for example, pick-ups that fire a drone, and they have the production lines.
Ukraine cannot knock out the factories or platforms – the drones will continue to come.
And now China provides 92% of the components for Russian drones, we were informed of this last week, link on my Bluesky.

Without China, no war, right?
Then China has either stopped buying US government debt or is selling – can’t determine this black magic called economics but it has been said before that it is a reason for the US to go to war for and they have done so before for less, like Libya for example.
Is China already too strong – I don’t know.
What the UK had to do in return for a trade deal, I think everyone knows now 🤣🤣

Japan has officially declared China the biggest threat since they themselves started Pearl Harbor anyway 😀

The Russian drone weapon, both close to the front and strategically, is stunningly much better, larger, and more effective than the West could handle, unfortunately Europe is not ready.
Not in terms of soldiers, tanks, and fighter jets but in sabotage, murder, subversive activities, drone warfare, and robots.
We are hopelessly behind in that aspect and China has built up Russia’s capabilities which also have firsthand information about the 2025 war since they have already made all the mistakes.
Ukraine probably has a defense force that exceeds Europe’s combined standing at least in terms of ground troops and armored vehicles, and Ukraine has a resilience and fighting spirit that far exceeds Europe’s.
If Russia were to turn the warfare they unleashed on Ukraine against Europe, what would happen then?
Magyar recently had a longer interview where he basically describes how a few drone groups could knock out most of our fighter jets at the bases on a dark night, did you read that on johanno1.se?
Does it sound completely unreasonable you think but how did it go for the Russian strategic bomber fleet?
Is Europe’s airspace much better protected all over Europe?
Since Europe has done nothing for over +3 years and has not learned anything about war in 2025, Russia with China’s help and their own experiences has gained a strategic advantage that should have been impossible.
The same strategic advantage that Ukraine has over Russia they now have over us.
We have no defense for our civilian sensitive infrastructure and no defense for our high-tech weapons against the Russian drone weapon today.
Forget about the nuclear weapons which are our red line – they will never come 😀
A first strike in Europe against our most important airfields, headquarters, mob depots, power production, and other high-value targets with the drone weapon would yield better results.
Yes, Europe is not ready just as Europe keeps saying all the time but it is not in conventional warfare soldier against soldier but because Russia has been allowed to advance in the drone weapon.
Do you think Russia sees this – yes.
That’s why they are releasing all the information about Geran right now.
Why do you think they want to scare us?
Well, because they have something mischievous in the pipeline pretty soon, one can guess 🧐
Why do you think the top brass in the USA promised to roll over Kaliningrad in Europe in the event of war and placed nuclear weapons in the UK?
I have never bothered to reason about this because I never thought Europe would behave as infantile as we have and mess up the situation in Ukraine, which was in our favor for three years but today the situation is as follows –
Ukraine is retreating on all fronts and is engaged in a serious boxing match with strategic drone warfare where Ukraine is also significantly harmed, of course, even if we don’t discuss it.
Russia has built redundancy during high-intensity offensive and could today carry out a limited attack on the Baltics that they would try to execute precisely under military intervention from Europe.
But they would threaten like madmen with nuclear weapons, of course.
And could have prepared a first strike with drones and robots across all of Europe, and sabotage on a very large scale.
You can believe what you want, but Chinese solar panels have a kill switch, it has already been discovered, and I think the latest blackout was a beta test.
If Russia blows up mob depots, war industry, air bases, LV, and other high-value targets, and kills the elected officials who stand firm against Russia.
And then kills pilots and high-ranking military officials in Europe while power outages spread.
Are we ready for that?
We are not there yet, but we are at the point where China has given Russia a critical capability that works well, which we do not have and cannot yet combat.
The window is probably about a year before we also have anti-drone drones, but right now it looks like this, and this fall we have Zapad 25, and the amount of sabotage in Europe has absolutely skyrocketed, and subversive activities are rampant and war-preparing.

Yes, Europe is absolutely not ready, and it is almost world-leading not to succeed in becoming so in three years – we have had to make an effort to navigate through this.
Spain, Hungary, Serbia, and Slovakia are already lost.
The Baltics are not far from a worst-case scenario.
Moldova and Romania could very well fall politically, and the rest of the Balkans are probably not very difficult to topple politically.
France has internal problems that are quite significant – in Marseille, the city was paralyzed for a week when two different nationalities in gangs/clans went into full-scale war with each other.
Germany is NOT ready, the Netherlands has a pro-Russian government, and so on.
This could very well end just like the last time, with country after country in Europe making peace with Russia and leaving the Baltics and Ukraine to their fate, and a few more countries becoming pro-Russian.
This is probably the worst-case scenario today, but the West continues to sleep despite everything being right in front of us, and the time is 11:58, because that’s what it is now.
The Baltics expect at least a limited attack in the country – Estonia has just remilitarized the peace bridge, and the other two are preparing in haste at the eleventh hour, which was more than irresponsibly late.
Now make the connection that Trump may want a black swan event in Europe so that money flows back to safety in the USA, so we could have a possible motive for the USA – they want to regain the advantage they had over us during the Cold War.
So if Russia rolls out the above, Trump will ensure that maximum economic damage is done, and then we’ll be there…
Well, okay, the worst-case scenario was a bit worse 😀
Anyway, we’ll see during the fall. Right now, Russia has just started another one like in 2015, so we will have to deal with that too. Greece has just introduced an asylum stop, so keep an eye on who starts causing trouble with Greece.
”Hate crimes” are also spreading across Europe, where either some migrant paid by GRU commits a spectacular act of violence, preferably against a female pensioner or child, or a right-wing group runs around with swastikas and hunts immigrants – also on orders from GRU.
Spain, Germany, France, and the UK are currently inundated with this – everything is documented and spread on social media for maximum reinforcement.

I have previously written that it would be a messy summer and, as always, completely right about everything 🧐
-2015 rerun is underway
-left, right, Islamists, gangs, and clans are active.
-sabotage is underway.
If Russia feels that Europe does not dare to challenge their drone weapons, we will move to the next step in escalation before or during Zapad 25.
I think it’s time for Europe to show its teeth, but so far, we haven’t done that directly, not very hopeful.

Russian losses in Ukraine 2025-07-24
SLAVA UKRAINI
The protests in Kiev are real and they reflect the moral clarity of a people defending hard-won democratic values.
But Ukraine’s enemies know how to arm democracy against itself. We must distinguish genuine dissent from staged escalation and ensure that the fingerprints of the FSB are exposed and neutralized before they contaminate the public sphere.
This reveals the fragility of trust in wartime governance: even the right intention can be torpedoed by poor communication and FSB-driven outrage.
Telegram groups linked to Russian narratives pushing misleading content that Zelensky is “the new Yanukovych.”
SBU arrests earlier this year of suspected FSB-linked individuals planning protests or sabotage (especially in Kiev, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhia).
These actors do not need to be the majority. Just 2-3% of a crowd with megaphones, banners, and tactical coordination can change the narrative, trigger police actions, or incite conflicts.
So distrust in institutions, especially during wartime when unity is crucial.
This method worked in:
– Georgia (2008): incited separatist sentiments
– Crimea (2014): used “local militias” that turned out to be Russian special forces
– USA (2016–2021): exploited political and racial divisions through bots and agents
Well said! 👍
Johan No.1, a bit of what I meant in the previous comment. The demonstrations are driven by the people, but the Russians of course exploit it to the fullest for their own purposes.
👍 Yes, this is FSB’s area. Shooting poison arrows among citizens who may have otherwise healthy skepticism turn into something that in the long run disadvantages the citizen and benefits Russia. Such as protests escalating into violence and chaos. Or directing strong but unfounded mistrust towards completely legitimate leaders. Sowing in order to later reap and exploit. Exists throughout the West. Russia is fundamentally built on that. Divide and conquer. Machiavelli?
@MXT. The previous comment could not be published from Edge, had to copy and reload the page and paste it in the reply again and then it was possible to publish. See personal message on your X.
It is important to be vigilant about HOW it is angled in the media.
With the limited insight I have, I understand that there are issues of corruption within the anti-corruption authority (which is a dream scenario for a corrupt official to gain advantages and then try to claim to be above all suspicion!) and they have also needed to clean out a number of Russian assets. (Certainly not something you want there either…)
However, the design of the law was rushed without a thorough analysis of consequences and it CAN be exploited by unscrupulous authorities.
This deserves rightful criticism, not for WHY, but HOW.
Then we have everyone from the foreign minister* to Timbro(!) and of course the press (but when did Aftonbladet last grasp anything?) stirring things up.
Should we then have the same high demands in an emergency situation (war) as in peacetime, or should we solve a problem first and sort out the details later?
Should we put ourselves on high horses?
We have Lööf’s famous high school amnesty….
We have Chat Control, the ultimate proof that politicians of all colors are grossly ignorant and reckless.
We have the panic measures of the Tidö government regarding weapons after Örebro…
NONE OF THIS SOLVED ANY PROBLEM, at best they were ideologically motivated or populist hot air.
So I’m not sure if we should be so smug. If it was us who were occupied, I am convinced that this (and various blatant examples of Swedish corruption – Northvolt? Stegra? SIDA? Forum Civ? SKR? The port in Slite? NS 2? All political appointments that end up at the Government Offices when they have messed up once too often? Authorities full of activists? Clan infiltration in almost all of Södertälje? ABF there? Socialist lotteries? Reinfeldt’s China deals? Let’s not even mention Bildt… Landowner Person? Infiltration within the judiciary and the correctional system…) would be used as evidence that we were indeed corrupt and with various emotionally manipulative narratives, not attacked victims but just as complicit as the Russians – and then amplified and maximally exploited by all malicious forces (Kremlin, Proletären, Fria tider…) in an attempt to change the narrative.
We should be vigilant, but be careful not to start howling with the Putinists (or MAGA). Qui bono?
(The Ministry of Foreign Affairs should also understand this, but as she has shown regarding the OTHER MAJOR conflict right now, she does not – i.e., the officials are in control.)
What I have understood without digging deeper is that we are in a worse position when it comes to handling corruption here.
We also do not have any independent supervisory authorities, we have politically appointed ones who are responsible, etc.
But that’s probably because we think we are so good and don’t have any corruption.
Swedish civil servant exempt from responsibility. In the worst case, relocation. Would be a dream even in Russia (compared to the window).
We should not complain about Ukraine, which was a part of the Soviet Union! They are working hard on the issue compared to Sweden 🫣
Sweden has experienced a decline in its Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) score in recent years, dropping from 89 in 2015 to 80 in 2024
Ukraine’s overall trend remains strongly positive, especially compared to Sweden’s decline.
Ukraine’s continued efforts, such as strengthening anti-corruption courts, publicizing high-level scandals, and even offering whistleblower rewards underscore sustained momentum.
Well written Jari
Honor when it comes from you Johan 🙏
I was surprised and impressed when Israel established air superiority over Iran. Iran is a large country that should at least on paper be equipped with modern air defense. I do not know the state of their air combat forces. Additionally, they do not share a border with each other or with international waters. What I want to get at is how great the West’s chances are of achieving something similar over parts of Russia in a conflict? No side seems to be able to achieve that in UA/Russia.
If NATO + USA were to decide that it was a good idea and be prepared to take some losses, I don’t think there would be any problems. Ukraine does not have the resources required (neither equipment nor probably enough pilots). The Russians’ capability, on the other hand, has been reduced, and they cannot achieve air superiority over Ukraine.
The Russians probably have a lot of AA left and would likely lose some planes, but with all the available capacity within NATO, ranging from reconnaissance planes that can identify radar installations and AA to the ability to strike deep, one could both pre-empt and knock out a lot before even needing to cross the border and then quickly continue to knock out the Russians’ AA. Then it’s open season.
The problem is probably that one would not dare to make such a move before it is absolutely necessary (open war with Russia) for fear that Russia would feel pressured to use nuclear weapons. Such an attack would seriously threaten Russia, and nuclear weapons (the threat) would essentially be their only chance; the risk would be quite high that they would actually attempt to set an example, for example, through tactical nuclear weapons to show that they mean business.
👍 but the nuclear threat is a double-edged sword. The Russian leadership has to consider that such an action will be met with exponentially greater capacity and will destroy for future Russian generations. Doubtful if any Russian leader wants to be remembered in history as responsible for that. At least Putin is concerned about his domestic image and regarding his legacy, he is keen to be perceived as the new tsar who made Russia powerful again. A nuclear attack against the West would have the opposite effect.
Agreed, the chance is low that they would do anything even if they were attacked, the risk is probably higher that Putin, siloviks, and oligarchs would flee the country and settle in some Russia-friendly nation.
They probably have enough money to live comfortably for the rest of their lives.
But considering how fearful we already seem to be of that risk, where we have slowly crossed Russia’s red lines but still don’t dare to go all the way to save Ukraine, I suspect that it would be very difficult to actually dare to attack Russia directly.
It would probably face extra resistance in the USA, where some have long spread scare propaganda about the risk of nuclear weapons and a third world war, all just for helping Ukraine with weapons. Many actually seem to have voted for Trump just because he promised that the USA would stay out of wars they have nothing to do with.
💯
The ability is there but anxiety and fear of Russia put a stop to it. What are the possibilities for the countries in the north (the Baltic states, Finland, Sweden, Poland, Denmark, and Norway) to collectively strike hard against Russian air defense? I imagine that these countries are the ones who will be hardest hit and therefore have the will to act decisively and firmly.
I believe that together in the north + Baltics, we can hold off the Russians if we decide to do so.
Then I really hope that the old man fear will give way if Russia attacks a NATO country.
At the same time, of course, Trump’s attitude that “that doesn’t concern us, we don’t want to get involved, we won’t sacrifice our soldiers” may be shared by a number of countries, but of course I don’t mean the Nordic countries or the Baltics.

OBS! Kyiv Independent has been sharply critical of the changes regarding anti-corruption, so these may be handpicked statements and probably do not reflect the general attitude of all soldiers, but it is still serious if the combatants start losing trust in the country’s leadership.
I suspect that Zelensky will have to find a solution fairly soon before this escalates.
“Several Ukrainian soldiers that Kyiv Independent has spoken to direct harsh criticism towards President Zelensky for the new law that restricts the independence of anti-corruption authorities.
Battalion chief Petro Kuzyk calls it a “fatal mistake” on the government’s part. The Ukrainian democracy is now defended by soldiers who hold their positions despite the shortage of ammunition, rather than politicians who are “trying to score political points,” he says.

Even though it’s not uplifting reading, it’s worth considering. Perhaps Ukraine is doing them a humanitarian service when their drones force them to cancel flights. Maybe saving the lives of many Russians?

Of course, he wants to take advantage of his 50 days to the fullest and maybe he even expects that Trump won’t actually do anything but will postpone it further. Or he uses the meeting as bait to get more time. “Look, we are serious, we want peace otherwise we wouldn’t agree to a meeting.”
So, he gains a little more time.

EU + China = ❤️?
“President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen writes on social media that she had an excellent meeting with China’s President Xi Jinping in Beijing on Thursday morning.
However, she points out that the trade between China and Europe is currently “unbalanced,” and that both sides must make efforts to improve the situation.
China’s Prime Minister Li Qiang sounds more cheerful in a contemporary statement:
– China and the EU have extensive common interests and no fundamental contradictions, he says.”
https://omni.se/kina-efter-mote-med-eu-omfattande-gemensamma-intressen/a/gwqk9q
Sounds good. China is probably wavering between the West and South/East/BRICS. One must be able to sell their goods in the affluent West. One hypothesis could be that China is once again approaching the West after Xi’s approach to BRICS and Russia. Even though it may be a matter of nuances, they are there, and Xi might be on his way out.
Interesting reading! 👍
I have some memory of someone writing that the North Koreans would do everything they could to give up and avoid returning to North Korea, doesn’t seem quite so:
“The ideological commitment of their forces became clear when Ukraine captured two wounded North Korean prisoners in January.
“We were shocked by them. They were bio-robots. They tried to kill themselves by biting their own veins,” Skibitskyi says. When one was asked if he wanted to return home, he replied: “Yes, because I will be treated like a hero. I fought in a modern war.””
When the survival of the whole family is at stake, the choice may not be so difficult, especially when you have grown up without any knowledge of the world.
Yes, you are probably right in both cases.
I guess they have handpicked those who have families back home, and the knowledge they have about the West is probably heavily distorted.

Europe is already at war with Russia, and it’s a new generation of warfare that includes the weaponization of migration, says Ivana Stradner [@ivanastradner], a Research Fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies [@FDD], in a recent interview with TVP World Talks.

Weather
At the end of last week, it was supposed to rain this week from Tuesday afternoon and for the rest of the week. Nice with a bit of Swedish summer I thought.
It has been even sunnier and even warmer, 29 degrees in the shade right now.
Southwest Sweden 26 degrees in the shade. No rain. Hardly any clouds.
👍
Is the Mediterranean climate becoming too much 😀
No, by the Mediterranean they must have around 40 degrees now, right? If one doesn’t follow in your footsteps of course! 😆
Yes, we had 25-30 degrees and windy.
Here it’s a bit warm but you can solve that with air conditioning.
Beer and rum solve all problems 🍻 🥃
South Korea has the technology and the numbers on its side, but that can quickly shift with the help of Russia and China
🩸🩸🩸⚡⚡EU oil sanctions are working. India’s Reliance, a top private refiner processing 600,000 barrels per day, is cutting Russian oil, which made up nearly 50% of its 2025 imports. It’s turning to Abu Dhabi’s Murban crude instead. Meanwhile, BP and PetroChina tankers are now avoiding Nayara refinery, 49% owned by Rosneft. Around 250,000 bpd of diesel and jet fuel exports are at risk. #MakeRussiaPay

I wonder if the FSB and GRU have found a crack in Ukraine to widen?
She who was supposed to detonate the bomb at the café, everything is connected and if demonstrations start where participants begin to die, it can get lively.
I hope not.🙏
Enviza Zvin that never gives up!
Tomorrow there will be a post about case A when it comes to Russian escalation.
A slightly higher level of ambition about testing NATO in a nature reserve in eastern Balticum – you will like that 👍
Fitting now 👍👍👍
In case I get sunstroke and can’t get out of bed tomorrow!
I saw Jari’s post so I put together one myself ✊✊
Thank you for the honor!! Post-it-ive 🫡
Hulk Hogan and Ozzy have both left us 😭
Missing one of them, you have to guess which one!
RIP!
🎸 🎤 🎶
Correct! 👍
I was never really on the Sabbath train. Even though “Paranoid” and “Iron man” have been playing a lot. Maybe I missed something there. Lots of praise now!
I’m crying because I feel old
You mean that without social media you wouldn’t have known any of them, but their deaths made you feel mortal?
Mike doesn’t seem to know which leg to stand on. First, he wants to release the files, then he shuts down the whole thing to avoid releasing the files, and now the files are supposed to be released?
“USA’s Republican speaker Mike Johnson demands “full transparency” regarding the Epstein investigation, he says in a recent interview with CBS News. – Of course, it’s not a bluff, he says, referring to President Trump’s previous wording on the case. Johnson has made a name for himself as a loyal ally to Trump, but like many of the president’s supporters, he has demanded that the Epstein investigation be made public.”

Received approval after they did a find/replace on Trump to Obama/Biden/Clinton
Trump has created a distraction in the USA with Obama and Clinton.
Then has Mike Johnson shut down Congress?
Just waiting for the laptop to reappear again. 😄
Death to the slimegnomes 🔥 ⛽️ ✊
Poorly reported with burning ryzka raff, airports, ammo depots, command centers, and similar now.
No reports on sea drones either.
What’s happening (not) and when will the new ballistic robots strike?
My analysis is that a violent Ukrainian offensive is imminent on all these targets.
Ukraine is gathering and sharpening the knives…

So, that’s how it is. Israel is doing everything they can to avoid famine in Gaza.
It feels warm inside when you understand the humanitarian and moral view of humanity that drives you to create a better world regardless of which prophet you imagine is the best!
(Prophets. It’s the weak rulers’ last attempt to grow a backbone!)
