Ukraine greets “Happy New Year” by once again attacking a refinery and also a terminal!

The refinery in Ilsky, which processes approximately 6.5 million tons per year, was visited yesterday, here is a video. It also seems that Ukraine managed to strike against a terminal in Almetyevsk.

Unfortunately, the Russian terror attacks did not pause, Russia managed to hit important infrastructure in Ukraine. United 24 writes about it here.

Russian losses

KWIA remains above 1000, otherwise nothing special to report other than the fact that the war in Ukraine continues to weaken Russia:

  • 1060 KWIA
  • 7 Tanks
  • 4 AFVs
  • 36 Artillery systems
  • 1 MLRS
  • 769 UAVs
  • 171 Vehicles & fuel tanks

The final tally for 2025 is also presented, where it can be seen that Russia lost over 418,000 soldiers during the past year:

  1. Off-Topic, Switzerland

“Several dozen” have died after an explosion in a bar in the ski resort of Crans-Montana in Switzerland, the police said during a press conference. Around 100 people are injured, the majority of them seriously.

The explosion led to a fire with violent progression during the New Year’s celebrations. …”

“Several dozen people have died in the fire in Crans-Montana, the police said during a press conference. At the same time, over a hundred injured people are being treated.

The victims of the fire disaster in Crans-Montana come from several different countries, according to the rescue services.

Ten helicopters and 40 ambulances are involved in the operation. The majority of the injured are reported to be seriously injured, and the intensive care unit at the local hospital is full.

“Our thoughts are with those who have been injured, in many cases seriously,” said a representative of the local authorities.

The explosion occurred around half past one on New Year’s night. According to the BBC, the bar can accommodate up to 300 people, but it is unclear how many were in the premises when the fire broke out.”

  2. Most Americans are actually not rotten. About 70% actually support Ukraine. Unfortunately, as is the case in most democracies, those who have received the people’s votes do not need to care about what the people think after the election, once they are in power.

    Glory to Robert De Niro!

“❗️Hollywood actor Robert De Niro congratulated Ukraine on the New Year: “With love. Glory to Ukraine!” In his address, on behalf of his family, he wished Ukrainians the long-awaited peace, freedom, and personal safety.”

  3. A second falling and even lower frontal attack line. Usually shifts up and down. New Year’s vodka, or maybe the weather.

        1. I also wish you a Happy New Year. I hope you have celebrated a nice Christmas and a nice New Year.
“Celebrating Christmas” is otherwise a strange expression. As you know, most objects are hoisted up on a boat and celebrated when they are going down, except for the flag which is hoisted up and lowered.
So the phrase “celebrate Christmas” is actually a nautical term that stems from sinking the brought Christmas tree on Christmas Eve into a designated foot on the aft deck with the help of lines over the foremast cleat. When sailors began to come home for Christmas at the beginning of the last century, the expression became widely accepted on land as well, even though nothing is actually celebrated there.
As I said, Happy New Year to all of you!
          Especially everyone in Ukraine.

  4. “At least two drones reportedly hit the North Oil Terminal in Almetyevsk, Tatarstan, a major TATNEFT facility for processing and storing crude from northern oilfields.”

  5. The governor appointed by Russia in the occupied Ukrainian province of Kherson reports that 24 people have been killed and 50 injured after a drone attack on a hotel where a New Year’s celebration was taking place, according to Reuters and Bloomberg.

According to the governor, Ukraine is said to be behind the attack. The news agencies point out that the information has not been confirmed by any independent party or that any evidence has been presented. Ukraine has not commented.

The information comes days after Russia accused Ukraine of launching a drone attack on Vladimir Putin’s summer residence. This has been denied by Ukraine, which believes it is an attempt from the Russian side to undermine peace talks.

  6. How can there be sanctions on a steel shipment from Russia to Israel? Can the EU or possibly the USA intervene in this? Thinking about the seized ship in Finland.

  7. Looks like the CIA has been playing under the covers with Ukraine. Potentially sanctioned by Him.

    CIA made an important discovery

The New York Times reports that a CIA expert has identified a specific coupling component that is very difficult to replace. If the coupling component is bombed, the facility in question may be forced to close for several weeks.
