The single biggest difference would probably occur if we didn’t export whatever it is we are obliged to export?
Can’t our government or our EU politicians clarify that we have 5 times higher electricity bills than a Southern European, so we can’t aim for the same price in the EU?
We get a price cap and someone controls the export tap to make sure we don’t exceed that price?
Because surely a Spaniard or Portuguese isn’t paying 25,000 SEK in electricity bills now in January?

Remove VAT and the tax of 35 öre/kWh and we would probably reach a figure that would help, then the electricity price would be pushed down to something affordable, but consumption would still be kept as low as possible.
Then I would like to add that these are enormous sums involved here, 55 billion apparently equals 0.79 öre.
Flipping the reasoning, the difference between 50 öre and 3 SEK is that the Swedish people pay 165 billion SEK more than two years ago for the same product/electricity usage.
Now it’s probably more than that, but this disaster is not pocket change for the country’s citizens. On top of that, we have to pay dearly for the shutdown of six reactors, it’s not free. Almost brings tears to the eyes, but luckily not, because they would freeze at this indoor temperature.
