Was standing on some machine at the gym yesterday and watched TV4 news, our political representatives are directly statesmanlike, looking seriously into the camera and saying something that calls for reflection – they are the power and the leader at the same time, the statesman and the icon.
Behind closed doors it feels like they’re playing with a slot car track and surfing p@rn. They have failed to understand a context even when it’s written on paper with sentences under 12 words so even a politician should manage the reading comprehension.
Peace in our time – no, but oh what speed on the slot car track today, the funniest Wednesday this year, our great X is running around in circles in the room waving his arms.
Either you want de-escalation and peace in our time or you have to live with a maintained threat level.
Joining NATO is to get protection. Sending weapons to Ukraine is to create security.

Assuming you’re not hiding anything (why would you, everyone else is completely open about everything) there was someone in the thread who would be laughing at me this morning, any laughing emoji will do.
From the Supreme Commander’s statement and the government’s previous statements (advanced weapon systems in line with what Ukraine requests – can be interpreted as plural…) it’s like promising your wife a trip to Mauritius and buying one to the German Baltic coast, or a PS4 for the kids at Christmas and buying Monopoly.
You probably shouldn’t have been surprised but we are now very far down the list of types of weapon systems sent. LV was the new black this spring, then came artillery and combat vehicles/armored personnel carriers.
We have among the world’s best weapon systems and could have done good, saved children, gained higher status in Europe, marketed our weapons for sale and removed the Russian threat we need a defense against.
The disappointment is total, when countries like Portugal manage to send artillery and the country we all love to hate, Germany, sends drone killers and tracked howitzers it’s hard to be proud.
Anyone can send money to soothe their guilty conscience. Nice of the Supreme Commander to communicate clearly so we know where the blocks are placed.
