I don’t quite understand whether the Russians have left the eastern bank of the Dnipro and retreated or not.
There seem to have been small UA raids over the Dnipro and perhaps they have infiltrated SOF deeply as expected, but it is a big step to start transferring maneuver units – which probably hasn’t happened because then we would have seen some footage of it.
The Russian side themselves expect a blow on the Southern front but what are they doing?
There are many rumors: they are building defenses on Crimea, they are pulling back from the eastern bank of the Dnipro, they are reinforcing the southern front.
Why would they reinforce the southern front and at the same time leave the Dnipro undefended – doesn’t even sound reasonable from a Russian perspective.
My guess is that UA is trolling a bit around the Dnipro hoping to draw Russian units there and that the Russians may have been forced to reinforce the southern front, move units up to Luhansk, and lastly my guess is that they have pulled back elite units to have something to hit Kadyrov and the chef with?
There are renewed offensive operations up near Svatove – Kreminna, maybe reconnaissance battles, and high intensity in pre-engagement. Definitely an active front quite soon.

Wing grenade for GRK most often, 82mm?
I never cease to be amazed at how close they can detonate and the soldier still gets away. One would think that the GRK was a decent weapon but even when you lob it half a meter from a Russian in a ditch, they are not always suppressed.
My coffee grounds tell me that soon we will get more powerful ammunition for this. I think a Swedish hand grenade would have caused more damage almost?
Why couldn’t Sweden deliver 30,000 120mm GRK grenades, for example?

Apparently Sweden has a 120mm GRK grenade called Thor which has double the effect of traditional wing grenades and can almost be equated with a 155mm, but for short distances after a quick Google search.
Just imagine if all the hundreds of commercial drones start dropping Thor grenades on Russians in ditches – that would make a difference for that group that always survives as if there had been no trace of them.

I get the feeling that there is a Kherson-style pre-engagement/indirect fire in northern Luhansk now. The intelligence situation must be good then, but we know from NLwartracker how well you can see with commercial satellites, so the all-seeing eye is probably a notch sharper.

Everything I listed that Sweden did not provide is what Ukraine itself has asked for. We know exactly what they need because that is what they themselves have requested in order to be able to chase the Russians out of the ditch.
This government is the guys who come to the party without bringing anything and then steal all the dip.
We get a safe neighborhood completely free of charge and when Ukraine eventually, entirely on its own, has plowed the Russians into the ditch and pushed them across the border – then the guys who steal all the dip will pat each other on the back and let us know that the Swedish cash to the World Food Programme and the porridge eaters was absolutely crucial for the war.
Croatia is donating 14 helicopters to Ukraine, by the way.
Luckily, one can rejoice that the backsides of the Russians are stinging right now; had this come at the same time as Ukraine was heading for defeat, this would have been hard to bear.
