We get lots of emails from the electricity company about reducing electricity consumption. If there is a risk of acute power shortage, there must be reasons for attempts at mandatory measures before carrying out the mandatory measure of shutdown?
For example, that the electricity companies go to everyone with well-priced fixed contracts and ensure that they save as much as the rest of us, maybe not mandatory but informative that shutdown is imminent.
The neighbors have 22 degrees so mostly an attempt to get them to start feeling cold too, they look too satisfied.

Yes, we did say that shutting off is no problem but turning on will be chaos.
I have that experience from a country in Africa, there were always follow-up problems when the electricity was turned on that spread like waves on the water.
Then you have the problem that if the reconnection is too unstable, more than just the circuit breaker can trip in homes?
The phase fuses here have always been porcelain fuses for example and you can probably burn something else.
It’s 22:00 and you don’t have a phase fuse at home, it won’t be so fun.
Now we know that they are preparing for disconnection next week and we also know that they have not launched an information campaign other than that the electricity will be disconnected. This should reasonably be preceded by a to-have list, sleeping bag, those heat pads that you press and they give off heat for a few hours, fuses, unplug all plugs including the fridge when the power goes off, etc.

I think it’s really funny that we talk in terms of “electricity underclass” and “the elite” where the definition of the elite is that they have over 18 degrees indoors and a small hot tub.
Now it goes completely wild, I probably belong to the big consumers but don’t have a spa bath and don’t have 22 degrees, do I belong to the electricity underclass or the elite, the confusion is total.
What is even funnier is that people throw themselves over each other instead of attacking the reason why we are where we are today. Electricity shame spreads across the country and neighbors stop talking to each other over hot tubs and houses over 100m2.

In a way interesting if electricity-intensive industry spreads its working hours over 24h, or maybe they already have such shifts today?
Now maybe it wasn’t 8 hours as said but if it were so, how long does it take to heat up a cooled-down house?
At what frequencies will the outages occur, will there be time to get the heat up between outages?
After all, we are talking about people’s lives here so one can hope that it has been calculated thoroughly.
