Finally took the time to read the Telegraph article,

Why anyone even calls Putin is a mystery to me, Macron and Scholz have relapsed into abuse and are trying to mediate again. They should get a slap on the fingers with a ruler and deliver armor instead.
There is absolutely no reason to tiptoe around this anymore and it seems like the US is starting to understand that after last week’s signaling politics about stealth planes, that UA can bomb Russia and Leo2.
There has been a lot going on in the background here that we can only guess about but a few months ago the US went out very clearly and made it clear that only Ukraine negotiates peace. They did that of course because some/some Western leader started discussing peace with Putin, what he wanted and so on. Putin then naturally believes he has the upper hand and so the war is prolonged – the Western leaders who discussed peace with Putin have prolonged the war.
I find it hard to see that greater damage could have been done to Mariupol and its inhabitants with a nuclear weapon than what has been done now. This winter the last ones will have frozen to death is a reasonable guess?
If they manage to warm themselves, Russian soldiers will come there and either steal the heat source or throw the family out on the street and install themselves in the warm basement, maybe they keep women and small children for desecration?
The fear of contact is slowly starting to fade but it has cost Ukraine far too much and the EU is not unreservedly grateful yet, which we should be because they protect Europe by dying for us.
When Erik14 posts the first picture of Leo2 in Ukraine it will be exotic dip and chips on an ordinary day.

Can only agree. It’s just nonsense not to send more and send it now so this misery ends. Nuclear weapons are unlikely to be relevant and the idea that Russia would attack another European country is laughable. Yet everyone chickens out.

For some reason Ukraine has not received offensive weapons – armor, advanced aircraft, and qualified combat vehicles (a little has come, like Warrior).
The struggling Pinocchio is accelerating, Western leaders are probing if he can consider peace for a bit of land and Ukraine gets no striking power. Ukraine is annoyingly eager not to give up. He is preparing another round of mobilization, has materiel from Belarus and is quite confident that come spring 2023 Ukraine will be at a disadvantage after a winter of missile terror.
What is needed and what I think you start to hear is that the West says – howdy Ukraine how many offensive weapons can you field, you get everything. Not yet but the ball is rolling.
The struggling Pinocchio gets that sinking feeling that can only be cured with caviar and sodomy in the rear bedrooms.
Now the West has just raised the stakes considerably – bomb in Russia, we are okay with that, you will get advanced aircraft and armor from the top shelf, Iran has sanctions, Belarus seems ready to fall – over to you Pinocchio what do you want to do now?

It’s like an addiction diagnosis they relapse into all the time, they see an elderly or a child and immediately it’s desecration, torture, and murder.
Western soldiers at war do not engage in torture, rape, and murder of small children. In exceptional cases they do and in closed echo chambers, not in all army units.
The Russian army starts as soon as they enter Ukraine, no acclimatization over time, they bring it with them upon arrival.

Russian peacekeeping units are probably not immune to HIMARSed barracks and powerless nights?
Already low combat value should become even lower?
You get the feeling that Ukraine has moved indirect fire eastwards after Operation Badanka (is not a city). I think there are explosions everywhere right now, both against Russians in trenches and rear areas.
What is the Russian side supposed to do, they have a limited amount of reserves and Ukraine is increasing pressure on all active front sections while resisting their heroic bayonet attacks at Bakhmut.
Their units in front-line rest are being HIMARSed away. They have pulled units from the eastern side of the Dnipro just to get away from the artillery, so clearly they are affected.
Their combat command is already out of HIMARS range and cannot counter quick throws at all, and with some luck they will pull back resting units even further.
I still believe they have had problems with heating and used generators to power large complexes where units are gathered instead of spreading them out in basements all over the city due to the cold, but that will probably change soon.
It certainly looks like they are preparing the ground at the Southern front?
It is notoriously difficult to figure out where the units are right now, many guesses but they do not seem to have pulled everything out of Kherson yet so maybe leaving an opening for crossing the Dnipro. SOF are quite active on the eastern shore and that is probably for a reason – BTG grillers or crossing.
According to Twitter rumors, they have pushed the Russians back a bit at Vuhledar and Kreminna is soon encircled.
Overall it looks pretty good and even if the giant Zelensky looks tired, the desperation is gone in Ukraine – they are confident that things are going the right way.
Now we just wait for the canary in the coal mine to open up in falsetto so we know the winter offensive has begun.
They have started checking place names on the map again to see if anything spectacular has appeared 😃
