Don’t know what is representative but we started building up a buffer during the autumn for the electricity bill and cut down on most things before Christmas and New Year. Now the Christmas shopping turned out to be record expensive anyway despite fewer purchases which I found interesting.
How does it look overall, was Christmas worse for retail or was it just me being stingy?

We reduced consumption by 32% compared to the previous owner’s last December, which I recall was warmer. For a while, I thought we would go down 40%, but that was optimistic.
Mostly 18 degrees, sometimes 17, and sometimes it crept up to 19 – that works too. The ground floor has been steady at 13-14 degrees, the radiators at the end of the installation were kept on, in other rooms the pipes passed through and then there was some residual heat.
A sunny and cloudless day raises the temperature a few degrees when the sun shines even in December, too bad it is rarely sunny.
The electricity bill will surely sting when it arrives but hopefully it will be payable.
