I am quite sure that it was the state’s regulating power that disappeared, the one they could step in with during price caps and maintain a fairly stable electricity price.
All other explanatory models that do not want this to be the reason for the high prices are irrelevant.
Then the pricing on Nord Pool is probably a problem as well, but it was not a problem before the state’s regulating power disappeared.
Now one could have regained that power by controlling the export tap, price caps in SE, or by zeroing VAT and tax, but they do not do that. Probably conflicts with the EU.
Stupid to shut down the regulating power for everyone except the electricity producers.
