Russia carried out a major attack during the night against several Ukrainian cities using both rockets and drones. They hit residential buildings and at least three people have been killed while sixteen have been injured. The numbers are likely to be adjusted upwards during the day. Zelenskyy warned of a major attack just a few hours before it began. Read more at Kyiv Independent.

When I look at the statistics, I always wonder how many soft vehicles there really can be in Russia, considering the high number that are taken out every day, so eventually these should run out, I think.
Soft are well passenger cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc. Then I would say that there are more or less infinitely many of them unfortunately.
Don’t know if they come from war-placed civilian cars, if so, there should be at least one annoyed average Ivan per destroyed vehicle.
The losses began to rise around the same time as films started to emerge about them using simpler vehicles such as motorcycles, those Chinese “golf carts,” and those “limps” (those resembling small minivans).
My guess is that Russia is starting to run out of both military and civilian transport vehicles (civilians might exist, but they probably don’t want to bear the cost). Instead, they are using simpler, cheaper, and therefore smaller vehicles with less capacity.
This means that many more are needed to maintain logistics, which in turn leads to higher casualty figures because there are many more targets for Ukraine’s drones to strike.

The Department of Defense Pentagon in the USA is removing its press room for journalists, reports American media. Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell writes on X that they will remove the so-called “correspondent corridor” – where journalists have worked for decades. Instead, it will be moved to a nearby annex, but it is unclear when it will be put into use.
The decision comes after a federal judge ruled in favor of the New York Times newspaper after they sued the department over the new press rules. Last fall, the Pentagon introduced requirements for journalists to sign forms with rules to report from inside the building. The judge agreed with the NYT that it violates the American Constitution regarding due process and freedom of speech.
The Pentagon will appeal the ruling, claiming that they can no longer control journalists from a security perspective.
Iran is said to have received the initial points for potential negotiations with the USA. This is confirmed by a high-ranking Iranian official to CBS News. The points are said to have been handed over to Iran through an intermediary.
“We have received points from the USA via intermediaries and they are being reviewed,” the official said.
The information comes after Donald Trump claimed to have had productive talks with Iran and therefore is halting attacks on energy targets for a couple of days. However, this has not been confirmed by Iran, whose Ministry of Foreign Affairs initially denied that any talks took place.
Iran launched several attacks against Israel overnight on Tuesday, reports The Times of Israel. Shortly after midnight, a powerful explosion was heard in Jerusalem and later during the night, air raid sirens were heard in several parts of the country.
“In northern Israel, cluster ammunition hit a residential area in Haifa. One person is said to have been injured in the attack. At least six people were also injured after buildings were hit by Iranian rockets in Tel Aviv.
Both Saudi Arabia and Kuwait have reported that Iran has fired rockets and drones at the countries.
In state-controlled media, Iranian sources claim that the US and Israel have attacked gas facilities and residences, resulting in casualties. Donald Trump stated on Monday that he would not attack Iranian energy targets for five days.”

“Investors poured over half a billion dollars into the oil market about 15 minutes before Donald Trump’s post caused oil prices to plummet. This is reported by the Financial Times, which has spoken with several stock market players.
“My gut feeling, after monitoring the markets for the past 25 years, is that this is very abnormal. […] It’s an unusually large deal for a day without any risk events… Someone just got a lot richer,” says a trader at a major hedge fund.
According to Tim Skirrow at the analysis firm Energy Aspects, the trading volume was indeed higher than normal for the morning hours, but not extreme enough to draw any definite conclusions.”

I thought we would see it turn up again but the overall trend is still slowly declining, we’ll see how the Russian offensive goes, maybe it has already stalled.
Tomorrow I see as a signpost. If it continues up then the offensive is not over. Otherwise, it is probably stone dead.
Interesting curves. Very good with 7 and 28-day averages. I have had a bit of difficulty reading the explanatory text (on the phone) but now it worked well.
👍
If the USA stops selling LNG to us, what will happen?
Then we will have to work with bonfires to keep ourselves warm. Especially since it’s not an election year next year.
Then we will sign the trade agreement 😀
EU should respond that if one is not allowed to buy gas, one is no longer interested in continuing to buy American government bonds and feels compelled to order the sale of these.
Could the USA have created a crisis where those obligations will be sucked up pronto?
The entire MENA region is currently buttering up the USA and has unlimited money?
Eu points out Russia for having “weaponized” migration against the EU MXT.
Don’t you usually write that you don’t believe in that?
And Europe was totally infiltrated just as we wrote.
good with elections in Hungary
Poland’s president is pro-Russian
Is not a FUCKING LOT of special forces on their way to Iran?
I don’t think there will be peace there, Trump calmed the markets with words only
Hmm. Some thoughts. I can’t help but listen to various Youtubers about the situation in Moscow where mobile internet is down and Telegram has been more or less shut down. Concern about demonstrations being planned and coordinated online?
And where is Putin? The man obsessed with his own security. Is he hiding somewhere with his private security detail? Can he still rule the realm? A strong man who appears weak is no strength in Russia. He may soon be gone. Dead or fled to North Korea, after three helicopter changes.
I believe the attack on the oil port in Primorsk was just too much for the Russians. What significance does an oil price have if the oil cannot be exported? To be continued. Thank you for letting me brainstorm freely!
A violent Ukrainian offensive on this 🤩🤩🤩
I think he usually keeps himself hidden during a crisis. I hope this is a gigantic crisis that brings down young Mr. Putin.
It’s probably on its way to becoming a gigantic crisis entirely created by the Ukrainian shooting, but we’re not really there yet, maybe?
Very many funds that restrict withdrawals now, a signal as good as any
What is the name of Mållgan in Arabic? Or maybe in Persian…?
I think this is repeating itself, “junk bonds” I was too young to have experienced but before 2008 it was those “mortgage backed securities” with leverage and now it’s all leverage again.
Funds give you good returns between crises but then when a new financial crisis like 2008 comes, chaos ensues and it’s impossible to know who will survive.
Risk is then just a word for those who themselves consider it force majeure, kind of, and above all, there is no one outside the fund who knows if they have followed their own guidelines.
I have some silly little KPA pension from some job in my youth but they send a bundle of papers every year – now it has already decreased by a few % before the financial crisis begins and it will be interesting to see what happens with it in the next two years.
Pension funds seem to be just a way for smart money to be able to dispose of their holdings before the crisis hits.
Sure thing – just want to check who usually writes that –
-The USA does what is good for them.
-The USA is just like the bank, not your friend.
I think Trump’s threat of an LNG stop from the USA if we don’t promptly sign his unfavorable trade agreement falls within both of the above categories 🤣🤣🤣
He has learned.
From China.
All against us 😶
European shutdown of significant nuclear power production may not have been entirely successful.
But like so much other European policy, it was based on an ambition to save the planet and its entire population, as well as its future equivalent. In that case, one must be prepared to make some sacrifices of their own.
I have long been interested in this phenomenon that China, the USA, and India are increasing emissions so much that they increase overall because we buy everything from them.
If we had manufactured ourselves, we would have produced a SMALLER CO2 footprint than what we buy today.
So none of the arguments about net zero and all that has been put forward over the years are true –
– either there is something else behind it and it is being used as an excuse.
– or everyone who has worked for it is so incompetent that they have cheated their way into their jobs.
😂
Jockesoft – the category of soft vehicles has an endless amount unfortunately, we went through it in 2023 or thereabouts.
It’s not very successful that we have an election right when a financial crisis is starting and global escalation is happening.
There will be a certain decision vacuum whether we like it or not.
That’s why I’ve liked that the Tidö team has sorted things out with Mona now so it doesn’t get stuck for six months when they try to negotiate what they want.
But then we have democracy and of course there could be an election win for the opposition as well, and then they must immediately make decisions on difficult issues like financial crisis and war in the vicinity.
Clarity advantage in times of distress,
Allting kommer på en gång.
Aftonbladet –
Filip Poon showers in orange juice, freshly squeezed, and Bianca Ingrosso is single. It was just last week that her new boyfriend was introduced in Aftonbladet’s quick news.
Thank you for the information, now I’m as well informed about the news in Sweden as a person approximately seven time zones away 👍
I know who Ingrosso is but who is Poon? Should I know that?
I don’t think the US’s goals swing wildly around Iran at all, Trump’s statements swing wildly but it’s to calm the markets.
The US has its best ground troops toughening up towards the area and Israel is clear about regime change still.
Trump instills calm in the market with his statements while his actions seem to aim for long-term security and stability in the region.
Quiet on the markets is hardly the case, rather as usual Trump making statements here and there so that his buddies make money. If one wants to calm the markets, it’s probably not a good idea to appear as if changing plans every day/hour as has been the case now? Sure, it’s possible that there is a consistent plan but I’m not holding my breath considering Trump’s various proven past insanities. Right now, it feels to me like both Putin and Netanyahu have enough dirt on Trump to get him to do as they please, and he is desperately trying to serve two masters.
Well. It’s about standing up for the Western world. I have no criticism to direct towards either the USA or Israel for how the “war” against Iran has been designed. It has been handled professionally. One must expect resistance from the mullahs until the very end. They can cling to power. Nothing comes easy as they say.
Then there’s Trump, a chatterbox who is who he is. But you never know how long he’ll stay. One must look ahead and see things from a longer perspective. There is no reason to romanticize autocratic regimes in the Middle East just because the USA is currently led by the right-winger Trump. For a while. The hatred towards Trump is monumental in the West. It’s a crisis phenomenon. We must rediscover the values that once made the Western world successful.
It’s about how to be as a human being. Not what one thinks politically.
If it’s about how to be as a human being, one can hardly think otherwise than that Trump is an unusually deterrent example, right? When it comes to what made the Western world successful, he also has an extremely poor track record with law and order (failed coup attempt), free trade (random tariffs), reliable international relations (threatening to invade his allies for incomprehensible reasons), etc. Very few people are likely to sympathize with the Iranian regime, and if it falls, I will be very happy, but few individuals have less deserved the benefit of doubt than Trump.
Trump definitely has personality flaws. That we can agree on.
Amen to that, Lasse W!
Is that Kharg Island he has in sight?
Probably
The Epstein scandal faded from the news flow, and the fact that it was close to the Iran war in time may not have been a coincidence?

I sometimes think about this thread and how it can be translated into the media’s reporting in general.
Sometimes I present a fact (every other day) but it is received differently depending on where one stands.
Then facts are presented differently by different writers depending on where they stand.
Our media is of course the same in its reporting and then the group that becomes the largest tends to dominate.
There’s a lot of action in the thread today, exciting ✊✊✊
The Netherlands is on its way to becoming the first NATO country to integrate drone and counter-drone capabilities into all combat formations – not just in special forces, but in the entire army.
This is a direct lesson from Ukraine. NATO may finally be adapting to the new reality.
– Euromaidan Press March 24, 2026
Energy industry insider in Iran tells me the following, and it is STUNNING:
Before the war, Iran exports just shy of 1.1mn barrels of oil per day, and sold it at $65 per barrel minus $18 discount (i.e. $47)
Today, it exports 1.5mn barrels a day, and sells it at $110 with only $2-4 discount.
And this does not include petrochemical sales that not only have increased, but are now being sold to a larger set of customers compared to before the war.
Moreover, Iran is receiving payments through new mechanisms that bypass the UAE, which were set up after the June war.
In essence, and this is really important to understand, Trump and Israel’s war has ended up delivering Iran de facto sanctions relief.
This means that Iran is all the less incentivized to end the war, unless the agreement provides Iran with formal sanctions relief.

Iran is the closest to a war with Russia that the USA can come without declaring war on Russia.
The only way to bring down Iran is through popular uprising, and Israel is working against it continuously. We have now reached the point where outposts are unmanned because the soldiers are terrified of death, and the entire leadership is sitting in bunkers, moving every other hour.
The IRGC and Bashij receive threats every day via text messages, and the army is trying to win over Israel.
The Shah has declared a war of liberation or whatever it is called.
And groups of armed civilians have started shooting soldiers at outposts.
This is happening regardless of what the USA does and has escalated significantly in the past week.
Finally, the regime is losing control of cities, and they cannot travel between cities because Israel/USA have excellent intelligence gathering and will eliminate them on the highways.
Forgot – the border with Pakistan and Afghanistan is full of IRGC and Bashij leaving Iran.
Afghanistan? Are the Taliban letting in Shiites? They are, in their eyes, worse than infidels, they are apostates
Yes, kind of. You sit in bunkers and fake control over the country. A while longer.
Not too long until I believe both the USA and Israel understand that they must conclude within a reasonable time.
Now everything came at once as usual.

Death to the slime monsters and the moles 🔥 ⛽️
So, is this true?
Iran pays 5% of all oil revenues to the USA, and the same with LNG?
Trump has already hinted at some big gift.
Probably true but IRGC’s “death to the USA” resulted in a 5% fine of everything they own and USA’s “free the oppressed women” turned into a bribe.
Both have shown an almost unprecedented ability to be spineless here 🤣🤣🤣
Israel can’t like this, impossible since they just called up half a million reservists.
Then Iraq has just joined the war on Iran’s side, talk about bad timing 🤣🤣🤣
The world has officially gone completely crazy.
Now the question is who Trump/USA made the deal with?
Next rumor, everyone needs to pay 2 million USD for passage through Hormuz except the USA and Israel.
ULCC can hold between 2 and just under 4 million barrels of oil. So around one dollar per barrel in duty. Compare that to e.g. 25% VAT, and it’s clear where the robbers are.
In any case, Iran should not be given any rights to oil in international waters.
Well, one can only hope that the Swedish VAT goes to something good (although too much tax money goes to crap), while 2 million dollars to Iran definitely goes to something worse than most of what the Swedish state finances.
If it’s true, it explains why Trump suddenly lifted the sanctions against the one he’s waging war against.
Trump sees an end to the war and has received a fantastic gift from Iran.
Why do I get excited and believe that this time is different? He is a master at manipulating me anyway.
Hope is the last thing that abandons humans.
Edit: No 1 was faster as usual.
We’ll see tomorrow 😀
A bit of a gigantic smash-and-grab heist over this.
I don’t think anyone has guessed this – either the mullahs will go up in smoke or the USA will retreat with their tail between their legs.
That Iran would buy itself freedom that the whole world is now paying for is exciting.
USA doing what is good for the USA is becoming more and more true every time it is written.
What the heck, didn’t think it would be possible to bribe Trump out of this, but it seems like there’s a chance for it, so the US/Trump gets 5% of what China pays for Iranian oil. What happens if the mullah regime is overthrown, does that deal disappear, will Trump take the mullahs’ side to keep his percentage?
Död åt trumpan 🔥⛽️
Death to Trump 🔥⛽️
It will be exciting to see what Israel does now.
Yes, today he actually surprised me 😀
One can hope that it is the Shah he has negotiated with and not the IRGC.
According to information in the media such as Omni. Trump is said to have sent a peace plan to Iran, it is what is called F15 and F35 when the bombers are named B2.
Were not the Soviet bombers that bombed Finland called Molotov breadbaskets when the Russians said they were dropping bread to the starving proletarians in the Finnish cities, when they dropped bombs. Is that why they write about Trump’s peace plan.
Okay, forget what I asked about. I understand now. Peace plan as peace plan, one should not drink beer this late and not this many maybe.
That’s what you should do 🧐
