Tabs in a post about the fronts,
Since Ukraine now respects full OPSEC and that includes the OSINTers, we get very little official information.
Deepstatemap, which has generally been considered credible, was threatened with mobilization if they continued posting front updates, so they have pretty much frozen the map.
The OSINTers we have followed throughout the war largely respect this, but sometimes someone posts their own map and they absolutely post Russian maps of Ukrainian successes with the information they themselves have received from the fronts as supporting information, slightly disguised.
UA Official also does not intend to tell anyone this year what offensive plans they have, and rightly so – we in the West leaked like sieves to Putin for three years.
Russia is still attacking on all fronts and the Ukrainian army corps are conducting mobile combat within their assigned areas where the 3rd AC clawed back a huge area to defend up in northern Luhansk, which has been one of the hardest places to defend.
It is easy to see that the more freedom the corps commanders have been given, the better it has gone locally and tactically.
Strategic operations require coordination and contributed capabilities at a minimum, and that must then be provided by the defense leadership – which has just been replaced.
Don’t know if it could have affected any operations, probably, but now it’s done.
The corps surely have horizontal communication and can themselves go to special functions like GUR or cooperate with neighboring corps to get some help.
The Scale regiment was the previous Chief of Defense’s “go-to” unit for difficult tasks and has today grown to division size. It is apparently being reviewed so this external resource may not be available?
They are also reviewing poorly functioning brigades and presumably there have been some voluntary departures or dismissals after the Chief of Defense change just like in 2024 when it was last changed.
I have a separate post about the big technological leap but for this post Ukraine today has the technological advantage and Russia is trying to catch up.
Locally, Ukraine can pool EW, anti-drone and their own drone capabilities so they can fight mechanized if they want. RU cannot fight mechanized anywhere.
This window has an end date which is probably sometime in 2027 as the cycles in this war have been 6-8 months before the other side caught up. It’s not very hard to catch up, equip the mobile fire groups that today have tube artillery with fire-and-forget interceptor drones and get your own medium-range AI loitering drones out and the scales will be balanced. Both capabilities are wearing RU out over time.
It is also generally accepted that RU intends to mobilize this autumn, exactly when and how many is still debated by experts but half a million or more is almost certain.
The window for Ukrainian offensive operations is thus now and forward until the ground sometime in October no longer bears, so there will be a forced combat pause until it freezes.
We know that Ukraine has been running REMO on lots of old vehicles that now have new weapon stations and that they have received mine-clearing equipment, thousands of fragmentation shields, amphibious vehicles for amphibious combat and all other offensive gear they have pointed out, so absolutely the level of ambition is high.
A few months ago the Russians complained that Ukraine trains landings under smoke over at the Dnipro every day and they think it is a threat to world peace. Moreover, the Dnipro north of Khakovka is a trickle with forest all over the area today – shield.
The condition of Russian units over at the Dnipro is terrible, hungry, thirsty and no diesel for the generators. Their entire staff, combat command and drone weapons are powered by portable generators.
The North Koreans are currently being flown in to the northern front but if you ask me it is to free up Russian units for the Baltics so the northern front is probably a no-go as 30,000 fierce North Koreans are stationed there.
By the way, cargo planes are now flying between Belarus and China, Russia-Africa as well – there are definitely things going on but you already knew that.
What we have heard about recently is up north of Lyman where Ukraine has now reached Makiivka so they have encircled 12 Russian units west of the watercourse Zherebets, there are only a few crossings on the stretch of the watercourse RU controls.
It is the 3rd AC fighting there but RU has close access to reinforcements from the northern front.

In Kupiansk RU is back inside the town but the situation is significantly better than before.

There are divided opinions about Kostyantynivka but RU does not control the whole town at least, UA attacked in the area with their offensive strategic reserve and cleared it out a while ago.
The map below is however a bit optimistic, RU seems to be in a good part of the contested area.

You probably always have to read the contested area as the attacking party being in it but not consolidated yet, and there it is RU.
The other area is Kamyanske where two VDV divisions under their own offensive have retreated 20 km, which I have been overjoyed about and accidentally broke the kids’ trampoline.

The amount of fighting, drones used, FAB bombs and artillery remains at a high level.
You can see RU losses in manpower here, high level.

This is a high-intensity war.
I don’t know how the discussions are going between us in Europe and UA right now.
We know that the USA is doing its best to torpedo Ukraine and Ukraine has probably given up on the USA really. Trump is Krasnov.
But since we have EU membership as leverage, they have to do as we say, that they stopped attacking targets in the Baltic Sea is either a combat pause or we have asked them to stop – time interprets the silence for us.
The Latvian government had to resign because a Ukrainian drone crashed inside their territory and Poland has several times asked Ukraine to stop destabilizing in their neighborhood.
The logical stumble is of course monumental since everyone with a little direct information understands that Russia will go after the Baltics next – not least the Balts themselves understand that.
To then ask Ukraine to stop stirring things up only to start screaming for Ukrainian help when they get attacked because Ukraine refrained is not going to earn you any medal except the cowardice medal in bakelite.
Their 40-day strategic bombing campaign was a resounding miracle and now they continue to attack high-value targets across the entire area in Russia.
It’s barely possible to keep up but Sevastopol has ceased to be a naval base now, LV on Crimea is almost gone, behind the southern front UA air with ground attack, high-value industry is hit daily and they took the war to Moscow.
There have also been some strikes on specialized aircraft at bases about once a week and they attacked ballistic missile launchers yesterday.
There have probably been 10 attacks on refineries since the last update a few weeks ago.
Ukraine is doing damage.
Several high-ranking generals have died in recent months so they have probably activated their Mossad 2.0 now even though some are internal power struggles in Russia.
The Russian “liberation fronts” which were previously six, probably more today, are now working together with Ukraine and ATESH to carry out liberation acts inside Russia.
For example, ATESH is constantly carrying out acts of liberation against the Russian railway network.
Ukraine is conducting asymmetric warfare across the entire area and very few targets remain – Yamal cross, Kerch Bridge, and the Kremlin, for example.
They have contacts with the partial republics waiting for the right moment and opposition in Russia who are also waiting for their chance.
DPR and LPR have been offered that if they lay down their arms at the right time, or turn their weapons against the Russians, old sins will be wiped clean.
But the timing for wizard-level precision must be right – Russia now surely has over half a million well-equipped internal troops they can pool together for areas that become unstable in the empire.
If you remember the posts from 2022 onwards, we described how leaders in the West are afraid of Putin, those who dared to raise their voices faced demonstrations from both left and right edges, political chaos, incriminating information released, and in other ways their lives as politicians became miserable, so many long hesitated to call a spade a spade.
I guessed it was the dark black secret no one wanted to talk about – that everyone understood that if you become the front figure, an enormous massive attack of subversive activity against you and your country would follow, so political survival almost dictated that you leave Putin alone.
The only time we know Russia threatened was when Belgian Euroclear was first going to release all frozen oligarch billions to Ukraine and then suddenly reversed – officials at Euroclear and politicians were said to have been threatened by Russia in the media. Maybe we crossed the line?
Down in the Balkans, RU tried to assassinate reasonable politicians and then blatant election fraud, but they resisted – Russia called them undemocratic and dictatorial.
Now in 2026, it’s all-in, in Russia’s view Europe has gone too far now – Trump is fully activated, sabotage groups have started, and all political influence and paid traitors have received their instructions. Newspapers are showered with incriminating information, fabricated or true. Recently, there were spectacular hacker attacks against, for example, Luxembourg funds, so soon we will probably know which government members have secret savings accounts they are hiding from taxation.
Direct hybrid warfare through trafficking, forest fires, and attempts at attacks on high-value targets has now progressed so far that the Baltics, Poland, and Finland have gone into staff mode to protect high-value targets.
Of course, the goal is to get us to abandon Ukraine, which we probably won’t do, but the urgent matter is the following – If Putin achieves the combat objectives with Luhansk and Donetsk Oblasts within a year and then announces that they now want peace, ceasefire, and world peace to protect the children (those who have not been tortured and murdered by Russia).
Will we at that time be able to hold out with empty LNG tanks, full hybrid war, and a half-bad arms industry because China has stopped exporting the key components we need?
There lies the crossroads for Europe that will shape us for the next 100 years.
With a bit of luck, Ukraine will get there first and the house of cards will fall, but if they don’t, this is a decision we in Europe own forever, not just us but our children and their children.
We almost have to reach the level soon where we accept that we are in hybrid warfare and start meeting this threat proportionally.
We should not have to end up in full war unless we fail to defend the Baltics so that Russia feels they cannot miss that chance, and we are probably approaching that point.
Then we also have another decision to make – will we try to assist our islands of friends around the world, those who have now chosen us when that choice needed to be made?
I’m thinking of Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, several countries in Africa, Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Iceland, Greenland, Svalbard, and Canada?

The current administration in the USA continues its campaign for Russian oil billions. Demanded a stop to attacks on oil tankers.
Good that it was discovered!
Not so surprising that it is centered on Austria. Other low-cost countries would have been Greece or Bulgaria.
the second hunter that has moved into the Baltic Sea
Suggestion: Show a “show of force” in the Black Sea instead, and let’s see how long it lasts….
Alternative suggestion: Look the other way when Ukraine sends drones through the Baltics to visit the Baltic Sea.
😮 Before the “election”!
Maybe these are the areas where he is least popular. It doesn’t really matter though since no opposition is allowed to run.
Where is this?
Some kind of map.
Interesting if it is true that they are trying to cut them off.
On DeepState Map, one rather gets the feeling that the Russians are advancing and that Yampil is in a bad situation:
I didn’t see the lyman in the corner 😳
Yes, that’s right, it’s the picture I posted in the post.
So it doesn’t look like the one above but like in the post 👍
These small zoomed-in maps, especially if they have Russian names, make you COMPLETELY crazy, it should be punishable 😡😡😡
The logic here?
Doesn’t that help the USA?
Hard to make sense of it.
I suspect it is about the cold sweat starting to run down the backs of Trump and the rest of the administration. The oil reserves are shrinking faster and faster, and the midterm elections are approaching rapidly, and a rising oil price leads to low popularity ratings. Hence Vance’s desperate plea to let every drop of oil reach the world market.
I am convinced that Zelensky has ensured a juicy quid pro quo for agreeing to the pause.
Weird that the oil is so cheap if the reserves are being depleted. I can’t figure it out? Shouldn’t the market be forward-looking? That is, if the reserves run out in a month, the price should already be high now.
There are probably several reasons, I guess:
1. The market was quite saturated before the war in Iran, Russia sold, among other things, as much cheap oil as they could. There was a surplus of oil and the reserves were probably well stocked in many places.
2. The market has certainly adapted to higher prices and is trying to save on consumption. For example, transport is probably planned more carefully and they don’t run half-full long-haul trucks, etc. Higher oil prices have an impact everywhere, so consumers are certainly also holding back on their purchases.
3. The countries around Hormuz are looking at alternative routes for the oil (even if not all can avoid the strait, of course).
4. Mainly the USA, but certainly other countries as well, are maximizing their production and increasing exports as much as they can. Good money when oil is expensive, so the motivation is there to run as hard as possible. They are probably working overtime and certainly skipping service stops that are not absolutely necessary.
5. Mostly it may be that the market seems to assume that it will be resolved. If the reserves really run out, they probably believe that the USA and Iran will come to an agreement.
There was talk that the reserves would start to run out already by, or during, the summer, but that did not happen.
The forecasts currently indicate that we are heading towards a deficit and IF the reserves also run out and the war is not resolved, prices will probably take off significantly during the autumn.
The American company Chevron owns 50% of the company Tengizchevroil, which produces oil in the Tengiz field in Kazakhstan, and they are also shareholders in the CPC consortium that owns the pipeline and the terminal. The oil is, of course, transported further via ships that use the terminal.
There was complaining from the American side earlier when the terminal was attacked, and now they are probably also afraid that Ukraine will attack the ships.
Otherwise, the US would probably have been happy and satisfied so they could sell more of their own produced oil at even higher prices. (Or not, Trump probably wants to lower the prices before the midterm elections).
That is a double-edged sword, Trump wants a high oil price so that the American producers do well, and it should be profitable to “drill baby drill”
Trump might also want a high oil price because it benefits his mentor Putin.
However, the high oil price risks messing things up in the election this fall. I wonder if he really cares that much about it, he has loyalists placed everywhere and can largely govern by decree. Besides, he will never admit a loss and will continue as if he had won.
Vance who bragged about cutting off support to Ukraine 🤮
Hopefully, as said, Zelensky got something good in return.
Thank you for the front review! 👍👍👍
Thank you too 👍👍👍
😂 “What,” says Ukraine when Vance calls and yells “weren’t we supposed to DESTROY the terminal? I thought you said we should attack!”.
Or they say, “Vance we don’t care what you say, if you want something, have Trump get in touch”.
They slapped the whole area yesterday 🤣🤣
😂🤩💥
nope, Europe has definitely asked Ukraine to stop in the Baltic Sea 😀
Pretty sure about that now.
Maybe it is time for Ukraine to start hybrid warfare against countries that support Russia and send some drones to Belgium’s gas storage?
Belgium actually provides quite a lot of support relative to its size and is also involved with F16s, etc.
But when it comes to imports and also releasing the frozen funds to Ukraine, they are completely wrong.
Now these figures concern LNG specifically and for July, so it is not the case that Belgium’s total gas imports come from Russia, but it is bad enough. Especially since imports from Russia also seem to be increasing.
Yes, damn it, Ukraine should blow up our gas storage as soon as possible 😡😡😡😡
That would teach the Belgians a lesson 💥💥💥
The EU has said no to Russian LNG from January 1, 2027. If they continue after that, I hope they are punished properly.
That might be a reason why they have increased imports, to fill all the stocks to the maximum before then.
They will punish the small countries, but if the big ones need to import, it’s okay.
Lex. deficit in the city budget. (Read France)
Some risk of that.
So the USA has thus slowed down UA in the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea – above are others who were somewhat earlier.
Will check but can guarantee that Germany is gulping Russian LNG as well.
So UA has GUARANTEED been asked to pause in the Baltic Sea.
It makes you tired 😡😡😡😡
My nagging about LNG supplies may not be entirely wrong?
Germany has basically stopped all direct imports from Russia, but instead buys a lot from Belgium, the Netherlands, and France, which in turn buy from Russia…
However, they also take a lot of gas from, for example, Norway and the USA, so they have also reduced those purchases.
It will be tough for several countries to find gas at a good price after the New Year.
If El Niño leads to a bitterly cold winter all the way down to Europe, it will be especially challenging.
Well, now it says “record import of Russian gas 2026” 😡😡😡😡
With friends like these, we hardly need any enemies.
One becomes tearful

66 billion SEK have we sent in usable currency to Putin
So, if we are dependent on Russian gas this year, which we CLEARLY ARE.
Then the USA holds the leverage over us, we apparently buy 60% of it from them.
We have asked Ukraine to stop bombing in the Baltic Sea because we need the gas.
The USA, which is torpedoing all of Iran and wants to pave over the country, asks Ukraine to stop in the Black Sea.
It’s damn 2026 not 2022 😐
—
In the long run, our unwillingness to point out Russia, to escalate in Ukraine or to enter the Baltics spells LNG.
Absolutely UNBELIEVABLE.
As I said, I am preparing an exorcism for Dengamle, the rest of you will get off with holy water.
It might be necessary to salt the ground under Dengamle as well to get the right effect, but the Vatican’s chief exorcist is looking into that right now.
This is part of the package around the Bible studies.
Europe still sells all the technology Russia needs from us through various arrangements.
Recently it was Germany, above Austria.
Russia pays with Euros received from our LNG purchases.
Ukraine must not shut down Russia’s LNG 😭😭😭
That I am ALWAYS right.
The USA has shut off the LNG tap and gone from 60% to 40% of LNG exports to us.
https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/us-lng-exports-europe-decline-asia-prices-surge-2026-07-01/
THIS has made us DEPENDENT on Russian LNG to avoid freezing this winter.
THIS IS WHY Europe is doing strangely nothing right now.
I will tear up my passport.
Try to nuance that if you can MXT.
Paywall, but I read it as Asia pays better? Completely normal market economy in that case, nothing strange at all.
The day it becomes political, i.e. forbidden to export more than x, then we’re talking.
How can Asia pay more than us?
They have saved so much money by buying cheap Russian oil?
I have my own conspiracy theory that it was not only Netanyahu who convinced Trump to jump on Iran. Putin also influenced Trump; he simply threw Iran under the bus because he knew that Iran would close Hormuz, and that Europe was dependent on gas due to the successful influence operations during the 2000s.
He explained to Trump that Iran had told Putin that they had made significant progress in developing their own nuclear weapon, and that an attack would, besides eliminating the nuclear threat, also enrich American producers. Netanyahu, in turn, explained that a regime change was possible as long as they removed as many mullahs as possible in an attack, and Mossad had the location and date ready.
When Trump went to war, he saw that everything was going Putin’s way, and that oil production indeed became profitable in the USA. The desire to meet Netanyahu’s demands decreased as he saw how difficult it would be; it was just as well to stay and alternate between agreements and attacks to control the price.
Putin got higher income and less support to Ukraine, so they can increase production, purchases, and use of the ballistic missiles that Ukraine can no longer shoot down since Trump has used up the entire stockpile of Patriots against Iranian Shaheds.
And Europe is left with dwindling gas reserves; Norway produces what it can, but now Ormen Lange would also be shut down longer than planned. Ukraine surely has plans ready for Yamal Cross, but Germany and the rest of the gas-dependent countries have surely conditioned support to Ukraine on the flow of Russian gas. If nothing happens very quickly with Hormuz, it will be damn expensive for electricity and heating in Europe this winter.
Now I am so annoyed that I am refraining, but the question of why we don’t have oil, LNG, and mining ourselves is naturally interesting, and there was NO shortage of warnings when it happened.
We have tapped a few deposits in Europe when it comes to oil and gas. It is the North Sea, the Norwegian Sea, and the Barents Sea where Norway grabs large amounts. Denmark and the United Kingdom also extract some in the North Sea, but there they seem to have started theirs. There are a few additional meager deposits but nothing that would make any difference.
There aren’t that many mines either, but we in Sweden are doing quite well, even though we lag behind when it comes to those rare types.
(If the state had stepped in earlier and subsidized the mining and extraction of rare earth metals, even though it has been considerably cheaper to import from China, you would probably have gone through the roof over the terrible waste of tax money.. 😉)
Time to grease up for the Cypriots 😶
Poland plans to start large-scale extraction after a historic oil discovery in the Baltic Sea. The country expects to have production up and running by 2027. The deposit was discovered off the coast near Świnoujście during the summer of 2025. It is described as Poland’s largest find of oil and natural gas ever.
The discovery was made at the Wolin East 1 borehole.
The area is estimated to contain about 22 million tons of crude oil.
There are also approximately 5 billion cubic meters of natural gas at the site.
The deposit extends over an area of 600 square kilometers.
https://www.dagensps.se/bors-finans/ravaror/olja-i-ostersjon-historiskt-ogonblick-for-polen/
Sweden apparently has large rare earth deposits?
EU can learn from Japan, which was early affected by Chinese sanctions and has, together with industry and the state, succeeded in producing Rare Earth Metals.
If you now come up with “yes, but it takes time and costs money to extract,” you are naturally right – we should not have shut down.
Unfortunately, we also run oil-fired combined heat and power plants in winter in Europe because we shut down nuclear power.
Read this, Europe is buying all the oil they can get from Russia for heaven’s sake 😡😡😡
https://energyandcleanair.org/july-2026-monthly-analysis-of-russian-fossil-fuel-exports-and-sanctions/
We have therefore significantly INCREASED our purchases of Russian oil and LNG in 2026 😡😡😡
Forgive us, for we do not understand our own best interests, fits well here.
Amen 🙏
It is exciting that when things finally go well in Ukraine, the pressure on us increases and things go less well.
There are daily mood swings depending on which area you read 😀
I wonder if it is the same Anders S who has been seen earlier commenting in various places, including SVT’s chats?
The same Putin fanboy as always

If it is the same, I don’t know, but he was definitely a real horror troll. Was anyone else, otherwise I thought the Q&A session was quite sensible.
Good point about the oil price, and if I may add one of the few good things Trump has done.
Speculators take negative or positive positions when they think they see a trend or have inside information.
They have tried with the oil price, but since Trump has changed direction three times a week, they have really burned themselves badly.
The large price fluctuations are speculation; one takes an underlying direction, everyone runs there, and it gets amplified.
Since Trump has crashed the party for about half a year, everyone is sitting with bloody noses and does not dare, at least not yet.
The second it becomes clear that Trump has lost control, it will probably take off.
Maybe they should ask Russia to stop fighting and go home instead? Just a thought.
Good idea
🤮
All weapons are dangerous in the hands of Ukraine. Maybe we can export them directly to Ryzh so they can destroy them in some peaceful way against a Ukrainian daycare?
Clowns!
Off-Topic, USA’s most corrupt president ever is being sued.
“USA’s president Donald Trump is being sued after launching a paid service to preview his posts on his own platform Truth Social. This is reported by CNBC. The criticism concerns Trump charging for information to the public, which also affects the financial markets. Charging $100,000 per month to get the posts first on his own platform is corrupt, write the media and press freedom organizations The Intercept and Freedom of the Press Foundation, who are behind the lawsuit. ‘This arrangement is remarkable, corrupt, and in conflict with the Constitution,’ they write.”
https://omni.se/a/d4rkxB
Apparently 10-15 already all are fund managers 😀
Trump has really moved the goalposts quite fast.
He has probably completely stopped caring about what people think of him, as long as he and his family and his (few) friends can enrich themselves.
I am seriously considering whether the Social Democrats (S) and the Moderates (M) should join forces in government?
They could draw up a list of issues to be resolved during the term and then seek support for each issue from the other parties to gain a majority.
Stick to the issues that are important for the country and cut out all peripheral trivial issues.
The Social Democrats will have a hell of a time with the Green Party (MP) and the Left Party (V), where the Centre Party (C) will just be generally annoying.
When the Moderates get too much power, it only leads to favors for the business sector, and even though we need “tougher measures,” we are starting to make some progress there. The Sweden Democrats (SD) cannot make themselves irrelevant, so they will push even harder until it goes too far.
It probably won’t happen, but maybe it would be best for the country?
The latest voter barometer is almost perfect for Russia.
The S party needs C for its own majority.
The Tidö coalition does not have its own majority.
As if set up so that nothing will happen during the term because MP-V-C will not be able to agree on a single issue.
It can probably also become a rather difficult government formation that will take some time?
Both blocs will have to lean heavily on the extremes and then suddenly peripheral issues become big business.
Can’t one claim that we are at war and that for the security of the realm we run a special with M+S for one term 😀
https://demoskop.se/valjarbarometer-augusti-2026-2/
Ebba Busch has flirted quite unabashedly with Magdalena Andersson. If the Moderates had not managed to make themselves irrelevant, it could have been an exciting election night.
In the matter of the Russian devils’ war against Ukraine, there is almost consensus.
If the formation of the government takes time, a transitional government will keep going and the parliament is still making decisions, so I don’t think the Russian devils have much to rejoice about, actually.
Fortunately, Kremlin’s Alternative for Sweden will not even be close to winning any seats.
Saw Paul’s latest video.

The interest rate for the American ten-year bond landed at 4.68 percent at the auction, up from 4.58 percent in July, which was slightly higher than the market rate ahead of the auction.
It was the highest level since 2007 and is a sign that demand was somewhat weaker than expected. Bloomberg reports this and also notes that investors require increasingly higher compensation to lend money to the American government over longer maturities.
On Thursday, the auction for the American 30-year bond is expected, which is anticipated to reach the highest level in 25 years. On Tuesday, the USA sold 3-year Treasury bonds worth 73 billion dollars at an interest rate of 4.29 percent.
For the three-year bond, demand increased, unlike for the ten-year bond where demand decreased compared to the previous auction.
On Wednesday afternoon, inflation measured by CPI came in line with expectations at 3.4 percent, which is still well above the Fed’s target of 2 percent. At the same time, the budget deficit is growing, contributing to rising long-term interest rates.
“It is still difficult for interest rates to fall when deficits are so large, growth is stable, the war continues, and inflation is above the Fed’s target,” says Gregory Faranello, head of trading and strategy for American bonds at Amerivet Securities.
The CPI figure caused expectations ahead of the Fed meeting in September to shift from a 50/50 probability of a rate hike to a 60 percent probability that the policy rate will remain unchanged, according to CME Fedwatch.”

Trump keeps nagging about lowering the interest rate, and of course, it is because the state’s costs just for continuously paying off the loans keep increasing. He promised to reduce the national debt, but he has completely failed at that.
During the first half-year as president, it actually remained quite unchanged, but since last summer, it has increased again, actually somewhat faster than before.
Interesting that the demand for government bonds is weak, so they are forced to raise rates.
There are somewhat mixed signals otherwise when it comes to the US economy. I would have expected inflation to continue rising due to fuel prices and tariffs, but it has instead decreased somewhat. Now oil has also gone down a bit. Inflation is of course still high compared to the beginning of the year when it was at 2.4.
High inflation usually leads to demands for higher wages, but they have managed to keep wage increases down.
That means that so far it is the population that has had to swallow the costs. That is good for the state but at the same time reduces purchasing power. The US economy is driven to a very large extent by domestic consumption.
So this can have a negative impact in the long term. Or wage demands may come soon, and higher wages would instead lead to higher inflation.
That consumers have had to take the hit so far may be part of the reason they have to raise the interest rate on the bonds. Even though many countries also invest, it is actually the Americans themselves who account for most of the national debts. If people have less money to move around with, interest in the bonds naturally decreases as well.
That is really interesting.
The FED owns about 30% now and can, if they want, write off 30%?
MENA and their security – which Trump has worsened, forced purchase of national debt with security?
There are probably a couple of tricks left 😀
Lower EUR using Russia so everyone runs to USD?
As said, I have to choose currency for salary at the turn of the year 😭😭😭
”Europe plans to sell the cargo from boarded ‘shadow ships’ – and Putin responds by threatening to seize Western vessels. It would be a risky move for Russia, says military analyst Jörgen Elfving to DN.
If Russia makes the threat a reality and ‘responds in kind,’ as Putin said during the day, it would risk drawing other countries into the war and opening up an entirely new front, according to Elfving.
– It remains to be seen what they actually do. It also depends on how the West continues to act against the shadow fleet, he says.”

As mentioned, I don’t like last-minute election influence, and Expressen’s one-year-old news about V was no exception.
The right question at the right time, whether fabricated or true, can make a difference, and the bar keeps being lowered. Good idea with a truce two months before an election.
Excellent with the criminal law package – pros and cons.
There we have one of the most important issues for broad voter groups and a resounding clear YES – NO.
Extremely good that each side takes a clear stance 👍
No election pork, no campaign promises they do not intend to keep, but clear, definite, factual statements from all eight parliamentary parties.
Excellent.
Don’t know when the meeting was but Europe has now decided to call a spade a spade.
Come what may come.
The shower of information right now is magnificent.
We are taking the verbal fight anyway💥💥💥💥
