Yes absolutely, Ukraine must join NATO as a defender of our eastern border together with Poland, the Baltics, and Finland.
I think bringing in Belarus over time would also be possible but Russia is, as far as I can see, a lost cause.
Russia is like the serial killer where the only options are either life imprisonment or execution, everything else leads to a bloodbath.
The world is not fair and those Russians who can should leave.
The danger is that the EU is exactly what we think, completely spineless.

It is not fun to have to think about this, especially not that after Ukraine’s sacrifice many politicians will not hesitate for a second to betray Ukraine. We can only hope that the USA and UK take up their role as they usually do in major conflicts since the Napoleonic era.

Yes, this feeling has been creeping in for a while now and it can only be a 4 and then you make it as difficult as possible for the Russians to build up a threat again through sanctions and encapsulated behind NATO countries. That is the only way forward and the concern, as many have said, is that EU leaders are chicken out along the way. Ukraine has to live with the threat of war but it is better than being a Russian puppet province.
