First, there will be offensive operations from Ukraine and then we will probably have an indication of the timeline here.
The sluggishness of the Russians has surprised the best and you can never know when the collapse will come.
What I do think you can start to sense is that Putin will not be able to freeze the conflict so it will not be a long-lasting war like in 2014.
When Ukraine steps on the gas, it will take X number of months before the country is cleared of the criminal clan.

I am completely sure that ATACMS either is in Ukraine or on its way so that Ukraine fires up its last long-range missiles.
We saw this with 777, they came and there were 2-3 weeks of everything exploding within 30km.
Then it was HIMARS and we had a fantastic month with mushroom clouds up to 100km.
Now we have started the first week of party up to 300km with several targets taken out every night.

What’s so funny is that the Russians have worked like little weasels to move everything beyond first 30-40km, then it was the same grind to move everything beyond 100km and now they are there again 🙂
This time it’s game over for the logistics because it’s not possible to drive forward enough on the roads.
Moreover, Ukrainian SOF have spread everywhere so mines and ambushes will stop a lot and the railway tracks are like pick-up sticks by now.
Russian logistics is now disrupted as much as possible and they have no backup plan.

One wonders how much stress a Russian colonel general in combat command can take here, first it was 777 and they solved it. When HIMARS came there were probably sleep problems and panic attacks but they barely managed. Now that it’s time for ATACMS, I think even a Russian careerist’s limit must have been reached. They can’t really call in sick like us so they probably push straight to the wall and a massive stroke.
One can at least wish them a nice autumn 🙂

Sending a request in the thread, the first kind of months somewhere there was a video of 3-4 tanks and some MTLBs that got artillery fire, they stood between a road and a wooded grove in some field.
The tanks drove front to front in a semicircle and the MTLBs stood behind and drove back and forth.
Now that you can save Twitter videos, I have searched like crazy for it but haven’t managed to find it.
If anyone recognizes it, yes that’s it, please post it because it goes straight into the library to post if anyone ever breathes that Russia is a threat.

I’ve lost my edge a bit, I feel, because it’s been a long time since CV90 was brought up from my side.
One of the last puzzle pieces is MBT + IFV and that is almost settled at least for MBT.

When it comes to IFV, we basically only have ptgb, the Renault vehicles, and the M113, the glorified milk carton.
Warrior sounded cool until you googled it, 7.62mm.
200 CV90s would make a difference on the battlefield, that would be enough for a couple of brigades and be a good complement to the armor.
Fill them with anti-tank rockets and Carl Gustaf and drive them down with heavy transport.

There are always a bunch of comments like “you have to understand (any argument why they can’t be sent)” or that it wouldn’t make any difference.
I believe the opposite: the publicity for Sweden would be enormous, future exports enormous, the difference on the battlefield would be noticeable, and the vehicles would be beta-tested against what they are intended for, grilling Russians.

We have these in storage today and the Russian threat has probably never been lower than today… I see every reason in the world to send these to Ukraine, for once we Swedes can be on the right side of history, that would feel good.
All these war reparations we paid after WW2 that we called contributions to cover up would be forgotten.
