My take on this –
-if they try mobilization, there will damn well be a revolution within half a year.
-the Russians are trying to de-escalate, you remember we’ve discussed JanG and all the others crying on TV about Ukraine killing children when Russia wants peace. That won’t work because the psyops are a step behind now. The whole world is laughing at the referendum but in 2014 it worked, they took over Crimea and DPR and LPR were formed. A rerun of that went straight into the mud and they haven’t understood it yet.
-the sum of it all can only be that the Russians are completely outrun here, the bunker dwarf is panting in a gas mask and with diving shoes in lead while Zelensky is doing high knees in camo-colored spandex with the latest Nike shoes in blue and yellow. He can probably be a bit ferret-fast when needed, he looks like it.
-China doesn’t want to know about Putin anymore – remember the photograph where Xi wasn’t there. There was a nice comment in today’s thread that China understands that Russia is negatively affecting them now. Putin will learn the hard way that no one likes a loser.
-the question is whether the bastard lives until Christmas, maybe he’s embalmed and gets his own crypt on Red Square but they put him on a horse or around a stripper pole so it reflects how he lived his life.
-this war is almost over, the question is whether it will be before Christmas or the first half of 2023, it probably won’t last longer than that for the Russians to hold out here. The bubbles are starting to come quite high on the probability list now. There is no chance that Putin can either freeze the conflict or prolong the war. Ukraine has smashed the Russians on two front sections and is preparing for a third.

One wonders if he has a tester pair of underwear too now that Novichok has proven to work and how this man with very small hands and germophobia still forces himself to put on the tester’s underwear after about half an hour.
The tester probably hasn’t been allowed to sit down but had to stand upright and hold the fabric at the back, anything else would be too humiliating for the bunker dwarf. However, the worry about Novichok probably weighs more than skid marks.

Now that Izyum is no longer a threat, one could theoretically trick the Bunker Dwarf into thinking Bakhmut has fallen so he orders forward towards Slovyansk or some other idiotic move. It looks like you can defend around Bakhmut quite effectively if I haven’t missed that it is a dominant height, but then maybe the Russians just park themselves in the city without any further clever moves. A rat trap.
I’ve been thinking a bit about the southern front as well, that they let a wedge open that can be flanked now that Putin seems to want a win – anything. Then maybe the pressure is big enough that the risk appetite increases and they jump on a breakthrough?
Otherwise, the Russians haven’t acted like this, so it’s quite hard to know if they get what they seek by giving up something they then have to sacrifice lives to take back, but Donetsk Oblast might still be tempting?
