Maybe I’m speaking in my own interest here, but a property tax could probably break the back of quite a few if it becomes a real tax and not a reduced fee. It used to be around 100,000 SEK/year and you won’t find many homeowners with mortgages who can handle that with soaring electricity prices and tripled interest rates.
Then I can probably feel that why should one have to pay a fee to live?
The interest deduction should have been tackled a long time ago because it only drove up the price.
Then I actually think rut/rot is idiotic because both sectors just increased the hourly rate accordingly.
