Maybe unrelated but we pay a capital gains tax and imagine my surprise when I realized that the interest on it was 20% or thereabouts.
I thought it had to be paid no later than 90 days after it was credited to the account but got a letter saying it had to be paid within a month and interest is charged every other week it seems.
Now it always goes like this with stuff like this, you get really angry and shout about the Sheriff of Nottingham and then you pay right away 😀
