And they came to us about an hour later after they had finished assaulting the contractor.
Today we found out that they also stormed into the client’s headquarters a bit away from the project with “enforcers” armed with clubs, so we probably got off quite lightly after all.
Looks like in hindsight the union took a swing to target certain projects in their general strike because there was extra heavy-handedness specifically on this project, never miss an opportunity 😀
Instead of contract killing it’s contract demonstration.

I’m alive and not completely wasted nor releasing monkeys (this time).
A bit messy for the project manager who called everyone to work even though we had been told to stay home, now trying to blame everyone else. His latest theory is that someone in our team had called the union and tattled, otherwise they would never have found us. Let’s not let his theory be ruined by the fact that contractors who live next door to us got a visit at 08:00 and wrote about it in the WhatsApp chat to him…
