I actually have confidence that Zelensky will manage to navigate this.
He has Budanov on his side and he has shown many talents not least tough grips as it has turned out.
Cleaning up from time to time can also be seen as a leadership trait, not keeping old pals just because they are pals but that he also actually sets demands.
He has also imprisoned his old financier for the presidential race which also says a lot.
He has a very clear line – to do what is best for Ukraine and the pressure must be enormous.

Let’s see what dystopian scenario the gloomsters cook up today. Röpcke is on steroids regarding Pokrovsk’s upcoming fall and the media outdo each other in Ukrainian war crimes and Russian gains.
Kursk is an upcoming Ukrainian crushing defeat and that some in the government have resigned is a sign that Ukraine is falling.
At least I find it enormously exciting that Tim Pool et.al. have been seized with Russian money – will return to that.
As a nobody it is attractive to get both status and become financially independent and if you run something you also ideologically identify with it becomes even easier.
The best thing is that the FSB has given instructions to their paid influence operators to call everyone else Russian agents so the water will be muddy.
If someone had come to me and given me a million per post you would probably have read quite different yellow walls – all legal into a limited company that does consulting services for a company registered in Europe with loose ties to a Russian oligarch.
The tax agency doesn’t care because the taxes are paid and no one else cares either – a win simply for the person in question.

Joking aside (if that was a joke) I heard about your mission the day before yesterday and it sounds to say the least like a challenge and what a chance to turn the war around (won’t go into details so Budanov better stop picking on me!).
Then there will probably be some training on that technique maybe but it should be doable.
