4 injured in the Kyiv region after Russian drones attacked, among other targets, a pharmaceutical warehouse and a bridge. Russia launched a drone attack on the city of Hostomel in the evening, where a warehouse was attacked and four people, including an eight-year-old girl, were injured. Russia has also attacked bridges in Kyiv for the third night in a row, and during last night’s attack the important northern bridge over the Dnipro River was hit. Explosions were reported shortly after warnings were issued that drones were approaching. Videos on social media allegedly show a large explosion on the bridge while vehicles are passing. The extent of the damage caused by the attack is not yet known. The day before, a Russian drone struck near the southern bridge over the Dnipro River.

Kostiantyn Kryvolap, an aviation expert and former Antonov test engineer, does not believe that the attacks specifically targeting the bridges are intentional.
“Destroying a bridge with a 50-kilogram explosive charge, even with a very effective warhead designed to destroy steel bridge structures, is a big exaggeration. It is practically impossible. For a bridge like this, these attacks are more like mosquito bites,” he said.

Instead, he believes that the purpose behind the Russian attacks is rather to stop traffic, disrupt logistics, and exert psychological pressure on the population of Kyiv, according to him. Kyiv Independent.

Finally, it seems there is movement regarding the “mineral agreement” between the USA and Ukraine (you know, the one that was supposed to make Russia no longer dare to bomb Ukraine). The joint American-Ukrainian reconstruction fund (URIF) yesterday presented several investment projects, including the very first critical minerals agreement with the Ukrainian company BGV Group Management.

Under the leadership of US President Donald Trump, Ukraine signed the so-called “mineral agreement” with the USA in April 2025, which established a joint investment fund in Ukraine and gives the USA favorable access to investment projects in Ukraine. The fund is one of several investment arrangements Kyiv has established since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion and has since expanded beyond minerals.

The long-awaited critical minerals project will involve URIF developing a “joint investment platform” with BGV Group – a company founded by Ukrainian billionaire Hennadii Butkevych – which will “build a diversified portfolio of early-stage mining projects across Ukraine.” The initial focus will be on identifying rare earth metals, beryllium, and zirconium deposits in Ukraine. The deal is estimated to be worth about 30 million dollars. The total financing for the new investments amounts to about 70 million dollars, according to an official.

During the first 10 years of the fund’s agreement, all profits will be reinvested directly in Ukraine. American military aid can also be considered contributions to the fund. Ukraine has received hundreds of billions of dollars in economic support from allies since Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022, which has helped support the military and keep the country’s economy afloat. The 1683rd day of the Russian Federation’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun.

A total of 194 combat engagements were recorded during the last 24 hours.

Yesterday, the enemy conducted a missile attack and 90 airstrikes, during which 275 guided aerial bombs were dropped. Additionally, the attackers used 9,522 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,435 shellings against communities and our troops’ positions, of which 33 were with rocket artillery.

Among others, the communities of Bezsalivka, Korenok, Tovstodubove, Potapivka, Sopytj, Batjivsk, Neskutjne, Ulanove, Volfyne, Malusjyne, Bunjatjyne, Brusky, Kruzjok, Velyka Berizka, Ryzjivka, Havrylova Sloboda, Iskryskivsjtjyna, Rohizne, Budky, Znob-Novhorodske, Seredyna-Buda, Jastrubsjtjyna, and Kozatje in Sumy oblast, as well as Mykhaltjyna Sloboda, Butjky, and Blesjnja in Chernihiv oblast, were subjected to hostile shelling. The community of Pustohorod was subjected to an airstrike.

During the last 24 hours, the Armed Forces’ air, missile units, and artillery struck a UAV command post, a location where enemy storm groups had gathered, a logistics facility, five artillery systems, and an enemy command post.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions, the attacker carried out three airstrikes with five guided aerial bombs and shelled our troops’ positions and communities 55 times, two of which were with rocket artillery.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna direction, Ukrainian units repelled eight enemy attacks. The attackers tried to advance towards the communities of Starytsja, Vovtjansk, Okhrimivka, Karaitjne, and Izbytske.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy tried eight times to improve their positions through storm assaults on Radkivka, Kupyansk-Vuzlovyj, and Kurylivka.

Attempts to penetrate our defense were repelled in the Lyman direction, where the occupiers carried out eight attacks on the communities of Drobysjeve, Lyman, and Novoselivka.

In the Slovyansk direction, the enemy carried out four storm assaults in the area around Ozerne and Mykolajivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy carried out no storm assaults.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, 21 attacks were recorded. The attackers conducted storm assaults in the area around Kostyantynivka as well as against Osikove, Oleksijevo-Druzjkivka, Novoselivka, Illinivka, Kindrasjivka, Rozkisjne, Hruzke, and Vilne.

The enemy carried out 19 attacks in the Pokrovsk direction. The occupiers tried to advance towards the communities of Dobropillja, Svit le, Myrne, Serhijivka, and Molodetske.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy carried out, according to updated information, four attacks against Kalynivske, Berezove, and Myrne.

In the Huljajpole direction, the occupiers attacked our defenders’ positions seven times. The enemy tried to advance towards the communities of Vozdvyzjivka, Ternuvate, Rivne, and Hirke.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy tried once to improve their positions through an assault on Pavlivka.

In the Prydniprovske direction, the occupiers carried out a storm assault.

In the Volyn and Polissja directions, no signs of the enemy forming offensive force groups have been detected.

In total, the Russian attackers’ losses during the last 24 hours amounted to 1,560 personnel. Additionally, three tanks, six armored fighting vehicles, 45 artillery systems, three rocket artillery systems, 14 ground-based missile complexes, 1,645 unmanned aerial vehicles, 422 vehicles, and three units of special equipment were neutralized.

    Now I’m sitting in the Dominican Republic again, trying to regain my strength and will start with the posts quite soon, UA is damn incredible.

    What we discussed last year are the preparations that were made so well guessed you already know and always happy for all the praise in the threads.

    France is starting to get exciting too.

    The hybrid war is at a high level but Europe is preparing – that worry was unfounded. Moreover, there is FULL Russian hybrid warfare at all levels in our administrations – not easy.

    However, we are loooooong behind in warfare 2026 but if UA continues we will not go into any full war but only need to handle an escalation ladder which we can manage.

    RU has also lost the initiative against us, I think Putin missed reading the threads last summer but he can’t blame us for that.

        Probably, so they don’t end up under existential threat if Svalbard disappears. A bit like Crimea, perhaps?

    Early morning MXT with very nice numbers. It looks like we have reached a new level. Ukraine aimed to clear 50,000 per month to make it unsustainable for ryz. Now we are basically there. We’ll see how long it lasts, the gut feeling is very positive now.
