Operational information as of 08:00 on October 2, 2026, regarding the Russian invasion

Glory to Ukraine!

The 1682nd day of the Russian Federation’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun.

During the past day, a total of 207 combat engagements were recorded.

Yesterday, the enemy carried out 95 airstrikes, during which 284 guided aerial bombs were dropped. Additionally, the attackers used 8,891 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,705 shellings against communities and our troops’ positions, of which 41 were with rocket artillery.

Hostile shelling affected, among others, the communities of Tovstodubove, Sopych, Bachivsk, Potapivka, Korenok, Ulanove, Yastrubshchyna, Kucherivka, Malushyne, Buvalyne, Svoboda, Buniachyne, Kruzhok, Bezsalivka, Volfyne, Novokostiantynivka, Rohizne, Khotin, Pysarivka, Ivolzhanske, Korchakivka, Khrapivshchyna, Marine, Sadky, Mohrytsia, and Myropillia in the Sumy region, as well as Khrinivka and Kliusy in the Chernihiv region. Rozhkovychi, Yastrubshchyna, Sumy, and Osoivka were subjected to airstrikes.

During the past day, the defense forces’ aviation, missile units, and artillery struck three command posts for unmanned aerial vehicles, five areas with concentrations of enemy personnel, and one additional important enemy target.

On the northern Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors, no enemy assault operations were recorded during the past day. The attacker carried out five airstrikes with ten guided aerial bombs and 151 shellings against our troops’ positions and communities, of which four were with rocket artillery.

On the southern Slobozhansky sector, Ukrainian units repelled 11 enemy attacks. The attackers attempted to advance near Lyman, Vovtjansk, and Chaikivka, as well as towards the communities of Mala Vovcha and Radkivka.

On the Kupiansk sector, the enemy once attempted to improve their positions through assault operations towards Novoosynove.

Attempts to break into our defense were repelled on the Lyman sector, where the occupiers carried out three attacks in the areas around Nadiia, Novoselivka, and Dibrova.

On the Sloviansk sector, the enemy conducted seven assault attempts near the communities of Ozerne, Yampil, and Kryva Luka, as well as towards Pyskunivka.

On the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy carried out no assault operations.

On the Kostiantynivka sector, 27 attacks were recorded. The attackers conducted offensive operations in the areas around Kostiantynivka, Novoselivka, Illinivka, Mykolaipillia, Sofiivka, and Vilne, as well as towards Osykove and Hruzke.

On the Pokrovsk sector, the enemy carried out 30 attacks. The occupiers attempted to advance in the areas around Krasnopodillia, Novyi Donbas, Bilytske, Svitlé, Vodianske, and Molodetske, as well as towards Hannivka, Dobropillia, Novohrishyne, and Serhiivka.

On the Oleksandrivka sector, according to updated information, the enemy attacked once in the area around Ternove.

On the Huljajpole sector, the occupiers attacked our defenders’ positions five times. The enemy tried to advance in the area around Huliaipilske, as well as towards Rizdvianka, Dolynka, and Yehorivka.

On the Orikhiv sector, the enemy attempted three times to improve their positions through attacks towards Pavlivka and Prymorske.

On the Prydniprovsk sector, the occupiers carried out no assault operations.

On the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs have been detected that the enemy is forming offensive force groupings.

In total, the Russian attackers’ losses during the past day amounted to 1,520 personnel. Additionally, seven armored combat vehicles, 37 artillery systems, one rocket artillery system, seven ground-based missile systems, 1,470 unmanned aerial vehicles, 422 vehicles, and six units of special equipment were neutralized.
