Our correspondent Daniil Samsonov is currently at Rosanivski Gardens, where private homes were damaged, and there are both dead and wounded. Daniil, hello, tell us about the scale of the destruction—what have you been able to find out?

Speaker 3

Greetings, Yulia. Actually, we are in the Rosanivski Sady massif; in the past, it was a dacha community, and now there are many private houses here where Kyiv residents live. Essentially, it is a kind of geographical center of Kyiv on the left bank, which the Russians actively attacked tonight. At least two missiles hit here, approximately at 10 PM, one first. The explosions were of extraordinary power; I confess, I heard them myself, as I live quite nearby. As I said, at least two missiles hit here, and four streets were affected. If you walk through the affected streets, you can see that the blast waves did not cause massive devastation. Actually, we are now near a crater where a missile hit. Around here, you cannot see any intact houses, walls, or fences. That is, the blast wave effectively turned the residential dacha community into a real shambles. Right now we are standing in Mr. Oleksandr's yard; he was lucky not to be home yesterday evening, he survived and is doing well. However, his house is practically destroyed, as the missile hit right in his yard, destroyed an outbuilding as well as other objects, and quite severely damaged the house and the surrounding houses. If you look around, there are at least several houses [affected], but I ask you to listen to him in his own words.

Speaker 4

Minus the house, minus the garage; where the crater is, there I had an outbuilding and a grill area with barbecue, grills and gazebos. As you can see, from it they left such a crater and missile impact holes, so how serious it is; all the neighbors had everything blown out, but here is the epicenter. My house is beyond restoration.

Speaker 3

Unfortunately, Mr. Oleksandr's neighbor was injured; he is currently in the hospital. It can now be said with certainty that missiles hit here; experts have examined the site, and missile fragments can be seen underfoot; they have been collected, and experts continue to inspect the locations and recover these fragments. Unfortunately, on the neighboring Sadova Street, one person is known to have died, a 48-year-old man. He was at home, sustained very severe injuries and burns, and unfortunately, as we have preliminarily learned, he died in the hospital at 3 o'clock in the morning. In fact, we were unable to visit that location; experts are currently working there, and movement is prohibited because there are many fragments of downed missiles underfoot. As I told her, at least 4 streets were affected in the Rusanivski Sady neighborhood, which means dozens of houses. And I don't think that in total this night the Russians launched over 20 missiles at Kyiv, hitting in three waves; the consequences are significant, one person died, over 20 people were injured. And since the night, over 400 rescuers have been working in Kyiv. In fact, regarding how the rescue operation and the liquidation of the consequences are proceeding, I ask you to listen further in the direct speech.

Speaker 5

At almost all locations, rescuers have completed extinguishing operations. As needed, rubble removal operations are being carried out, as well as operations to douse structures at some locations, additional work at most, the involvement of municipal services, and technical work is being conducted. Specifically, this concerns private houses in the Niperskyi district, buildings damaged by the blast wave, and the premises of a cathedral and a medical facility in the Pecherskyi district.

Speaker 3

And finally, I will say that this is just one of many locations where there are terrible consequences of this night's attack. In total, as many as six districts of the capital were affected tonight. That's all from us for now. Yulia?

Speaker 2

Thank you, colleague. This was our correspondent Danylo Samsonov, who reported on the consequences of the Russian strike on the private sector in the Dniprovskyi district of Kyiv. The Rashists launched a massive missile and drone strike on Ukraine. 12 of our regions were under attack. They struck with Iskanders, Zircons, and Onyxes. They also launched 210 Shaheds. More than half were jet-powered, the Air Force reported. The main direction of the night strike was Kyiv. In total, there were hits at 32 locations. Debris fell at eight. The Air Force shot down most of the drones, but they have not reported regarding the missiles. Three waves of ballistic strikes were launched by Russian humanists on Kyiv, and they used 21 missiles, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote on social media. This was the main strike of the night. A drone threat was also announced twice. It started again in the morning. And so far, one death is known in the Dniprovskyi district. A total of 24 people were injured, the prosecutor's office reported. Among them five. Underage Russians hit private houses, specifically in Rusanivski Sady. 13 buildings were destroyed there on several streets. Consequences of the hits were also recorded in the Holosiivskyi, Obolonskyi, Pecherskyi, and Sviatoshynskyi districts. Eight high-rise buildings were damaged; the enemy again tried to hit the South Bridge. Foreign transport and metro traffic are closed there. In Pechersk, the Rashists hit an ambulance station. Six ambulance cars were damaged. Medics, fortunately, were not injured. In Pochaina, a construction hypermarket, a restaurant, a monastery building, a post office, and an office premises were damaged. Witnesses report that the arrivals were one after another.

Over there, those behind the wall. I think they gave shocks like that. Yes, and not those either, see what shards are all around here. Bang, bang, bang. Yes, those who came out immediately started filming when it was burning near the Nova Poshta. We got out of the dormitory.
