Dear Ukrainians, today throughout the day in Dnipro, Kyiv and the region, in our other cities and communities, energy workers and specialists from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine are working, eliminating the consequences, and restoring electricity after Russian strikes. Every day, unfortunately, there are many hits on the energy sector and significant damage; the Russian operation against our electricity generation, against our grids, and against energy connections continues.

We are able to shoot down a significant portion of Russian Shaheds, but unfortunately not all of them. And it is more difficult with ballistics. Overnight, there were 17 ballistic missiles, a difficult challenge. And especially when there is such a deficit of Patriots. I am grateful to every single person in the repair crews, grateful to everyone involved in the restoration work. I want to thank you all for your professionalism and for your courage.

Work continues without interruption, except for air alerts. And there are constantly new threats and constantly new strikes. And therefore, restoration takes time. In Dnipro, unfortunately, there were repeated strikes during the day. And even now, in the evening, both on the energy sector and again on the railway station. Unfortunately, there are additional emergency outages. We have the forces and equipment for restoration. In Kyiv and the region, in Chernihiv region, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv region, Sumy region, there must be prompt work for restoration everywhere. Today there were hits by Russian ballistics in the Poltava region, Kremenchuk.

Our oil refining infrastructure was the target. The Russians have not taken a single step toward de-escalation in the energy sector. Terrorist strikes in our cities are constant. We will continue to act accordingly and quite justly continue to work with all partners regarding ammunition for F-16s. We are preparing new solutions in the near future. I thank everyone who is actually helping. There will be important negotiations in Turkey. We are also working to ensure that all existing diplomatic prospects are realized. We hope that in November we will be able to move to the formats that have been discussed for so long.

A few more things. There are new decisions for the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine to increase the units that perform deep-strike tasks. I thank you, warriors, for your accuracy, and I will certainly increase your capabilities. Ukrainian long-range capability is our long-term security guarantee. Our guarantee that the independence of our state exists and will exist.

We are developing this direction. Right now, literally in these hours, the execution of a humanitarian mission in Oleshky continues. People are on their way [to safety] in Ukraine. All our services, the defense forces of Ukraine, are contributing to saving as many of our citizens as possible. It is important that Kherson received this silence, which was so needed.
