Over the past week, Russia has bombarded cities across Ukraine with more than 2,000 attack drones, according to a statement from Zelensky yesterday.
In addition to the drones, most of which according to Zelensky are jet-powered and capable of reaching 600 kilometers per hour, Russian forces also fired 1,700 aerial bombs and 19 missiles of various kinds. “Every day and every night we defend ourselves against Russian attacks,” he wrote on social media. The 1671st day of the Russian Federation’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun.
During the past 24 hours, a total of 238 combat engagements were recorded.
Yesterday, the enemy conducted 91 air raids, during which 295 guided aerial bombs were dropped. In addition, the attackers used 10,237 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,903 shellings against communities and our troops’ positions, including 35 with rocket artillery.
Hostile shelling affected, among others, the communities of Bezsalivka, Korenok, Ulanove, Rohizne, Tovstodubove, Potapivka, Sopych, Kucherivka, Budky, Iskryskivshchyna, Fotovyzh, Vovkivka, Volfyne, Vilna Sloboda, Shpyl, Starykove, Kruzhok, Malushyne, Rudenka, and Khrinivka in the Sumy region, as well as Mykhalchyna-Sloboda, Huta-Studenetska, and Krasnyi Khutir in the Chernihiv region.
During the past 24 hours, the defense forces’ aviation, missile units, and artillery struck four areas of enemy personnel concentration, four command and launch sites for unmanned aerial vehicles, four artillery systems and artillery positions, as well as three other important targets belonging to the occupiers.
On the northern Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors, six enemy assault attempts were recorded during the past 24 hours. The attacker conducted two air raids with four guided aerial bombs and 65 shellings against our troops’ positions and communities, including four with rocket artillery.
On the southern Slobozhansky sector, Ukrainian units repelled seven enemy attacks. The attackers tried to advance towards the communities of Tokarivka, Okhrimivka, Mykolaivka, and Vilcha.
On the Kupyansk sector, the enemy attempted six times to improve their positions through assault operations towards Podoly, Kivsharivka, Zapadne, Radkivka, and Fyholivka.
Attempts to break into our defense were repelled on the Lyman sector, where the occupiers carried out 15 attacks towards the communities of Novoiehorivka, Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Lyman, and Shyikivka.
On the Sloviansk sector, the enemy conducted five assault attempts in the areas around Kalenyky, Kryva Luka, and Mykolaivka.
On the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy carried out no assault operations.
On the Kostiantynivka sector, according to updated information, 24 attacks were recorded. The attackers conducted assault operations in the area around Kostiantynivka as well as towards Illinivka, Dovha Balka, Mykolaipillia, Toretske, Pryiut, Kucheriv Yar, Vilne, Nove Shakhove, and Novoselivka.
On the Pokrovsk sector, the enemy conducted 19 attacks. According to updated information, the occupiers tried to advance towards the communities of Novyi Donbas, Vodianske, Dobropillia, Novohrishyne, Novopidhorodnie, Serhiivka, Molodetske, and Vasylivka.
On the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy stormed towards Myrne.
On the Huljajpole sector, the occupiers attacked our defenders’ positions twice. The enemy tried to advance towards the communities of Vozdvyzhivka and Charivne.
On the Orikhiv sector, according to updated information, the enemy tried twice to improve their positions towards Pavlivka and Lukianivske.
On the Prydniprovsk sector, the occupiers conducted no offensive operations.
On the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs have been detected that the enemy is forming offensive force groupings.
Total Russian attacker losses during the past 24 hours amounted to 1,660 personnel. In addition, five tanks, four armored fighting vehicles, 75 artillery systems, three multiple launch rocket systems, three air defense systems, 17 ground-based missile systems, 1,728 unmanned aerial vehicles, 516 vehicles, and 13 units of special equipment were neutralized.

** In Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region, another Russian terror attack on the regional center overnight left five people injured. Emergency crews rescued five others and evacuated 14 residents.
Two nine-story residential buildings were damaged, with fires breaking out in both. A shopping center and a university building also caught fire following the attack.

Has Trump said anything about the drone strike on election day?
For RU it was an ENORMOUS provocation, no matter how irrational and offensive it is for us.
Europe has quietly accepted UA’s increasing curve because previously we did not want to provoke RU, and then UA complied.
Trump recently promised protected oil infrastructure, so he did not get what he wanted at all.
RU is now running a campaign to twist it into Europe actively participating in the drone strike.
So waiting to see what Trump or China says but haven’t heard anything?
The important thing is – could it be that Europe understands where we are headed and now unreservedly supports Ukraine, it seems so.
It took too long but better late than never.

Quite simple for Europe,
First – now we are probably quite close to understanding whether the USA also has an understanding with China or not.
That Russia-USA has it we know.
Everything that is going to happen would have happened anyway and what the USA/UK is doing is trying to keep Europe passive long enough.
That has failed and everyone knows that the best way to fight a shrew on the upswing is to throw away low-effectiveness responses and lay out sticky paper.
Europe’s strongest card is to fully support UA.
Then that we defend ourselves and it is starting to look like we will do that even though I still have my suspicions about Estonia and half of Latvia.
IF USA-China have an understanding, Taiwan will soon enter the game as well but over there we can’t do much. Australia and NZ, on the other hand, should get planes and ships.
Don’t know how our government formation is going other than that it is a dream situation for RU but that we have also reinforced Gotland just as tough decisions are made anyway.
Macron, Tusk, Finland, the Baltics, and Germany all have the ability to make decisions.
Denmark also works.
That is sufficient and there are more who will contribute like Spain, UK, NL.
