  1. Do we believe in a ceasefire, should the lottery numbers be 0 tomorrow? It would be fun to have a vote on the matter. My vote is no, there will be no ceasefire.

  2. “Security in Moscow has been significantly strengthened ahead of today’s celebration of the so-called Victory Day, reports Reuters. This year’s traditional parade will be scaled down without heavy weapons such as tanks and missiles, due to threats of Ukrainian attacks.

Russian authorities have warned of massive retaliatory attacks if the celebration is disrupted, writes AP. At the same time, the mobile network in the capital has been restricted for security reasons, and several foreign leaders, including Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, are participating in the ceremony.

US President Donald Trump announced on Friday that Russia and Ukraine have agreed on a three-day ceasefire between May 9 and 11. According to Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky, the agreement also includes a prisoner of war exchange.”

  3. We will see what happens on Red Square in a few minutes. Zelensky has generously promised in a decree to keep the parade protected within certain coordinates corresponding to Red Square from 09:00 local time. A genuine trolling from Zelensky.

The question is whether there will be anything at all. The Russians have apparently revoked the accreditations for foreign journalists.

    1. Since they don’t dare to show anything real, the broadcast is mixed with prerecorded videos that are supposed to show how militarily strong Russia is. 😄

Their air defense is apparently completely superior!

      1. That’s really the case.
Also interesting is what the other blog writes about Zelensky having ordered a ceasefire only within certain coordinates, and that it was done before Trump went out and said that he had “ordered” the ceasefire… One can wonder what is true.
But it’s good if a prisoner exchange takes place so that more Ukrainians can come home, and that Ukraine secures its part of the whole before they move forward again.

        1. Yes, I think I have seen him before. If the cap slips down a little more, it can make distance judgment more difficult, which does not bode well for the parade.

  4. For every localized Russian attack, one unlocalized (Ukrainian). Highest ratio 0.98 since the measurement started May 1, 2025, and broke the record on October 17, 2025, 0.91.

The distribution of the localized battles is as follows.

    N Slobozhansky-Kursk 10💥
    S Slobozhansky 15💥↗️
    Kupyansk 1↘️
    Lyman 8↘️
    Slovyansk 2

    Oleksandrivskij 3
    Huliaipole 22💥

  5. Everyone is so stupid towards Russia, of course they have to defend themselves! 🤡🤡🤡🤡

“Putin praised soldiers in speech: ”Defending themselves against an aggressive force”

The annual Victory Parade has begun on Red Square in Moscow. The first to speak was President Vladimir Putin, who gave a short speech, writes The Independent.

The Russian leader praised, among others, the Soviet troops who fought during World War II.

    – Our soldiers suffered enormous losses and made great sacrifices for the freedom and dignity of the peoples of Europe, said Putin.

During the parade, Putin sat together with soldiers who have participated in the ongoing war in Ukraine, writes the state Russian news agency Tass.

    – They are defending themselves against an aggressive force supported by the entire NATO bloc, said the president referring to Ukraine.

According to several sources, the internet was completely shut down when the president spoke, writes TT.”

  6. AFU reports:

    245 combat clashes
    23 air strikes
    87 KAB/CAB
    8,189 kamikaze drones
    1,936 shelling (10 from MLRS)

When it comes to KAB and artillery, one might almost think they intended to pretend it was a ceasefire.
  7. News from yesterday, confirmed by AFU:

”⚡️⚡️It has been confirmed that GRAU’s weapons depot “Kedrovka” as well as two factories for the production of explosives and FAB bombs have been hit

💥🔥Measures are underway to reduce the Russian Federation’s capability for armed aggression against Ukraine.

⚡️It has been confirmed that the production buildings at the “J.M. Sverdlov Factory” in Dzerzhinsk (Nizhny Novgorod region, Russia) were hit on April 30, 2026.

✅The “Sverdlov Factory” is one of Russia’s largest manufacturers of explosives. The company produces virtually all types of ammunition – aviation and artillery shells, warheads for anti-tank missiles, ammunition for engineering troops, and so on. Among other things, the factory manufactures fragmentation bombs (FAB), which the enemy then uses to produce guided aerial bombs (KAB).

⚡️It has also been confirmed that a strike on April 25, 2026, occurred in a building on the premises of GRAU’s (Russian Ministry of Defense’s Main Rocket and Artillery Directorate) arsenal “Kedrovka” in the settlement of Kedrovka in the Sverdlovsk region of Russia.

⚡️Additionally, it has been confirmed that the infrastructure at a factory for the production of explosives in the city of Selts (Bryansk region, Russia) – the Bryansk Chemical Plant – was hit in May 2026. It is an important part of the aggressor country’s military-industrial complex and one of the links in the supply of ammunition to the Russian occupation army.

To be continued!💥 Glory to Ukraine!🇺🇦”

  8. Off-Topic, corruption in Sweden (and sorry a bit of domestic politics)

To counteract nepotism and cronyism, public procurements are made so complicated that it becomes impossible for smaller companies to participate. It has nothing at all to do with the companies’ competence and delivery capability but is about those who purchase the services being able to justify their decision. “Look, they have a nice 98-page quality plan,” etc.

Small companies don’t stand a chance because it requires having an employee who is an expert in public procurement; otherwise, it can take a week or two to put together the necessary documentation (the requirements also differ each time, so it is not enough to have participated in one procurement).

It’s not only complicated for those submitting bids; it also takes a lot of unnecessary time from those who are procuring. Money that could have gone to better things.

Of course, I do not mean that these rules should be completely dropped; corruption must and should be fought against, and without rules, nepotism will become more the rule than the exception.

BUT it makes me damn tired when I see things like this.

“Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M) personally participated in a meeting where the foundation Teach for Sweden, in which his sister-in-law is involved, received an increased grant of twelve million kronor, writes Aftonbladet. Member of Parliament and former Social Democratic civil minister Ida Karkiainen, who has also been chair of the constitutional committee, is critical and believes that Kristersson should not have been involved in making the decision.

    – He should have known better, considering that he has also previously been criticized for exactly this type of conflict of interest situation. He could very easily have left the room, she says.

At the same time as Teach for Sweden received significantly increased grants, other similar organizations have been forced to cut back, which employees within the foundation that Aftonbladet has been in contact with question.”

    1. One of Trump’s children got a contract with an oil country in the Middle East at the same time as the country received eased restrictions on defense equipment. Some rumor, but Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, the Moderate Party, is probably in good company. There was something about Putin’s daughter as well.

    2. Flurrevuppen

The big money has been intended to flow out from the pension system through “the green industrial investments”… makes other corruption appear like a trickle…

      1. Poor comparison. Just because you think that green industrial investments are a waste does not mean that it is a matter of corruption. Or does Ulf own large amounts of shares in those companies?

Then I wonder if you mean that since there is worse corruption, you don’t need to care about that?

Since there are murderers, it must be completely okay to commit burglary and steal cars?

        1. Flurrevuppen

It was not intended to excuse Uffe in any way, although I can see that one can interpret it that way. M, C, and S are all very good at getting public funds into the pockets of related stakeholders. Even KD strongly protects the subsidy-industrial complex.

Then about the industrial investments… when there is obviously zero possibility of normal profitability, there are presumably other motives behind it. Most often, these motives involve moving other people’s money into their own pockets. In this case, our pension money.

    3. It has been difficult for small companies all along because the requirements set from the beginning are never followed. We participated in a procurement where it was clearly stated that the bid should be in SEK, which we submitted. All the others were in EUR. When we then wanted to obtain documents to question the decision, they delayed so we received them too late. Shut the whole thing down, it’s just nonsense!

If you get a long document, you have an AI agent that you have taught and trained on your company’s business model, etc. Then you throw in the document and get help interpreting it and finding pitfalls and clauses you cannot fulfill and thereby strike them as counterproposals.

    4. Do you remember Refad El Sayeed?

It was probably during Ulf Adelsson’s time? The Moderates.

The Moderates’ party leader Gösta Bohman’s coalition colleague, Torbjörn Fälldin? It was during his time the scandal with the coffee girls, and the murder of Katz Falk?

Shady circles. Lucky there is a Green Party.

        1. Cats Falk reveals that ASEA sold printing presses to Iran’s business partner DDR. Printing presses that can be used in the production of nuclear weapons.

“DDR’s business partner Iran is searching high and low for such presses around the world” (Expressen)

Of course, there are some who consider it illegitimate and unwarranted for the USA to deprive Iran of nuclear weapons technology and the printing presses that ASEA sold to Iran, which Falk also reveals happened with the Social Democrats’ full knowledge, as they “approved the communist state DDR as a buyer of nuclear weapons technology”,

Now, the Toblerone you are referring to above is not OK just because the Social Democrats previously sold nuclear weapons technology to Iran? Or was that a “good” deed?

    5. Agree, slightly against Kristersson. They should always take the safe option over the uncertain and assume that it will come out.

A good example is Carl-Oskar Bohlin who sold all his shares when he became a minister with the reasoning that he did not want any suspicions of conflict of interest or corruption to arise. That is why I am in favor of ministers etc. having a good salary so that they can refrain from shareholdings and other things that could raise suspicions.

    1. The Golden Calf Trump…

Almost looks a bit AI-generated, or maybe it’s just the absurdity that makes me want the statue to be AI-generated.

  9. Darth Putin

“Day 1537 of my 3 day war. From this day forward, the Moscow Victory Day Parade will take place only by the consent of the President of Ukraine.

    I remain a master strategist.”
