Russian losses in Ukraine
Feeling like I’m repeating myself, but today’s report on Russian losses shows that they continue to suffer heavy losses. In addition to many killed and wounded soldiers, we have unusually high losses of armored vehicles compared to how it has looked recently. Twice since the turn of the year, it has been as high or higher with 11 and 13 respectively. 424 Soft vehicles is the fifth highest reporting for the entire war.

- 11 AFVs
- 88 Artillery systems
- 4 MLRS
- 1 Air defense system
- 2164 UAVs
- 12 UGVs
- 424 Vehicles & fuel tanks *)
- 7 Special equipment

** Rybar reports of #Ukraine success in west Zaporizhia: The trend towards deterioration of the situation in the area of Kamensk on the West-Zaporizhia direction not only persists, but also develops. Evidence of the enemy’s buildup of presence to the east of Stepnogorsk and the occupation of new positions to the southeast of this city have been appearing on the Internet for quite some time. Ukrainian formations tried to occupy several strongholds on the line of Kamensk – Stepovoe. Footage of strikes on these forest strips is not appearing for the first time. Thus, the enemy retains the opportunity to act south of the line Stepnogorsk – Pavlovka, where battles for small strongholds in the forest strips are still ongoing. There is no evidence of the presence of the Russian Armed Forces in Pavlovka and the surrounding areas for quite some time, and given the shift of the battles to the south, the enemy is accumulating there without much difficulty. Note that the enemy’s breakthrough to the line Kamensk – Stepovoe – Shcherbaki did not happen all at once and was the result of prolonged battles since this spring. As the enemy occupies new positions in the vicinity of Stepnogorsk, further attacks by Ukrainian formations on Plavni and Kamensk are very likely. At the moment, practically all territorial gains from the spring of 2025, when the offensive of the “Dnieper” group of troops began, have been lost in this direction. In the area of Orekhov, the situation remains the same for now. There are positional battles on the approaches to Novandreevka, Novodanilovka and Malaya Tokmachka. There are no changes in the zones of control here, but there are very contradictory reports about both the advances of the Russian Armed Forces and Ukrainian formations. Given the problems caused by strikes on logistics, the situation remains alarming. Of course, this does not mean that there will be an immediate major breakthrough. There is still enough time to react and mitigate risks, the question is only in assessing the real situation, which has sometimes been surprisingly strange in this direction. **

Good morning MXT and others.
Ukraine is probably quite close to its goal regarding the number of eliminated Russian bastards? One can’t help but wonder how long they can continue to take such heavy losses.
Any news about the situation in Crimea?
Good morning!
Looking at recent times, you can see that the average is steadily over 1100 per day and since the turn of the month May/June it has increased further.
There is still a bit left before they reach 50,000 per month, but they are well on their way to getting there!

Troubleshoots
If they do not phase out, at least I will choose other options. Push to leave has not been updated regarding Arla.
After the merger – Arla makes cheese in Russia
Through the merger with the German dairy giant DMK Group, Arla has become the owner of an extensive operation in Russia.
The dairy group currently has no concrete answers on how the situation will be handled.
The controversial merger between Arla and the German dairy giant Deutsches Milchkontor, DMK Group, was recently approved by the EU competition authority.
The purpose of the deal is to give Arla better economic resilience and to secure future food production in Sweden, was the message from Cecilia Kocken, CEO of Arla Sweden, when the dairy group declared the merger at the end of May this year. With the promise that a stronger cooperative secures both growth and higher milk prices for Swedish farmers, Arla, however, did not address a sensitive issue: that of DMK’s continued operations in Russia.
Cheese factory in Russia
Other dairy companies, including Arla, have withdrawn from Russia since the country’s large-scale invasion of Ukraine just over four years ago. But DMK has chosen to maintain its production aimed at the Russian market in the form of a cheese factory in full operation in the Voronezh region. The German dairy giant has previously stated that the operation in Russia will be evaluated as soon as the merger with Arla is approved.
Arla, in turn, has promised to handle DMK’s activity in Russia once the merger has come into effect, which it did on June 1 this year. So far, however, the dairy group cannot answer how they intend to address the issue.
Concrete decisions
“Arla’s stance on operations in Russia is well known and remains unchanged,” emphasizes Cecilia Kocken in an email response to TT, but states that she cannot share more details.
“Only now that the merger has been completed can we begin to make concrete decisions. At the same time, we have a responsibility to handle the situation for the local employees in a correct and respectful manner,” she says.
Vera Hassenpflug, press contact at DMK Group, also does not want to comment on future plans for the activity in Russia:
“Arla and DMK are now one company and will make decisions as such,” she writes in an email response to TT.

It still looks okay. What puzzles me a bit is why KAB is not going down. I had the impression that the Swedish ASC890 planes had been delivered a few months ago and were supposed to be useful specifically against KAB flights.

The letters on the McDonald’s sign at Lukianivska Square in Kyiv have melted after an attack on a nearby mall at the end of May. But inside the hamburger chain, business is in full swing until an air raid alarm sounds and staff and customers run down to a shelter, writes The Guardian.
The block is the most bombed in Kyiv, and in recent months the situation has only worsened. According to Russia, the explanation lies in the destroyed property across the street, which was once a weapons factory. But the recent attacks have mainly damaged civilian infrastructure. 23-year-old Anastasija Prymak moved to the capital from Nikopol two years ago to escape the attacks. Now Kyiv also looks like Chernobyl, she says.

Off-Topic, The War in Iran
“Pakistan states that Iran and the USA have agreed on a peace treaty, writes AFP and Reuters. The country, which has acted as a mediator for the past two months, says the agreement is ‘final.’
‘We are aware of the disinformation campaign carried out by those who wanted to sabotage the peace agreement. If you disregard all the noise, we can confirm that a final, agreed version of the peace treaty has been reached,’ writes Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on X.
According to Sharif, all efforts are now focused on finalizing the last details.
‘Peace has never been closer than it is now,’ he continues.”

“The USA has during the night shot down several Iranian drones over the Strait of Hormuz, according to the military command Centcom. The drones attempted, according to the USA, to attack commercial shipping in the strait, news agencies report.
‘The international trade corridor remains open for passage,’ writes Centcom on X.
The shootdown comes just hours after the USA and Iran stated that a peace agreement is closer than ever. It constitutes the latest military escalation between the countries.”

“A peace agreement between Iran and the USA would mean the end of the blockade in the Strait of Hormuz, says Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, according to AFP. But also that the management of ship traffic through the narrow passage will henceforth be handled by Iran and Oman in cooperation.
– Iran is determined that the administration of the Strait of Hormuz will not be as before, says Araghchi to Iranian state television.
Talks are said to have begun with Oman on how the strait will be managed going forward.
USA’s President Donald Trump said earlier on Friday that Iran will be forced to shut down its nuclear program, but according to Abbas Araghchi this will be a later issue.
Switzerland has offered to host the parties for the formal peace signing, writes TT.”
